Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this 1953 Ford Custom Line! This car is incredibly beautiful and has a nice drivetrain to go along with it. The smooth body panels were painted in Inferno Red Crystal Pearl which is a Dodge color used on late model Ram trucks. Engage the door poppers and slide inside the dreamy tan and red two-toned interior. This 1953 Ford Custom Line truly is everything in one package. IT is a hot rod, cruiser, show car, and much much more wrapped up into one slick package. Under the hood is a 302 V8 small block getting fed air and fuel through a Holley carburetor and aluminum intake with a Mustang cam thumping out to your choice of straight pipe exhaust to dual glass packs out the back. The transmission is a rebuilt 5 speed manual out of a Mustang and shifts smoothly through the gears. For convenience enjoy power steering, power brakes, vintage air kit blowing cold AC. Description:

Up for sale in our Tampa showroom is this sleek 1937 Ford Tudor. The Ford line of cars was updated in 1937 with one major change -- the introduction of an entry-level 136 CID (2.2 L) V8 in addition to the popular 221 CID (3.6 L) flathead V8. The model was a refresh of its predecessor, the Model 48 (itself based on the Model 40A), and was the companys main product. It was redesigned more thoroughly in 1941. At the start of production, it cost $850. The Ford Line bore several model numbers during this period: For domestic 1937 production in the United States Ford Model Numbers for 85 hp V-8 equipped cars was Model 78 and 60 hp V-8 cars was Model 74. This particular vehicle is a model 78 with equipped with a Flathead V8. The Garnett exterior really pops with its matching wheels. The brown interior is set up to take you down the road in style. Jump in and take yourself back to a time where vehicles had character as this one has a ton! With its 3 speed manual transmission and its flathead V8 this is the classic set up that was available during this time period. This vehicle will make an excellent canvas for the next owner to customize themselves. To see 100+ HD pictures and videos of this 1937 Ford Tudor visit GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

This 1972 Volvo P1800 ES is for sale in our Louisville showroom. In recent years Volvo has been one of the major names in the luxury market leading in safety. The 80s and the 90s saw the major shift to safety while throwing sporty designs to the wayside. Go back a little further and youll find a gem of European styling in a sport wagon package: the P1800. For majority of the P1800s production it was made as a coupe, but for the last two years it was released as the P1800ES with a sport wagon design and only 8,077 were made total. This particular car rolled in with 29,200 original miles with its original Volvo B20 Fuel injected inline 4 cylinder mated to a buttery Volvo m40 4 speed manual transmission. The burgundy paint is smooth as glass with its black cloth and vinyl interior to match. This wagon is far from the land yacht that your mom drove you around in as a child, The Recaro bucket seats hold you in tight as this nimble sport machine grips the road in an aggressive yet refined manner. These cars are becoming harder and harder to find with values starting to climb. Dont miss out on a chance to own one of Volvos best builds! To view this 1972 Volvo P1800 in greater detail, including an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Detroit is proud to offer a very unique and rare 1970 Mercury Marquis Convertible. As the horsepower wars started to wind down, the American automotive scene started to take a turn where vehicles were focused on personal luxury and style. This awesome land yacht is the lucky recipient of a nice restoration to make it extremely presentable and ready for topless cruises. There were only 1,233 of these produced and even less that have been preserved and pampered like this one. With only 2,000 miles since it was restored, this Marquis has plenty of cruising life left. The gorgeous Blue paint is clean, fresh, and flows nicely with the Beige leather interior. The interior is a leather instead of a vinyl and makes a difference in comfort and appeal. Under the large hood rests a potent 429CID V8 that pumps out enough torque to get this beauty rolling with ease. The vehicle does come with its original set of wheels and shiny set of chromes to change the look if that is what youre going for. The 1970 Marquis is an iconic convertible that you rarely see on the road. Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our Saint Louis Showroom is a first-year first-generation Ford Thunderbird painted in a rare Goldenrod Yellow with a white soft top, white hardtop with black and white two-toned interior. Powering this classic is a 292-cubic inch V8, the only available engine for 1955. This one is equipped with a manual 3 speed transmission and optional over drive. The over drive is a neat unit. Once in 3rd gear and youre ready, pull the T handle beneath the dash and youre in! Other equipment includes power seats, wide white wall radial tires and a white hardtop. To add some personal touches, the previous owner decided to paint the hard-top white as opposed to keeping it body color as the factory would have painted it. The soft top is also white which would have been black fabric from the factory. These personal touches give the car a unique look and help it stand out from other 55 Thunderbirds. This is easily reversible if someone chooses. Recent maintenance includes new tires, new clutch and a rebuilt carburetor. In 1955 Ford introduced the Thunderbird to knock a dent into Corvette sales. Ford accomplished this with flying colors. 1955 Corvette production reached 700 units compared to Fords whopping 16,155! Chevrolet needed some serious help if they were going to save the Corvette. Eventually, Ford decided to lean more towards the luxury side and away from the performance side that the Corvette was pursuing. The Thunderbird has had a long and interesting run over the years. However, theres no mistaking the first run of the 1955 through 1957 T-Birds. They are the most collectible of any Thunderbird and will always be the most collectible. These hard and soft top equipped Thunderbirds are very cool, giving you the coupe and convertible feel all in one car. Call our Saint Louis showroom for more information on this early T-bird at 618-271-3000 or email STL@gatewayclassiccars.com. To view HD photos and video, visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com

Description:

For sale in our Chicago showroom is this incredible 1989 Pontiac Trans Am Turbo 20th Anniversary. Pontiac sure got it right with this version of the Trans Am. With a unique Turbocharged 3.8 Liter V6 shared with the Buick Grand National, this Bird is ready to go! Pontiac under-rated these boosted T/As at 250 HP and 345 lb ft of torque. These super sixes could get to 60mph in 4.6 seconds and through the 1/4 mile in 13.4 seconds. A few minor modifications make this ‘Bird a fair amount quicker, and you are sure to be surprised at what it can do! It is rumored that this was the first pace car that needed no performance modifications in order to keep up. They simply installed a light bar and the communication equipment and got it out on the track. This particular example is a well maintained 3 owner car with only 24,569 miles. This car has a larger-diameter stainless steel exhaust which sounds incredible. The vehicle drives as tightly as youd expect for such a low mileage vehicle. The white paint is in great shape as well as the tan leather interior. It sports the OEM desirable “Honey comb wheels in gold, which show wonderfully. This modern classic is a collectible as well as a great car to drive. The handling performance is enthralling and the rush of the turbo is exhilarating. Hold on tight when driving this turbo-bird! With plenty of power on tap at the rear wheels of this powerful Pontiac, and being such a low-mileage example, this Firebird is going to keep you smiling for a long time! Options include: AM/FM Radio, Spare Tire, T-Tops, Cruise Control, Power Steering, Power Locks, Power Windows, Tilt Wheel, Power Mirrors, Leather Interior, and a Positraction rear axle. For more information on this incredible 1989 Pontiac Firebird Trans-Am 20th Anniversary Edition Pace Car, contact our Chicago showroom at (708) 444-4488 or Chicago@GatewayClassicCars.com.
