Description:

The Chevrolet Chevelle was produced in three generations for the 1964 through 1978 model years. Part of the General Motors A-Body platform, the Chevelle was one of Chevrolet’s most successful nameplates. 1966-1967 models saw a significant restyle that included smooth contours, a broad new grille and bumper treatment and curved side windows. The 1967 models also received a new rear end featuring wraparound tail lamps with standard backup lights. The 1967 Chevelle brochure proudly stated: “what you see inside will probably bring on a severe compulsion to go driving!”. The SS396 Chevelle continued as its’ own series with both sport coupe and convertible models. This 1967 SS Tribute has a rebuilt 396 V8 mated to a 4-speed manual transmission and 10-bolt rear end. The owner has installed a new Hurst shift linkage, new clutch control arms and radiator. Additional features include power steering, power brakes and AM/FM Stereo. The bright red exterior is contrasted nicely by a beautiful two-tone black/red leather interior with front bucket seats. This 1967 Chevelle SS Tribute is located at our Milwaukee showroom. Description:

This 1969 Chevrolet Nova Yenko Tribute is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Yenko name is one of if not the most recognizable names of the muscle car era. The little Chevrolet dealer from PA put out some of the fastest cars from the one of the fastest era of cars. Many people do not realize but Don got his start with Corvairs. He began to use the COPO pipeline as it is now known to order detuned racecars from the factory. This led to what many believe as the craziest muscle car of all, the 69 Yenko Camaro. The ground stomping 427’s that were put in those cars had amazing amount of power and are legends. The Nova’s on the other hand were so potent that Chevrolet would not even do the swap. The 10 known to exist are capable of running low 12’s in the quarter mile in bone stock form. This wonderful example is as close to the real deal as you will get and probably even nicer. The car was completely disassembled and was a nut and bolt build from the ground up. Starting with a rust-free body it was prepped and sprayed with multiple coats of PPG black over the whole car including the bottom showing off the new factory floor pans. The powder coated sub frame only adds to the detail of this build. With the car ready to have its heart transplanted the decision to drop in a balanced and blueprinted 468 big block was made. With a set of polished and ported heads and a monstrous l89 cam this motor runs as good as it sounds. Speaking of sound, the long tube ceramic coated headers let this big block breath as it should. The power is given to the M22 transmission so it may send it to the 12 Bolt Posi rear end that has a set of 331 gears. Yes, you can drive this beauty down the highway and not be hitting 4500 RPM while doing so. Naturally you want to be able to show this 69 off and with the all new suspension and bushings you will be able to do just that. The all new factory red interior offsets the black exterior perfectly while bringing out the era correct red line tires. If you have wanted to get into the muscle car scene or just wanting a car that is guaranteed to give you goose bumps when you roll it off the trailer this 69 Nova Yenko Tribute is the car for you. Options on this 1969 Chevrolet Yenko Nova Tribute include; AM Radio, Power Brakes, Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts, and Bias Ply Red Line Tires. This 1969 Chevrolet Nova Yenko Tribute can be seen, including an HD video, at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call at 812-294-1555 or email Louisville@gatewayclassiccars.com for more information.

Description:

This 1974 Alfa Romeo 2000 GTV is for sale in our Louisville showroom. The Alfa Romeo GTV is a car that many will say is one of the best-looking cars to come from across the pond. With its great lines and near perfect stance it is easy to see why so many have fell in love with these cars. They much like the other European cars have steadily gone up in value and are any collectors bucket list. This 73 is a fitting example of what these cars can become with some time and money. The body is original to the car with a fresh silver paint job accenting those smooth lines. Pop the hood and the Dual cam inline 4 is amazing to look at just sitting there. The dual carb setup is a feature that helps with delivering that exact amount of gas and air a common conversion on these inlines. Turn the key and this freshly built piece of art is capable of 200HP while that classic inline 4 goes screaming into the higher RPM range. The original 5 speed transmission shifts nice and smooth with the clutch having a great feel. With the car only having 3 owners and the odometer showing right under 82000 miles this classic is sure to impress even the highest collectors. The Alfa’s version of the warranty card is available and comes with the car. The interior is original to the car with the black vinyl being in excellent condition. The bucket seats have enough side bolster to hold you in when going through the corners and are comfortable enough considering this is a sports car. The shifter is in a great position placing it right at arm’s length. If you have been wanting to get into the collector European car scene but don’t want to spend 6 or even seven figures this little Romeo would make for a great compromise. Description:

Now for sale in our Gateway Classic Cars of Houston showroom is this beautiful 1969 Chevrolet Camaro! What powers this one? A bad to the bone 383 CID V8 stroker engine mated to a smooth and easy driving 4-speed automatic transmission. This one is finished in an excellent red color with white touches and features a red interior. One of the worst parts about classic cars is the heat. Many older cars never had air conditioning. This is a Texas car which means it is probably one of the most valuable additions a driver here could ask for. This one has A/C to keep you cool on those hot days! It also features all aluminum heads for better flow into the engine and a roller cam for increased power and efficiency. The car has a 3500-stall converter which will help getting this monster off the line when you’re staged at the red lights on Friday night! Included with this Camaro is an air suspension system which improves ride quality, comfort and the overall appearance of the car. This car features an AM/FM radio and CD player so you can listen to your favorite tunes as you drive around in your fine piece of American automotive history. The first-generation Camaro appeared in dealerships in 1966 for 1967 model year. A brand-new rear-wheel drive GM F-body platform was created as a 2-door, 2+2, hardtop or convertible, with the choice of a straight 6 or a mighty V8 powerplant. Almost all 1967-1969 Camaros were built in the two U.S. assembly plants in Norwood Ohio and Van Nuys California. There were also five non-U.S. Camaro assembly plants in countries that required local assembly and content. These plants were located in the Philippines, Belgium, Switzerland, Venezuela and Peru. In 1969 the Camaro carried over the previous year’s drivetrain and major mechanical components, but all-new sheet metal, except the hood and trunk lid, gave the car a much sportier look. The grille featured a heavy “V” can’t and deeply inset headlights. The Camaro go new door skins, rear quarter panels and rear valance panel which gave the car a much lower, wider and more aggressive look. The 1969 model year was exceptionally long, extending into November 1969, due to manufacturing problem that delayed the introduction of the second-generation model planned for 1970. It is a popular myth late-69 Camaros were sold as 1970 models (due to GM publicity pictures of the 69 Camaro labeled as a 1970), but they were all assigned 1969 VIN codes. This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro is for sale in our Houston Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this awesome 1969 Pontiac GTO. This is the real deal GTO, not a clone. Originally an option package for the Pontiac Tempest in 1964 and 1965, the GTO became its own model from 1966-1971. The Pontiac GTO was named Motor Trend’s car of the year in 1968, and the 1969 carried over the attributes that helped it win the award in 1968. Although this one was originally Expresso Brown (color code 61) with a gold interior (color code 252), this GTO was redone during its restoration to its current color scheme of Matador Red over a black vinyl interior. Pop the hood, and youll find its 400 CID V8, topped by a 4BBL carb, and plenty of room to work on the big block. A set of long tube headers extract the exhaust gases into the Flowmaster-equipped dual exhaust, giving this Goat its vintage rumble. Depress the clutch, twist the key, slip the Hurst shifter-equipped 4-speed manual into first, and youll be tempted to immediately draw some elevens down the street. This ’69 runs and drives like a true muscle car. It is raw, powerful, and sounds amazing. The interior of this GTO is no different than the rest of the car, in that it is super clean. The restoration of this car was very well done. This car is the essence of what muscle cars are, and in this bad boy you will not go unnoticed! Additional features and options on this 1969 Pontiac GTO for sale include: AM radio, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Rally Wheels, Seat Belts, and Vinyl Interior. Don’t let your chance to own this muscle car slide by! This Pontiac GTO is one beast that has been highly sought-after in the recent past, and years to come due to its rarity. If you are in the market for one of the most iconic muscle cars of the 1960s, look no further. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1964 Pontiac GTO. 1964 is what many consider the birth year of what many consider the original Muscle car. John DeLorean was chief engineer at the time and noticed the exploding HOTOD scene. Consisting of young men taking anything they could find stripping it down and stuffing the biggest engine they could in it to make it go fast. He loved the idea so much that he decided to stuff a 389 Tri- Power in a midsize Tempest with some better suspension, a set of rally wheels, and finally three little letters G T O. Little did he know history was writing itself and the GTO would go down as the G.O.A.T or greatest of all time. This example has been restored back to its original glory and is sure to take you back to a better time. The paint has been redone back its original color with base coat clear coat giving it a deeper look than ever achievable in 64. The trim is as good as it comes with the bumpers being in some of the best condition I have seen. With it being a 2-door post car there were far few less of these beauties built making this a rare find. The aftermarket wheels are like what you would see back then but just a little taller to give it a modern look. Under the hood is a period and date code correct 389 with the 3 deuces sitting on top making this one of the hottest engines of its time. Matched up to a classic and correct 4 speed transmission this is exactly what DeLorean dreamed of, a car from the factory that was basically saying get in, sit down, shut up and hold on. A quick peek inside reveals classic Pontiac with the interior reflecting what you would find in 1964. The vinyl buckets with 4 speed shifters sticking out between them let everyone know this isn’t your Grandma’s Tempest. If you have been looking for the one started it all without draining the bank account, this 64 GOAT is the one for you. Options on this 1964 Pontiac GTO include; AM Radio, Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts, and Aluminum wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. This 1964 Pontiac GTO is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com.
