Description:

For sale in our Indianapolis showroom is this very original 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible. Do you want to be cruising around and hear people say What a beautiful car? If so, this is the car for you! This Mustang is a very nice clean convertible. Driven by the original numbers matching 351 CID Cleveland V-8 which was rebuilt and is mostly to factory specs other than a Comp Cam paired with a 3-speed automatic FMX transmission this Mustang rumbles. Only 11,853 1973 Ford Mustang Convertibles were made and under half of them were 8-cylinder cars. The exterior has a very good quality re-finish of the original factory Red color and a black power convertible top. The interior is a two-tone black and white vinyl high back front bucket seating with floor console shifter. This 1973 Ford Mustang for sale was originally a California car! Can you say clean!? Most of the changes for the 1973 Mustang were merely cosmetic. A large, square, chrome headlamp bezel appeared, as did chrome trim around the tail lights. A new, grained, black applique with bright trim was placed on the rear body panel between the tail lights. The 1973 Mustang convertible was to become the last Mustang convertible for many years. Options on this 1973 Ford Mustang Convertible for sale include: AM/FM radio, Cassette, Air Conditioning, automatic convertible top, power brakes, power steering, power windows, power locks, seat belts, vinyl interior, radial tires, and the vehicle is numbers matching. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Denver welcomes this 1959 Plymouth Suburban! In the late 50’s, Station wagons were growing in popularity, but would never match sedans in volume. So, there were certain compromises made over the years, by all manufacturers. Ford was known to sell Mercury wagons on the shorter Ford wheelbase, particularly in the Comet and Meteor series, and Oldsmobile, Buick and Pontiac Bonneville full size wagons all shared Chevrolets 119 inch wheelbase for a time (unlike the sedans and coupes on their 123.5 inch wheelbase). Chrysler reversed this. Preferring to maintain the exclusive nature of the Town & Country, the company based all wagons on the larger bodies and smoother suspensions of the senior divisions. This made it difficult for Plymouth to compete in price with Ford and Chevrolet, but did allow them to claim the roomiest wagon in the low-priced field. It also meant the wagons used many parts shared with Chryslers, DeSotos and Dodges, but not other Plymouths. The unique name meant Plymouth dealers were limited in liability; when a mechanic found his new torsion bar was inches too short to fit, he had no one but himself to blame for requesting a Belvedere part instead of a Sport Suburban part. Suburbans for 1958 were quite similar to those sold in 57, but with detail changes like an under-bumper grille and a V in the grille centre. The P-L-Y-M-O-U-T-H lettering was gone again, replaced by a hood emblem. The rear vision mirror mounted on the dash top moved off-centre over toward the drivers side. The old L-head six was still available (though not for too much longer) and there were now three Dual Fury V8s; 225 bhp, 250 bhp (4bbl) and 290 bhp (8bbl), as well as a 350cid Golden Commando option. Although based on the same body, 1959 Plymouth Suburbans featured an egg-crate grille and side trim changes, while the front bumper lost its raised centre section and larger tail lamps set the 58s apart from the rear. Don’t miss your opportunity to own a piece of real American Plymouth history in our Denver Showroom. It can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and a HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. All the power is pushed through a brand-new Performa Built level one-pro street 700 R4 GM transmission. A FTI 2800 stall convertor is installed in the transmission. A Moser 12 bolt rear end package with 373 gears and an Eaton posi unit will get the rear wheels smoking. The rear end package has approximately 4,000 miles since installed. This Aerocoupe is in exceptional condition inside and out, ready for car shows and cruising. With only about 49,000 original miles this amazing Monte Carlo SS wont last long. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars St. Louis is proud to have for sale this gorgeous 1961 Ford F100. This beauty has undergone a complete frame off restoration and is in great overall shape. The drivetrain was updated during the restoration to a much more modern system. The powerplant has been upgraded to a fuel injected 4.6L V8 and the transmission is a modern 5 speed manual. When you put a larger v8 in these old trucks, the steering can become a little heavy at times. To combat this issue, the trucks front suspension was upgraded to a mustang II suspension and a rack and pinion power steering system. The power steering paired with power brakes makes this truck easy to drive and the gearing from the modern transmission helps with those long highway cruises. Whether youre looking for a show car, fun weekend cruiser, or even a daily driver, this truck will fit the bill. Call us today to learn more about the details. Description:

We are excited to offer this very-well restored Red and White 1953 GMC 5-Window Deluxe for sale at our Gateway Classic Cars Showroom in Dallas This classic pick-up truck doesnt need any work. It is ready to enjoy today and priced to sell immediately. BACKGROUND: Beginning in 1920, GMC and Chevrolet trucks became largely similar, built as variants of the same platform, sharing much the same body sheet-work, except for nameplates and grilles though their differences, especially engines, have varied over the years. GMC advertising marketed its trucks to commercial buyers and businesses, whereas the Chevys targeted private ownership. From 1939 to 1974 GMC had its own line of six-cylinder engines, first the inline sixes known as Jimmys from 1939 to 1959 (source: Wikipedia). This particular GMC truck has an easy to start and fun to drive 228 Inline Straight Six. It is still being driven by a 4-speed manual transmission on the floor. It has a powered by you steering and braking and only a few thousand miles after the rebuild. The current owner is its second post-rebuild. One of the best reasons to be interested in this 1953 GMC Truck is how unique this color scheme is. The exterior body has been painted in a Red that has maintained very good quality. The running boards fitted tight to the body and can withstand the pressure of body weight climbing in the truck. The dark cherrywood floor boards in the bed are in excellent condition and are a very attractive and distinguishing feature. The interior red and white Viynl seats complement the truck and provide a striking and unique color combination. There are no tears, stains, or odors in the exterior. • REBUILT GMC 228 CI 6 CYLINDER ENGINE • BORED 30 OVER WITH ZOLNER PISTONS • REBUILT SM 420 MANUAL 4-SPEED TRANSMISSION • FLOOR SHIFTER • FRESH BODY-OFF FRAME NUT AND BOLT RESTORATION • MEDIA BLASTED TRUCK AND FRAME • NEW WOOD BED • HEATER • NEW BRAKE SYSTEM • NEW MECHANICS • STAINLESS STEEL BOLTS • CONVERTED TO 12 VOLT In short, you have every reason to inquire further about this 1953 GMC 5-Window Deluxe by viewing it in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video of the car running and driving at our website - http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com. The model was a refresh of its predecessor, the Model 48 (itself based on the Model 40A), and was the companys main product. It was redesigned more thoroughly in 1941. At the start of production, it cost $850. The Ford Line bore several model numbers during this period: For domestic 1937 production in the United States Ford Model Numbers for 85 hp V-8 equipped cars was Model 78 and 60 hp V-8 cars was Model 74. This particular vehicle is a model 78 with equipped with a Flathead V8. The Garnett exterior really pops with its matching wheels. The brown interior is set up to take you down the road in style. Jump in and take yourself back to a time where vehicles had character as this one has a ton! Description:

This 1972 Volvo P1800 ES is for sale in our Louisville showroom. In recent years Volvo has been one of the major names in the luxury market leading in safety. The 80s and the 90s saw the major shift to safety while throwing sporty designs to the wayside. Go back a little further and youll find a gem of European styling in a sport wagon package: the P1800. For majority of the P1800s production it was made as a coupe, but for the last two years it was released as the P1800ES with a sport wagon design and only 8,077 were made total. This particular car rolled in with 29,200 original miles with its original Volvo B20 Fuel injected inline 4 cylinder mated to a buttery Volvo m40 4 speed manual transmission. The burgundy paint is smooth as glass with its black cloth and vinyl interior to match. This wagon is far from the land yacht that your mom drove you around in as a child, The Recaro bucket seats hold you in tight as this nimble sport machine grips the road in an aggressive yet refined manner. These cars are becoming harder and harder to find with values starting to climb. Dont miss out on a chance to own one of Volvos best builds!
