Description:

This 1964 Ford Galaxie 500XL Convertible is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Galaxie name was used on Fords full-size cars from 59 to 61 to try and cash in on the excitement of the space race. Starting in 1962 they added the 500 and 500 XL to the name plate in order to denote its top of the line cars. Competing head to head with Chevrolets Impala SSs, the full-size convertible market was very tough but the Fords held their own all the way to 1974 when the line was finally discontinued. This beauty is a great example of what the 60s were all about. The body of the car is extremely straight and is believed to be retaining its original panels. The Skylight Blue paint looks like glass and is probably nicer than when she left the factory. The black vinyl top looks great but let’s face it this car is all about top down fun. Especially when they see whats under the hood. This numbe4rs matching 390 is one of the most sought-after engines for 1964. Backed by a 4 speed transmission this Galaxie screams 1960’s. The inside of this big block drop top is one of the nicest I have seen. The dark blue is a great contrast against the light blue exterior. The bucket seats are separated by a center console with the 4-speed shifter right where it should be. All in all, this 64 is a great example of a 500XL that can be driven as much as you care to drive it. This 390 500XL only has 1000 miles since the restoration and is ready for the next owner to turn the key and smash the gas. Options on this 1964 Ford Galaxie 500XL Convertible include, AM/FM, Power Steering, Power Brakes Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Powered Convertible Top, Wire Wheel Hub Caps and White Wall Radial Tires. This 1964 Ford Galaxie 500XL Convertible is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For additional information please call our knowledgeable staff at (812)294-1555 or email us at Louisville@GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is an awesome “Big Window” 1956 Ford F100. This big window Ford is finished in a beautiful shade of Ruby Red paint that features a bit of metallic flake and creates gorgeous shimmer in the sunlight. Powering this classic F100 is a 292 CID Y Block V8 engine, that is very similar to what would have been in the truck when it was bought new in 1956. Upgrades to the 292 V8 include headers, a Holley carburetor, and a chrome air cleaner. A 3-Speed manual transmission transfers the power to the rear end via column shift, yup a true “3 on the tree” just like it was meant to be. The lowered stance is achieved by new leaf springs that have been lowered 3” and the new aluminum/alloy wheels, and radial tires. A new solid Oak floor in the bed provides a nice contrast to the Ruby Red paint and an overall awesome look to the truck. New Chrome bumpers shine proudly in the front and rear, while the new dual exhaust provides a nice sound to the 292 Y Block. The interior has been kept basic, with new vinyl upholstery on the bench seat and new carpet on the floor. By keeping it basic, the original feel and appearance has been kept intact to appreciate the simplicity. Adding modern amenities can easily be done if so desired. The odometer reads 18,605, but the actual mileage is unknown. Options for this 1956 Ford F100 included: Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. These Big Window Fords are becoming more and more popular, creating a demand, which in turn helps the value rise. This is a great example of one that has been kept fairly stock, the new owner can leave it as is or add one piece at a time to make it their own. To view this 1956 Ford F100 in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis Showroom. Description:

For sale in our Louisville Showroom is a 1968 Ford Mustang in Seafoam Green! Upon its debut in 1965, the Ford Mustang was Ford’s most successful launch since the Model A. This iconic machine essentially created the term “Pony Car” and has been influencing the sports car market ever since its birth. It was only anticipated that Ford would sell less than 100,000 Mustangs upon its arrival into the automotive world. They out did those projections by just a few to say the least. Producing over 1 million Mustangs in the first 18 months of production due to the enormous demand. The inside is a very clean, vinyl interior that is equipped with ivy gold bench seats and a floor shifter which sets off this Mustang perfectly, power steering, power brakes with factory front disc brakes, seat belts, rally wheels wrapped in radial tires. This Mustang has more than enough power to get you moving down any road. It is equipped with the original 289 Cubic Inch V8 that has 5000 miles on the recent rebuild and provides a very satisfying rumble as soon as you start this pristine Pony. This potent V8 is matted to a C-4 3 Speed automatic transmission that effortlessly shifts through gears allowing this Mustang to reach cruising speeds with ease. This year was also the first where factory front disc brakes were included! Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is excited to offer this 1967 Mustang Hardtop for sale in our Indianapolis showroom. This 1967 Mustang is a true S code car with a 390 cubic inch V8 and 4 speed transmission with 16,128 miles since restoration. The included Marti report indicates that this car was built at San Diego on 11/11/1966. The window sticker, also with the car, includes the GT equipment group, limited-slip differential, courtesy light group, console, deluxe steering wheel, power steering, Selectaire conditioner, AM radio and tinted glass. The following is from an article on Hagerty.com: “Frequently overlooked by the scrum chasing mighty Cobra Jets and K-Code 289s is the 390-cid S-Code Mustang, produced with little fanfare in 1967-69. That relative lack of collectors’ attention may well make S-Code Mustangs the market’s unsung hero. Although the 390-inch V-8 is roughly 165 pounds heavier than the thin-wall 289, its good breathing produced impressive output: up to 325 horsepower and 427 pound-feet of torque. That’s within spitting distance of the 428 Cobra Jet’s 335 hp and 440 lb-ft (spitting distance being 3.7 percent fewer horses and 3.0 percent less torque, assuming Ford’s rating methods for both engines were consistent). Their low profile in the market has resulted in values that are steady, less subject to whims of fad and fashion. The 390 was based on the FE-series V-8s introduced in 1958 for Thunderbirds and Edsels. The FE-series persisted well into the 1970s, installed in everything from pickups to Cammer-powered drag cars and Le Mans-winning GT40s. It began flexing its muscle in the redesigned 1967 Mustang’s wider engine compartment.” To view this beautiful 1967 Mustang, please visit our site at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call 317-688-1100, or email us at indy@gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

1965 Mustang base model with 6 cylinder 200cid. It is partially restored and has been sitting in my garage for the last 15 years.

It is in running condition and I take it out periodically for a ride just around the neighborhood. I painted it recently but Im not a pro painter so its not exactly perfect but looks pretty good from 10 feet away.

The frame is straight and has some surface rust but is solid. It had some body work done before I purchased it and you can see some waves along the top of the left rear quarter panel. Otherwise the body is in very good condition. The side mirrors and front bumper have been replaced with aftermarket ones. The shock towers were replaced and are solid. The entire floor pan was also replaced.

Brake master cylinder, wheel cylinders, rubber hoses and most of the steel brake lines have been replaced. I replaced the points with a pertronix module. The carburetor has been replaced with an improved design replacement from pony carburetors.

The cloth/vinyl seats have some wear especially on the cloth sections. The vinyl sections are in very good condition with the exception of a tear on the top of the back seat where it meets the package tray. The radio was replaced a long time ago with an AM/FM cassette player. The speakers have also been replaced front and rear. I have the original am radio but it is not working. The door side panels are new aftermarket and look good. The headliner has also been replaced.

Other new parts installed include: fuel pump, spark plug wires, starter relay, alternator harness, ignition coil, muffler, door sill plates, e-brake handle and steering wheel.

The engine runs good but is a little loud because the back manifold flange on the cylinder head is broken. However I have a completely rebuilt cylinder head which comes with the car and is ready to be installed.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is thrilled to house this 1972 Buick Riviera in our Scottsdale Arizona showroom located in North Phoenix. This generation of Riviera, which were produced from 1971 to 1973, are well-remembered for their ‘boat-tail’ styling and from the fastback rear window it is almost like looking at a bloated split window C2 Corvette. Similarly, from the front this Rivy will remind you of Cadillac Eldorados from the same era. This Riviera has it all in terms of aesthetics. This is literally the definition of a land yacht at over 215inches long and walking to the hood from the trunk will feel like going on a day hike. Our Riviera for sale presents itself stunningly in a Silver Mist paintjob with a green vinyl roof that isn’t overbearing unlike some of the vinyl and landau tops out there but gives this car just enough 70’s vibe to stand out. Inside, white leather and contemporary gauges will meet your eyes and the dash even stretches out in the same boat-tail shape as the rear end. Powering this enormous car is an equally large, numbers matching (as claimed by the seller) 455 CID V8 that fills the entire engine compartment- and that takes some effort in a car with as much space as this Buick has. Backing the engine is a 3-speed automatic transmission with the OEM shifter located in the center console. Our 1972 Buick Riviera for sale includes the following options: Seat Belts, Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio, Cruise Control, Leather Interior, Power Brakes/Steering, Power Seats/Windows and a Tilt Wheel. Every boat-tail Riviera we have ever had has barely been with us more than a few days because of the popularity of these cars. They may have been controversial back in the day, but collectors can’t get enough of these boat-tail Rivys now! Don’t let your guard slip on this one and call our helpful and knowledgeable Sales team in Scottsdale today at (623) 900-4884 or shoot us an email directly at scottsdale@gatewayclassiccars.com See more photos and videos at: http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/366/SCT/1972-Buick-Riviera

Description:

For sale in our Nashville show room is this red hot 1932 Chevrolet Sedan street rod! In 1932 the Great Depression was marching on and across town Ford was cranking out the brand new 1932 Fords sporting a ground breaking V8 engine. This caused sales to slump for the young Chevrolet company who was still using the inline 6-cylinder stove bolt motor, causing the 1932 Chevrolet BA Confederate Sedan to be produced in far lower numbers. Today that works to your advantage if you’re a bowtie fan that want’s something nobody else has! Oh, and don’t worry about that stove bolt inline-6, it’s been ditched in favor of the venerable small block Chevrolet V8 with a displacement of 400 cubic inches! This 1932 Chevrolet has a striking interior with leather and ostrich skin on the seats and the door panels, windows are power, the overhead console holds the cd player, the custom rear package tray sports new speakers, the driver has an adjustable tilt wheel to make driving more comfortable and can access all gears from the lokar shifter, and there are new mag wheels and performance radial tires all around. This 1932 Chevrolet Sedan is ready for the local cruise in or a trip on the power tour! For more information on this 1932 Chevrolet Sedan please call our Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or email us at nashville@gatewayclassiccars.com.

This is the car that comes to mind every time I think of the late 60’s and early ‘70’s. This is the poster car for that summer that we all remember. Everybody has that summer, the one where freedom is tasted for the first time, as well as adult beverages. This is the perfect car to relive those long summer nights of so many years ago.Fully restored in 2014 and with just 3,651 miles since then, this Camaro for sale looks like it was just driven off the lot. Tucked under the hood of this time machine is a Chevy small block or mighty mouse as we use to call them, 327 Cubic inches of raw Chevrolet power topped with a 4 barrel Q-Jet Carburetor. This strong 327 is backed by a stout 4 speed manual transmission. This 1967 Camaro is even more fun to drive than you remember. How long has it been since you experienced driving? I don’t mean in a car that has some computer to make sure you don’t drift outside your lane or one that applies the brakes for you as this is not driving, it is just steering the car, and heck we did that when we were 7 years old on dad’s lap. Remember driving? Wind in your hair and a car with a soul controlled by you and your right foot? Well hurry and get one before they are outlawed and we all “ride” in self driving, soulless things that are not even called cars anymore. Options for this 1967 Camaro convertible for sale include: AM/FM, cassette player with the original AM in trunk, manual convertible top, brakes, seat belts, vinyl interior and radial tires.
