Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Detroit is proud to offer this 2002 Ford Thunderbird Convertible for sale. A clean retro-modern masterpiece penned from a legendary designer Jay Mays, this 2002 Ford Thunderbird is one incredibly sweet ride. Recalling the original first generation thunderbird in some key front and rear end design cues as well as in the overall proportion, the eleventh generation Thunderbird was manufactured at Fords Wixom Assembly Plant, sharing the Ford DEW platform with the Lincoln LS, Jaguar S-Type and XF. Though the Thunderbirds exterior styling was unique relative to the others, the instrument panel, steering wheel and other trim pieces were borrowed from Lincoln LS. The sole engine of the Thunderbird was a Jaguar-designed AJ-30 3.9 L DOHC V8, a short-stroke (85mm) variant of the Jaguar AJ-26 4.0 L V8, rated at 252 hp and 267 lb?ft of torque -- in combination with Fords 5R55N 5-speed automatic transmission. This example has been lovingly maintained and it shows. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is honored present this beautiful 1994 Jaguar XJS! This long, low, and wide 1994 Jaguar XJS coupe proves that a great design is timeless. Even 25+ years after it came off the ship from England, a well-respected life means this still looks like it should cost thousands $$$$ more than it does. The styling was allowed to mature, and the European-style headlights were finally added to give them a truly distinctive look. The long hood and the low-slung body were subtle hints at the companys sporting history. Plus, this earns its elegance in the details, like the flying buttress roof and the 15-inch lattice wheels. The Burgundy paint still retains a terrific factory shine - a sign that this Jaguar has been treated with respect for the last 26 years. In fact, averaging only 2,800 miles annually means this is a special occasions kind of car. Jaguars are one of the finest at blending old-world craftsmanship and top-grade materials. You see it on the taupe leather seats and real wood dash and center console. When you slip behind the wheel, you get big gauges, and the gear shift feels substantial in your hand. As expected from a car of this caliber there are plenty of desirable features, including a power front seats, power windows, power locks, driver airbag, heated seats, an anti-theft system, and the factory AM/FM/cassette stereo. Plus, R134a air conditioning keeps this luxury interior at your ideal comfort temperature. By 1994, the new 4.0-liter inline-six was the engine of choice because this fuel-injected multi-valve DOHC provided this car with the most advanced and refined power plant of the series. This original motor looks great in the engine bay, like many of the legendary long Jaguar blocks before it. The motor was shared with the XJ6 of the day, and the four-speed automatic transmission w/overdrive is borrowed from General Motors. This means you can maintain your levels of driving quality for decades to come without breaking the bank. But what really will attract you to this Jag is the feeling you get on the open road. The XJS runs on a fully independent suspension that has been built to balance luxury cruising with spirited driving. In fact, the famous Jaguar rear end has the rear disc brakes inboard for better weight distribution. Plus, theres also power steering, cruise control, and modern tires to really enjoy the grand tour. It is time to demand the finest from life even if you only have to pay a pittance. Call now! This 1994 Jaguar XJS is available from our Atlanta Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a very low-mile 2000 Chevrolet Corvette. This 2-owner C5 Corvette has less than 5,000 miles on the odometer! The Arctic White exterior paint still looks new, along with the plush black leather interior. Only 979 Corvette coupes were finished in the Arctic White paint in 2000, certainly a rarely seen and highly sought-after color. Sitting in the drivers seat of this C5 Corvette you are engulfed in comfort, the black leather interior looks and feels great. Powering this 2000 C5 is the awesome 5.7L LS1 V8 engine that produces 350 horsepower and is as reliable as they come. There is a reason Hot Rodders choose this engine as a powerplant for their builds, reliability, easy to work on, and the ability to add loads of power if so desired. A 4-speed, 4L60-E automatic transmission transfers the power to the pavement via Goodyear Eagle radials mounted to polished aluminum 5 spoke wheels. Options for this 2000 Chevrolet Corvette include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with Cassette Player, Targa Top, Cruise Control, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Locks, Power Seats, Power Windows, Power Seats, Seat Belts, Tilt Wheel, Keyless Entry, Driver/Passenger Airbag, Leather Interior, Anti-theft System, Anti-Lock Brakes, Traction Control, Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. Description:

Offered for sale by our Chicago showroom is this beautiful 2012 Chevrolet Camaro SS. Powered by the modern LS3 6.2L V8 making north of 400 horsepower with a buttery smooth 6-speed manual transmission, this Camaro launches like a rocket ship! The bright red paint is complemented by the black leather interior. With only one owner, the low mileage of just under 10,400 shouldnt be surprising. A clean Carfax helps show how well this Camaro was taken care of. Turn the key and feel the Camaro shake just a bit as the aluminum powerplant comes to life. A few blips of the throttle let you know this machine is serious. But for all of the power potential, cruising around town you would think theres no way this has over 400 ponies under the hood. This is much more sophisticated than the older generations. No bucking at low throttle driving, no heavy gas smell, just pleasant, pure driving. Stomp on that lout pedal, though, and realize that theres no way there is less than 400 horsepower! Options include Air-Conditioning (blows cold), AM/FM/CD, Cruise Control, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Locks, Power Seats, Power Windows, Anti-Lock Brakes, Tilt/Telescopic Steering Wheel, Traction Control, Power Mirrors, Seat Belts, Drivers and Passengers Airbag, Leather Interior, Alloy Rims with Radial Tires and a Limited Slip Rear Axle. For more information on this slick 2012 Chevrolet Camaro SS contact our Chicago showroom at 708 444-4488 or Chicago@GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Detroit is thrilled to offer this 1979 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 for sale. The Z28 was re-introduced, as a model and not an RPO, to the buying public in the spring of 1977 as a 1977½ in response to increasing sales of Pontiacs Trans Am, which sold over 46,000 units in 1976 and accounted for half of all Firebird sales that year. The revived Z28 was powered by a 350 cu in (5.7 L) V8 with four-barrel carburetor producing 185 hp (138 kW; 188 PS) (175 hp (130 kW; 177 PS) with California emissions equipment), with most cars sold equipped with air conditioning and an automatic transmission. In 1979 the Z28s now came with a front spoiler and fender flares much like its Pontiac Trans Am twin had, and now came with Z28 decals that ran from the beginning of the front flares to the bottoms of the doors. Electric rear window defroster became optional this year, replacing the old blower type. Sales for 1979 were the highest ever for any generation Camaro before or since, numbering 282,571 units. Powering this beast is believed to the be the original 350 CID V8, paired with the original Automatic transmission. Keeping it classic in the black exterior paint with gold decals, paired with black leather interior. This sleek, iconic looking vehicle is sure to turn heads pulling up at any car show or cruise in. Options on this 1979 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 are: Air Conditioning (not functioning), AM/FM Radio, Spare Tire, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Jack, Anti-Lock Brakes, Tilt Wheel, Seat Belts, Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this beautiful 2002 Ford Thunderbird! Ford restored a famous name to its lineup in 2002 with Thunderbird, a 2-seat convertible with retro styling cues. It was the first Thunderbird in five years--and the first T-bird convertible since 1966--sold surprisingly well out of the chute, claiming a solid 31,368 paying customers. For comparison, the same-year Chevrolet Corvette racked up 35,767 sales. Designed for relaxed cruising, the T-Bird was not offered with a sport suspension or an upgrade engine option. The standard powerplant was a 3.9-liter V8, which was a short-stroke version of the AJ-26 4.0-liter V8 available in the Jaguar. The T-Birds 3.9 was rated at 252 horsepower. Our pristine beauty all wrapped in black, appears new, inside and out, with only 22,633 miles on the odometer! With an extensive list of options, this t-bird is loaded to the roof with creature comforts! And speaking of loaded to the roof, you can even remove the port-holed-top for a no-top, convertible featuring a booted soft top. Standard features include antilock 4-wheel disc brakes, side airbags, 17-inch alloy wheels, and CD player! These iconic nods to the history books make for a perfect modern classic! Nothing on the road looks like these, and they are styled after some of the most legendary Fords! This 2002 Ford Thunderbird is offered by the St. Louis sales staff and can be seen in full detail on our website. Our listing all include 100+ HD photos and a detailed video! Description:

This 1933 Ford pickup is original Henry Ford steel cab that is straight with no signs of heavy filler used. The running boards and fenders are fiberglass but hard to tell unless you have a mag net. With them so smooth they appear as to be steel. The engine like most street rods is the powerful small block 350 with a 4-barrel carb sitting on top feeding the right amount of fuel on demand. Backed up by a th350 3 speed automatic transmission. Which turns the ford 9 rear end packed with a set of 3.73 gears allowing for the best of both worlds. Down low grunt and top end speed. Inside h bench seat has been covered in black vinyl with red inserts helping to bring the outside in. The ooogah horn is a great touch as well keeping with the 30s theme. The oak barrel is an ode to where the truck was built in Kentucky and with the trucks updated KIFS upfront it really handles those back roads nicely. The classic coca cola cooler is where the battery is housed which really is an innovative trick piece. The shiny wheels are a nice addition and give the truck a modern look. With some fat 295s on the back and 195s on the front. It gives the truck a very intimidating look well helping with the stance. The power brakes help to bring it down to a stop easily with minimal pressure on the pedal. Options on this 1933 Ford Pick up include Power Brakes, Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts, Aluminum Alloy Wheels wrapped with Radial Tires.
