Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Denver welcomes this 1993 Z28 Camaro (Indianapolis 500 Pace car edition! The fourth generation of the Camaro was produced by American automobile manufacturer Chevrolet for the 1993 through 2002 model years. It was introduced on an updated F-body platform, but would retain the same characteristic since the first-generations introduction back in 1967; 2-doors, 2+2 seating, coupe (with optional T-top roof) or convertible body styles, rear-wheel drive, and a choice of pushrod V6 and V8 power plants. The Camaro was refreshed and revised in 1998 with both exterior and engine changes. The fourth-generation of the Camaro would continue production up to the 2002 model year when General Motors discontinued production due to slow sales, a deteriorated sports coupé market, and plant overcapacity. The production was moved from GMs Van Nuys, California assembly plant to Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec, Canada from November 1992. The new design incorporated sheet moulding compound (SMC) made from chopped fiberglass and polyester resin for the roof, hatch, doors, and spoiler.[8] Both the front and rear suspension design was improved over its predecessor. The base models were powered by a 160 hp (119 kW) 3.4 L pushrod V6 engine equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission as standard. The 4-speed 4L60 automatic transmission was optional. All models came with a red Chevrolet Bowtie on the grille. 1993 was the only year interior instruments had yellow lettering (this is one way to tell the 1993 models from the 1994 which had white interior instrument lettering). (Z28 Models) The high performance Z28 model came with rectangular dual exhaust tips to distinguish it from the base models. The Z28 featured the 5.7 L pushrod LT1 V8 engine having a power output of 275 hp (205 kW) and 325 lb?ft (441 N?m) of torque that had been introduced on the Corvette one year earlier. The V8 engine came standard with a 4L60 automatic transmission, although the Borg-Warner T56 six-speed manual transmission was a no cost option. In 1993, the Camaro Z28 was selected as the official pace car for the Indianapolis 500. A special pace car edition trim was introduced in the same year and featured Indy 500 lettering on black and white body color scheme with multicolored pinstriping and white painted wheels. 633 units were made Don’t miss your opportunity to own a piece of real General Motors Company Muscle Car history in our Denver Showroom. Description:

For sale in our Chicago showroom is this absolutely stunning 1986 Ford Mustang GT Convertible. Powered by the original 43k mile 5.0l H.O. V8 with some tasteful upgrades and backed by a rebuilt AOD 4-speed automatic transmission. The long block is stock Ford, but almost everything bolted to the block has been changed out. BBK is sprinkled methodically around the engine, including a cold air intake, 65mm throttle body, equal-length headers, and a 190lph fuel pump. The intake manifold is a Trick Flow unit, and the electric water pump is made by CSR. Giving the voice to this burly 302 is a catless H-pipe. Power is no good without traction, so to keep the wheels from helplessly spinning, a set of 90/10 Lakewood struts were installed paired up with Strange Engineering 10-way adjustable shocks. The unibody on these Fox mustangs are known to twist, so to keep that from happening a set of frame connectors have been welded in, the torque boxes were welded and reinforced, and the rear control arms were replaced with aftermarket units to deflect less and keep the power going to the wheels. Sitting at all 4 corners are Weld Wheel Draglites with Mickey Thompson rubber. This ‘Stang means business! Once inside the cabin, you will notice the Flaming River steering column, a definite upgrade from factory, a set of Autometer gauges to keep tabs on the engine RPMs as well as the water temp. You can feel the 3500 stall converter flash up when you lay on the gas and the 8.8 rear axle with all new internals spins the 4.10 gears and rockets you from a stop. This is one serious street car! With all these upgrades on an already clean 86, this is as good as it gets! Options include: AM/FM/Cassette, Power Convertible Top, Spare Tire & Jack, Lumbar Support, Power Brakes, Tilt Wheel, Seats Belts, Cloth Interior, Racing Wheels, and a Posi Traction Rear Axle. For more HD photos and an HD video of this vehicle running and driving, please visit www.GatewayClassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to offer this beautiful and very rare 1953 Buick Skylark Convertible for sale in our Orlando Showroom. The Skylark was brand-new in 1953; its name was chosen to celebrate Buicks 50th anniversary. This stunning automobile was based on Buicks experimental sports car, the XP-300, which created a huge amount of excitement in 1952. The 1953 Skylark was one of the most expensive cars in Buicks lineup and today is a bona fide collectors item. Built only as a convertible and based on the Roadmaster drivetrain, these were the cars of the stars. The sole engine for the Skylark was an all-new Fireball 322 CID V8 with 188 horsepower. New for 1953, too, was the use of the new 12-volt electrical system. The only transmission used in the Skylark was a Twin Turbine Dynaflow, which was an updated version of the original, introduced in 1948. The Twin Turbine debuted in 1953 and used a four-element torque converter featuring two turbines interconnected through a planetary gear set. This setup gave a more positive connection between the engine and the driveshaft. Options on this amazing 1953 Buick Skylark Convertible for sale include Power steering, power brakes, leather interior, AM Radio, and Wire Wheel with wide whitewall tires. If you want a show-stopping classic, then call today! This is the one you want to own. Call today it wont last long. Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1961 Chevrolet Impala Bubbletop. 1961 saw the first year of the third generation for the successful Impala. The new design was trimmer and boxier than its predecessor. While there were a few different trims for 1961 what we have here is the sport coupe which offered a thin rear roof pillar and an oversized rear window. In time this is what enthusiasts would come to call the bubbletop. Highly sought after by collectors for their design and value, these specific Impalas are easily identified and turn heads everywhere! This fine example upon approach you are dazzled with light glinting off the chrome and fresh silver paint. The stance of this car! The rims with the red line tires really set the car off. No matter the angle, front to back you can easily see the time and care that went into the build. Under the hood 2 -4-barrel carbs sit atop a 409ci V8 X-block from 1963. Mated to that is a Muncie 4-speed manual transmission. Only 8 miles on it since it was finished! That is not a typo. The build is extensive, here are some highlights: Solid Lifter Cam, Ride Tech Suspension, Vintage Air, MSD Distributor, Hooker Headers, Custom Exhaust, Aluminum Radiator, and Wilwood 6 piston 4-wheel disc brakes. And there is a lot more. All receipts included, easily 100 of them in a case. This car was one of the few that was roped off at the 2020 Street Rod Nationals! Solidifies the caliber of car you are considering here. Options on this car include: Air Conditioning, CD Player, Power Steering, Seat Belts, and Aluminum Wheels. This 1961 Chevrolet Impala is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

We invite you to turn your attention to this perfectly crafted 1966 Chevrolet C10, which has enjoyed a completed frame-off restoration in 2018. It only has 3,024 odometer miles, and 2,300 of them were put on it during the 2018 Hot Rod Power Tour. BACKGROUND: The first-generation Chevrolet C10 (1960-1966) was launched in the fall of 1959 as a new body style of a light pick-up truck that featured many firsts. This restored 1966 Chevrolet C10 has new, show-quality Mandarin Orange Metallic paint. The body condition underneath isn’t hiding any flaws – it has new metal in the floor, cab corners, rockers, and roof skin. The body lines and gaps are what you’d expect for a truck of this quality. It has been sealed inside and out with a bed liner spray. The hood, fenders, inner fenders have all been treated with rust inhibitor. In addition, a hidden latch has been installed on the new bed and tailgate. Other new items on this truck are the Optima battery, windshield, rear window, side windows with vent, door handles, gas tank (relocated to the rear) with billet fill door, fuel lines, aluminum radiator, aluminum transmission cooler, all LED lights, complete wiring, mirrors with LED turn signals, grill, cam bearings and freeze out plugs, rod and main bears, melling oil pump, high torque starter, flex plate & damper, aluminum heads 64CC/202SS, 1.5 roller rockers, 750 quick fuel carburetor, aluminum air cleaner, aluminum water neck, chrome timing cover & oil pan, 65000 volt HEI distributor, aluminum V belt pulleys, aluminum air condition bracket w/508 sanders compressor, aluminum power steering bracket & pulley w/chrome power steering pump, and all new synthetic fluids. The interior is styled with new two-tone saddle leather. Also new are the seats, seat belts, one-touch power windows, upholstery, dash components, carpet, headliner, door panels, and sun visors. The instruments are Dolphin gauges. A custom dash has been installed to incorporate the gauges, A/C vents and controls. The custom console has stainless cup holders and a new Sony touch screen head unity with 6.5” speakers that sound incredible. Sound deadeners have been added upon the new carpet. Old Air brand air conditioning blows a cold 43 degrees. Underneath the hood is a new 383 crate motor with a cast iron block, aluminum heads and intakes. It has a Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection system, billet aluminum pulley set and chrome A/C pump and alternator. The headers are hooked to a 3” diameter stainless exhaust and has magnaflow mufflers and turndowns in front of the rear axle. The transmission is a new Monster brand 700R4 overdrive transmission with a very mild 2200 stall converter. A one-piece drive shift connects to the rebuilt stock 3.73 rear axle with a billet cover, which is the correct gearing for this package. The rest of the drivetrain and suspension has been rebuilt and all in perfect condition. It has a 12 Bolt Rear POSI end and 3.73 gear ratio. This 1966 Chevrolet C10 is an original short bed, 115” wheelbase truck, not a cut down long bed. It has been lowered 4 inches in the front and 6 in the rear. The frontend has CPP upper and lower control arms, lowering spindles, shocks and sway bar. The CPP turnbuckle steering arms connects the close-ration power steering box to the wheels. The rear has CPP trailing arms, shocks, sway bar, C-channnel and shock relocators. It is a coil spring rear end. The tires and wheels are chrome Ridler 650 and 20” front and rear Falken tires. As you can see in the video, this truck handles great and rides very smooth for a short bed lowered truck. The brakes are Wilwood disc only all four wheels with a larger 14” fronts and 12” rear. Wilwood manual master cylinder with an adjustable proportional valve and all new stainless lines throughout. The parking brake has also been built with all new components. Description:

This 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is now for sale in the Milwaukee Showroom here at Gateway Classic Cars. While the Mustang was looked at as the most popular model sports car among Fords lineup, there were many iterations of it that set some of the sub models apart as being truly special in terms of performance and value. The Mach 1 while being its own sub model Mustang, offered a few engine options of its own as well as transmissions to combine. This Mustang features a 428 cubic inch Cobra Jet V8 providing plenty more power over the 351 cubic inch option that was offered in the Mach 1 of this time. The V8 is topped by the iconic looking shaker hood that dons the “Cobra Jet lettering on the side in shiny chrome letters. The V8 is bolted to a 4-speed manual transmission. Going around this beauty it will become more than evident to any onlookers that there are next to no examples of a Mustang at this age is this great of shape. The dark red paint, which is tastefully contrasted with black color in the interior, constantly shows that this car is ready for a show at almost any time and is about as close to “trailer queen condition as you can get a car. The factory blue paint on the engine block still shows having a glossy finish showing that this car was meticulously looked after. Basically, if you were to build a model of a car, and blow it up to being life size, you get this car. You will not find much to any Mustang Mach 1 comparable to this car out in the world, so the opportunity to own this beautifully maintained example should not be squandered. This 1969 Ford Mustang Mach 1 is at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video. Description:

Gateway classic cars of Nashville is proud to digitally present this 1941 Willys Coupe Tribute. This incredible Tribute to the Iconic 1941 Willys coupe is anything but bashful. Painted a bright Orange that is called “look at me orange” well, that is what I would have called it. Featuring realistic flames worked into the paint this is one hot car. Now I do not normally spend a lot of time on paint jobs in the write ups that I do, but this one deserves a chapter or two. I know you have seen the photos but trust me, they do not do this car justice. Now, under the hood, wow, just WOW. The engine outshines the paint. A 468 Cubic inch big block that has a huge BDS® blower with two quick fuel® double pumper 4 barrels sitting on top. With this set up I am sure it gets about 4 or 5 gallons to the mile but who’s counting? Now I have receipts from Ed Wasserbeck’s speed shop with just about every part and the machining of the other parts, for the sake of room lets just say Manley ® Eagle®, Cloyes® Comp cam® just to drop a few names. This engine is right! Backing this beast is a Chevrolet turbo 400 3 speed that is controlled with an air-controlled push button shifter. None other than a Ford 9” would do in a built like this and you might expect a set of 4.88:1 gears but you would be wrong as this car has a very streetable set of 2.73 gears. This car was built to take top honors at the most prestigious shows and in fact came very close to the coveted Ridler, top 16 in fact! Look, not one corner cut, not one trick missed. This is one serious car. Options for this 1941 Wilys coupe tribute include: Power steering, Power brakes, Leather interior and racing wheels. This 1941 Wilys coupe can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD photos at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our Houston showroom is this all metal Über-custom 1937 Ford 78 Coupe. This multiple-award winning custom is an amazing example of the combined talents of a number of the top names in the custom street rod world. It has its own name, even; having been dubbed Grand Larsony as a tribute to its owner, who found it in a barn in Colorado back in 1984. He found it in fully operational condition, and with only 9965 miles on the clock, he could tell that it had great potential to be restored to its original glory. However, its new owner had a vision that went far beyond a mere restoration. He began with reaching out to Darrell Mayabb, who was contracted to come up with a design that would incorporate what a 37 Ford would look like with a 39 Deluxe front end, a 40 hood, a 48 rear window, and a lethal dose of chop, channel, section, and shave, all rounded and smoothed into one cohesive bad-axe rod. From Darrell’s concept design, it then went to Donn Lowe, of Lowes Customs, where it was all brought together into a one-piece body, all steel and leaded, and wrapped in the paint scheme that Darrell Mayabb cooked up. It hit the streets in Oct 1988 at the Lake Havasu City “Run to the Sun”, where it was a top ten award winner in its first event; and it has never looked back, grabbing attention and awards at outings around the country. In due time, “Grand Larsony” spent time with Boyd Coddington’s American Hot Rods for a paint update, new interior, and drivetrain. The new paint was masterfully laid down by Charley Hutton, and the interior was given a completely new full custom leather interior by Gabe’s. This work of art now represents the best of these creative masters. Since its refresh, Grand Larsony has rubbed shoulders with the best: it was featured at the Hot Rod Homecoming event in Pomona, California in 2013, honoring its 1990 Hot Rod magazine feature. It later appeared on Wayne Carinis show, “Chasing Cars” in the Tribute to Boyd Coddington episode.
