Gateway Classic Cars of Kansas City is proud to present this 1966 Ford Thunderbird Landau Coupe!! Wow, the history of the Thunderbird is rich! Debuting all the way back in 1955, the Thunderbird was Fords immediate response to the newly marketed Corvette. Rushed from idea to prototype in under a year! The Thunderbird would become one of Fords longest produced cars. Spanning from 1955-1997, and 2002-2005, the Thunderbird would see not just a few redesigns, but 11 generations in total! Here we have a 1966, the last year of the fourth generation. The pink paint is in good shape, shows very well and the black vinyl top is complemented by the nice conditioned black vinyl interior. Under the hood is a 390ci V8 engine mated to an automatic transmission.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is excited to present this 1977 Excalibur Phaeton Series III marketed on consignment with our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. Around 3,500 Excaliburs were built in Milwaukee, WI that used engines and transmissions from GM and were styled after the Mercedes-Benz SSK, a 1920’s Roadster designed by Ferdinand Porsche. When you set your eyes on the Neo-Classical body, it’s hard to know where to look. This Beige Excalibur has two spare tire holders, side exiting exhaust headers, a canvas roof, rear luggage holder and a front end that is very Mercedes-reminiscent with horns, chrome grille and a hood ornament. These cars are designed to turn heads like a Rolls Royce but could be bought for the same as a down payment on the former! It’s safe to say the 454 CID V8 “big block” engine is a surprising thing to see under the hood of this Excalibur Phaeton considering the square footage but it fits in there! Estimated output is around 215hp/350lb ft of torque for the 1977 model according to statistics sourced online. Parts are easy to find for Chevy motors and most mechanics will know how to work on them when you’re in a pinch. Similarly, the 3-speed TurboHydramatic automatic transmission provides reliable gear shifting. Inside this Excalibur, you’ll find some modern conveniences that you’ll be grateful for such as a full set of gauges, air conditioning, an AM/FM stereo, steering wheel from a Corvette and a floor shifter. Tan vinyl seating is generous with room for five people if needed and the detachable hardtop is well constructed. If you’re looking for a vehicle that will make you feel like you’re a movie star in Hollywood, California but won’t come with the expensive repair bills then this Excalibur is worth looking at! Give our helpful and knowledgeable Sales staff a call by dialing (623) 900-4884 for more information on this 1977 Excalibur Phaeton Series III for sale. Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is excited to offer this 1950 MG TD Roaster for sale. Stored in a dry heated garage since 1991 this MG is in excellent condition. The older British racing green Paint job is aged but shows very well as it shines nicely. The chrome is very nice. There is some pitting on the headlights, but they still look great. Believed to be a two owner vehicle it runs beautifully and shifts through the gears smoothly as it should. The current owner has spared no expense improving the drivability of this little roadster. Taking care of all the little things that happen over the years and can be neglected. The convertible top is in excellent period condition with a clear back window. Side curtains are also included. They are not new, they are functional. The wooden dash is in excellent condition as is the aftermarket wood steering wheel. The wonderful thing about old cars is that they take you someplace else other than where you are going. They can take you back to a time and place that are no more. This MG does that as well as any little old British roadster. Take a ride down a winding country road and you will be moved to the countryside just outside of London. You might even catch yourself with a little British accent. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is a beautiful 1970 Cadillac Coupe DeVille. The Cadillac de Ville was originally a trim level and later a separate model produced by Cadillac. The first car to bear the name was the 1949 Coupe de Ville, a prestige trim level of the Series 62 luxury coupe. The last model to be formally known as a De Ville was the 2005 Cadillac DeVille, a full-size sedan, the largest car in the Cadillac model range at the time. As it had been since De Ville became a separate series, De Ville denoted Cadillacs mainstream model, falling between the Calais, which had replaced the Series 62 and Eldorado. In 1970 a facelift included a grille with 13 vertical blades set against a delicately cross-hatched rectangular opening. The bright metal headlamp surrounds were bordered with body color to give it a more refined look. Powered by the monster 472 cubic inch Cadillac V8 engine. This massive V8 pumps out plenty of horsepower and with even more torque, this land yacht gets up to speed with ease. Backed by a 3-speed TH400 automatic transmission this is the definition of a cruiser! With its lowered stance and 20-inch wheels wrapped in low profile whitewall tires, this Cadillac really stands apart! Options on this gorgeous Caddy Coupe DeVille include power steering, power brakes, leather seats, seat belts, am/fm radio, tilt wheel, power locks, power seats, power windows, numbers are matching and features 20-inch wheels with thin line whitewall radial tires. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Denver is proud to present this beautiful 1976 Pontiac Firebird Formula. The 1976 Pontiac Formula Firebird had a new appearance package that featured bold FORMULA graphics along door bottoms and rocker panels. Incorporated into a full-length, blacked-out strip, this suggestion of ferocious intent enhanced the mid-range models attraction for customers who couldnt afford a Trans Am. Pontiac made a point of promoting a Formula painted Goldenrod Yellow in its ads, with black lower-body striping.Body revisions were the most extensive in five years, led by new urethane bumpers and smaller front air inlets. Axle ratios were lowered this year to boost fuel economy -- a continuing matter of concern, even though gas shortages hadnt lasted past 1974. A rear anti-sway bar no longer went into the radial-tuned suspension.Base Firebirds adopted a new rosewood instrument-panel inlay. New Formula equipment included a steel hood with simulated airscoop, a front console, and chromed side-splitter exhaust extensions set at a jaunty angle. For the first time, a full-length front console was standard fare in the Formula.Product planners reworked the Firebird options list, adding such items as a canopy-style roof, vinyl-covered on the front half. A two-barrel 350-cid V-8 now was standard in the Formula (Turbo Hydra-Matic only), delivering 160 horsepower. The 185 horsepower, 400-cid V-8 was optional, and could drive a four-speed. Prices up to $4566 for the Firebird Formula. While many Americans were turning to subcompacts, both imported and domestic, sporty machines hadnt quite lost their allure. Chevrolet and Pontiac continued to clutch almost abandoned ponycar market to their collective corporate entities.Options on this Formula include: Power Brakes, Power Steering, Leather interior and more.

Description:

We are proud to offer this 2001 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 in our Saint Louis showroom! It is a well-cared for example with some tasteful touches. BACKGROUND: The Corvette model is one that needs very little introduction in car circles. Corvettes are known for speed and performance throughout the industry. Chevrolet has stayed true to this throughout the years and they always have that next level option for even more go! The Z06 package first debuted from Chevrolet in the famous 1963 C2 Corvette. It began as a performance package geared towards clients who may want to take their new car to the track. The Z06 moniker was not seen again until 2001. Finally, the Z06 emblem resurfaces on this 2001 Chevrolet Corvette for the first time in 38 years on this C5 Corvette. As always it delivers even more performance above and beyond the baseline Corvette. We get the LS6 engine for the Z06 model pushing the power output to 385HP! Exhaling from the LS6 we have Dynatech SUPERMAXX headers leading into a beautifully tuned Borla quad exhaust guaranteeing smiles and excitement. On the inside of the 2001 Corvette we have a Hurst shifter, and cameras on the front and rear of the car feed to the rearview mirror. We have LED lighting under the dash, in the engine bay, underneath the car, and Corvette puddle lights to finish off the light show. To protect from rock chips there is a clear bra film fixed to the front of the car. In front of the rear wheels are air vents to force cool air onto the rear calipers. We also have the C6 Z06 wheels for a more modern feel. Look no further, this car is waiting to provide its next owner with many years of smiles and enjoyment.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Indianapolis is proud to offer this very well put together 1988 Chevrolet Camaro IROC-Z. In 1985, Chevrolet introduced the legendary IROC-Z version that was named after the International Race of Champions. Offered as an option package on the Z28, the Camaro IROC-Z featured an upgraded suspension, lowered ride height, specially-valved Delco-Bilstein shocks, larger diameter sway bars, a steering/frame brace known as the wonder bar, a special decal package, and an optional tuned port injection system taken from the Chevrolet Corvette. This 1988 Camaro IROC-Z has its original 350 CID V8 and 4-speed automatic that has just 13,665 actual miles and is a One-Owner car. This 1988 Iroc is no ordinary Camaro though, added to the already great performing engine is a Paxton Supercharger, SLP headers, and 4 inch exhaust. With all of the power added the transmission was also upgraded and has an Art Carr torque converter. This fine example is a well-optioned car wearing the original shiny coat of Bright Red exterior paint that shows very well. The interior is all original with black and gray cloth seating surfaces and plush carpet that looks almost as good as the day it was new and the only modification is the hand controls which can be easily removed with no evidence of them ever being in place. The consignor recently added a new set of wheels and tires which are 15-inch Weld racing wheels wrapped in Mickey Thompson tires - that just sets her off! But if that isnt your preference, the original wheels are available as well. Features include: Original AM/FM radio with cassette, power steering, brakes, locks, mirrors, and windows, a/c, tilt wheel, cruise control, aftermarket 5-star wheels, radial tires. The car runs great, looks great, and has always been well maintained. From bumper to bumper, this car looks great making it a vehicle that you want to own. The bottom line is simple; whether you are looking for a daily driver, a collector car, or an investment; this is it! Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to offer this 1978 Chevrolet C3 Corvette. For 1978, a new fastback rear window was the most dramatic and noticeable styling change from the previous years, giving the then ten-year-old C3 Corvette body style a fresh lease on life. The fixed-glass fastback benefited both aerodynamics and increased the usable luggage space behind the seats while improving rearward visibility in the bargain. The tachometer and speedometer were redesigned to match the new “aircraft styled center console and gauge cluster first seen the previous year. This C3 is finished in a nice red paint complimented with black leather interior. Under the hood sits a very civilized 350 cubic inch V8 backed by 3-speed automatic transmission. And keeping things cool under the hood is an upgraded aluminum radiator. The C3 Corvettes are rapidly increasing in popularity and value so now is the time to act. Give us a call today for details!
