It should be noted that under the hood lies a numbers matching powertrain that is a 396 cubic inch 4-bolt main big block Chevy that features .040 Sealed Power pistons connected to Eagle high strength connecting rods, 3 angle valve job that features 2.07 intake valves which are clearance matched to the relief cutouts on the piston surfaces. Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to offer this rustic, 1949 Dodge B1B truck. This recently restored classic only has 475 miles put on it since its engine was rebuilt, and she looks like she just came off the assembly line. The exterior color is Victory red, with the wooden bed and the factory-original wheels. The interior of this marvelous machine is faux leather that is a Saddle and Doe color with a Victory red dash. This pristine vehicle has a 218-cubic inch flathead 6-cylinder engine with a four-speed manual transmission and may remind you of the old farm truck you learned how to drive a stick shift on. This amazing truck was restored properly and looks period correct. It has a dodge pilothouse cab on it which I have been told is very desirable. This is a very well-done restoration, with either original or period correct parts used. Items like the front disk brakes were strictly done for safety reasons. This truck is ready to go and is a turn key car. Remember yesterdays thinkers are todays buyers so dont wait to drive this beauty. Description:

If you’ve been looking for a C3 Chevrolet Corvette, look no further! This beautiful numbers matching 1972 Stingray is available at our Dallas showroom…for now…but it won’t be for long! This is a fresh restoration with only 10 miles since rebuild and repaint done at J B Corvette Specialists earlier this year. Finished beautifully in Mille Miglia Red with a Dark Saddle Brown vinyl interior. Features include rebuilt 350 V8, automatic transmission, cold AC, power steering, power brakes, T-tops, and believed to only have 68,068 original miles. You’ll turn heads in this beautiful red Corvette with chrome bumpers (1972 was the last year for chrome bumpers at both front and rear, the vacuum actuated pop-up windshield wiper door, as well as the removable rear window common to all 1968-72 coupes). The C3 is the third generation of the Chevrolet Corvette, and marks the second time the Corvette would carry the Stingray name, though only for the 1969 - 1976 model years. This time it was a single word as opposed to Sting Ray as used for the 1963 - 1967 C2 generation. The name would then be retired until 2014 when it was re-introduced with the release of the C7.

Description:

Offered for sale in our Dallas-Fort Worth showroom is this 1949 GMC ¾ Ton Pickup. This special Advance Design pickup has come a long way from its early life on a Mid-Missouri farm. Owned and restored by Dale Jacobs of Dallas, Texas, this 1949 GMC ¾ ton has been down to the frame and came out just a little nicer than new. It’s the old story. It looked very nice and ran just as well but a little extra touch would make it a nicer pickup. Well, the more he got into areas, the more he saw things that just were not quite right. After all it was a farm work truck for so many years. Before long you are tired of seeing so many imperfections, you check your bank account, and say “Let’s just make it a new truck”. It will only take time and money! It was taken down to the bare frame (the easiest part) and the building of the oversize model kit begins. This four-year “frame off” TOTAL restoration project of this “numbers matching” GMC ¾ ton pickup involved doing much research, making local new restoration contacts, and learning so much about early GMC’s. The “Ron Kelly Designs” complete rebuild of this original drivetrain and chassis included the GMC 228 engine long block (.08 over rebore), head, flywheel, clutch, 4-speed on the floor transmission with “granny” gear, drive shaft and rear end, all dynamically balanced. Modifications to improve performance include full-flow oil filtering, dual 2-barrel Stromberg carburetors adaptation to original intake manifold with new linkage, and Fenton dual exhaust headers with custom muffler routing. Dale’s ¾ ton has the optional 17” split rim wheels instead of the stock 15”. (These were original on the 1 ton pickup of these years). The extra 2” gives the truck a higher top end speed and lowers the engine RPM. Good during daily in-town driving. Another very unique fixture is the intake manifold. The original single barrel carburetor intake center hole was blocked off. Then front and rear carburetor receiver openings were installed to hold a pair of two-barrel Stromberg’s. It operates excellent and is probably the only one of its kind in the world! What an eye catcher! He says it easily cruises at almost 70 mph! The chassis rebuild involved frame powder coating, front and rear spring leafs with helpers, Delco lever arm shocks, duel master cylinder brake system, front end and steering linkage with drive box. The electrical system conversion to 12 volts included the original Delco starter and generator, regulator, new Mallory dual point distributor and coil, new wiring harness, 4 corner lighting with halogen headlights and turn signaling. A new water pump, radiator with expansion cylinder and hoses improve the cooling system. All body panels were COMPLETELY disassembled and, along with the cab, subjected to a strip and de-rust total immersion process. Reassembly with new fasteners was preceded by extensive applications of epoxy and urethane primers and initial custom lacquer paint then followed by final lacquer paint and clear coatings. Cab restoration involved new door handles, hinges and panels, headliner with insulation, sun visors, gauge cluster and speedometer, vintage GMC reproduction stereo AM/FM radio and 7 new glass windows allowing a surround view. The air flow heater with control valve and defroster ducts, vacuum wiper motor with linkage, fuel tank with new sender, and all pedal controls were also restored to original specifications. Traversing seat with era appropriate new upholstery allows comfort with a vintage signature. Firewall, roof, floor and doors all received sound deadening applications. Finishing touches include the re-chromed original grill, badging, radiator fan and added dual trumpet horns. Color coordinated powder coated engine side and valve covers enhance the engine bay. Also evident are new bumpers with valences, vintage Unity spot and fog lights, chromed fuel tank linkage, and powder coated original split rim wheels with new 750-17 tires. An eye-catching top grade oak bed and side rails with stainless linings and fasteners complete this classic restoration. To view this special 1949 GMC ¾ Ton Pickup in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For more information please call the Dallas-Fort Worth Showroom at 817-310-9400 or email at dallas@gatewayclassiccars.com.

Fords F series pickups were always a great seller in its class, but this sixth generation of pickups was a milestone in that it became the best-selling truck in America and has yet to give up that title to this day. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is excited to offer this stylish 1968 Chevrolet C-10 pick up truck. This beautiful C-10 has been completely redone and is perfect for any collection. This 1968 Chevrolet C-10 was repainted back to its factory Gold color in 2009 and it turns heads more now than it did new. The Chevy small block V8 with a 4-bolt main has less than 2,000 since it was rebuilt and has many upgrades. Billet Aluminum oil pan and valve covers reduce weight and look stylish when you pop the hood open. The Heads were redone, upgraded to a midsized cam, 100-amp alternator, and even a 4-barrel Edelbrock Carb have been added to this engine. The power brakes and modern disc brakes in the front add to the driving quality of this C-10. The Turbo 400 automatic has been rebuilt about 5 years ago and is steady at highway speeds. When you turn the key of this pick up, it not only fires right up but has a pure sound with its upgraded duel exhaust. This truck is perfect for taking to shows and even as a daily driver with its posi rear end and power steering. If you are looking for the classic truck look but want something that you can just hop in and start cruising, this is the perfect example. A new, more modern look came in 1967, along with a new nickname: Action Line. It was with this revision of the C/K truck that General Motors began to add comfort and convenience items to a vehicle line that had previously been for work purposes alone. The majority of 10 series and some 20 series Chevrolet trucks from 1967 to 1972 were equipped with a coil spring trailing arm rear suspension, which greatly improved the ride over traditional leaf springs. However, the leaf spring rear suspension was still available on those trucks, and standard on 30 series trucks. GMC-branded trucks came standard with leaf springs in the rear, with the coil spring/trailing arm design optional. All 2-wheel drive trucks came with independent front suspension, while 4x4s used a conventional solid axle with leaf springs. This 1968 Chevrolet C-10 is up for sale in our Tampa Showroom and can be viewed in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information, please call our knowledgeable staff at (813)645-6200 or email us at Tampa@GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this beautiful, one of a kind resto-mod, a 1955 Chevrolet 2nd series 3600 3/4 Ton truck. The word restored is tossed around rather regularly in the classic car space, but in this case, it is properly used describing this truck. This is not a repainted truck with an engine swap, this truck has been fully disassembled, re-plated, refinished, and rebuilt to make this truck better than it was when it rolled off the assembly line. The idea for this truck originally was to set up the truck to pull a 1955 Airstream trailer, and it has been engineered to do so with ease. It could easily be used for similar purposes like towing a vintage boat, hauling a vintage race car, or even driven as a mobile billboard. In 1955, the 2nd series was offered as a 7 or 9 bed; however, this 1955 body sits on a 1971 Chevrolet C20 frame assembly. 1971 was the first year that Chevrolet offered front wheel disc brakes on its pickups. The C20 would have had an 8 bed, so this is truly a unique build in the most literal sense - 1 of 1. It also sits on half ton coil springs for a better ride, and it can easily be converted to air suspension. With this set up this truck is absolutely one of a kind. Under the hood is a fully rebuilt 300 HP 350 CID V8 with 4 bolt main bearing caps. The 350 is backed by a highway-friendly 700R4 overdrive transmission, which will make long distance travel a breeze for this truck. The truck sports its original, but rebuilt, Dana 60 differential with 4.10 gear ratio. It also has C20 discs and rear drums to provide enhanced stopping power vs. its 1955 brethren. It is effectively a beautiful 55 truck on top, and a ‘71 C20 underneath. Being a Texas truck, this one has air conditioning and heat, so youll be prepared for any weather. Other goodies include Hooker headers, a full 2 ½” dual exhaust, a beautifully finished oak bed with stainless steel strips, and a 22 gallon fuel tank for the long hauls. The interior has been nicely appointed with gray vinyl upholstery on a Glide Custom Engineering seat with split back and arm rest. The truck has tinted glass, which is real smoked glass, not mere tint film. The instrument cluster has been rebuilt and this truck has all new American Auto Wiring harness with 21 circuits. It has a Retro Sound radio with AM/FM, USB, and 2 RCA ports. Overall this truck has all the comforts of a modern truck, with the look and feel of a classic.
