Description:

Do not look now, but this 1986 Chevrolet Camaro IROC Z/28 is an icon, and a collectable one at that. If you grew up in the 80s, this was the car to beat on the street, with an awesome combination of traditional muscle car acceleration and impressive handling. Current owner states it was Repainted at some point, and it looks quite authentic in the original Bright Red, which is probably the right choice on a car like this. With new decals installed at the same time, it is the ideal throwback to the 80s that still looks like a million bucks today. It has never been wrecked or rusty, obviously, and as a T-top car it feels amazing when you have them removed on a nice day. This car has led a very easy life, unlike so many of its siblings which were often victims of their low price and high performance. The ground effects remain in good shape with minimal road rash, and it still carries its original fog lamps up front. Seriously, if you are familiar with these cars, you know their fate but this one seems to have escaped and instead is on its way to being a legitimate collectors item. Things like the taillights, the weather seals, and even the black inserts on the hood remain bright, crisp, and clear. With bright tan cloth bucket seats, this Camaro is a lot more upscale than its price tag would suggest, both then and now. The interior is in very good condition, particularly considering its age, and it has a comfortable, welcoming look. That cloth upholstery holds you in place during spirited driving, and with a long list of comfort and convenience options this one is a no-compromises V8 muscle car. A/C, power windows, a tilt steering column, cruise control, and an AM/FM/CD stereo all make the IROC feel like the top-of-the-line car that it is. The center console houses most of the controls, plus the shifter for the 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission, which facilitates manual shifting by being just a few inches from the leather-wrapped wheel. The gauges are in good shape, although the anemic 85 MPH speedometer is kind of a wet blanket, but there is a fully set of auxiliary dials keeping an eye on the engine up front. The back seat is in good shape and folds down to make the cargo area downright massive. GMs bulletproof and powerful 5.0-liter V8 with Tuned-Port Injection was the standard engine on the IROC and was more than competitive with the Ford unit from across town. As a small block Chevy, its also insanely easy to modify, which also explains why so many Camaros went to meet their makers prematurely. Fortunately, this one is all stock, suggesting that it has not been raced or abused, and it still runs beautifully. Turn the key and it fires quickly, settling into a cackling V8 idle that suits the flashy muscle car. Lots of fresh maintenance parts under the hood means that this one has been loved, and thanks to a lifetime in the warm, dry south, the chassis is impressively tidy for being more than 30 years old. The original 16-inch alloys are in good condition with no curb rash and wear fresh performance radials. This car still commands respect on the street and will surely have a future in the collector car world. Call today! This 1986 Chevrolet Camaro IROC Z28 is for sale by our Atlanta Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

For sale in our Dallas Fort Worth showroom is a 1953 MG TD. Produced from 1950 until its final year of 1953, the MG TD featured a suite of upgrades that set it apart not only from its predecessor, but from many other sports cars of the day as well. The TD combined the drivetrain of its predecessor, the TC, a modified hypoid-geared rear axle, the MG Y-type chassis, a familiar T-type style body and independent suspension on front axle using coil springs from the MG Y-type saloon. All of these combined to create a significantly more comfortable driving experience and inherently broadened the appeal of the plucky Brit. Those handling upgrades were accompanied by MGs well-known 1250cc, inline 4 cylinder engine, which produced around 55 horsepower. This particular TD comes painted in a stately two tone configuration with a yellow body and black fenders. The interior features classic brown seats with black interior paneling, and to literally top it off, a new black convertible top is included as well. To view this 1953 MG TD in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is offering this 1987 Monte Carlo SS for sale. What is a Monte Carlo SS? It was a package option re issued in 1983 to augment the redesigned Monte Carlo rear wheel drive body. The recession was tough on automakers so it wasnt until the economy showed signs of recovery that we saw the first stirrings of rear wheel drive muscle again. After the Camaro and Firebird got their new identities, it was Monte Carlos turn. What Chevrolet did was create an aerodynamic nose for NASCAR racing. To homologate the package, marketing came up with an SS coupe to roll out in mid 1983. The Monte Carlo SS came in two colors, dark blue or white. It was a split bench seat car without console shift. That was left on the column as a three-speed automatic transmission. You got the F41 firm ride and handling package, door decals, the 305 HO engine with Rochester ModQuadrajet four barrel carb, trunk spoiler, raised white letter Goodyear Eagle GT tires on 15 x7 mag wheels and bragging rights for your neighborhood that Spring. It was a sales hit for Chevy. The early SS Montes used the TH350 transmission with a midrange 3.42 axle. The 305 used an aluminum intake manifold with Corvette L81 camshaft; this was good for 165 horses. Inside it was still a bit tame but with NASCAR racing wins piling up and a genuine battle between Chevy and Ford brewing, sales were good. The 84 edition was a repeat of last years success with full gauge package plus tach, quick ratio power steering, F41 suspension, black door handles, window reveal moldings and drip rails, anti chip protected lower body, sport mirrors with remote control driver, rally wheels and Eagle GT raised white letter tires, trunk spoiler, door decals, dual exhausts and full courtesy lamps. Inside you still had split bench seats as standard gear but those SS embroidered headrests were a nice touch. These disappeared after 1984. Horsepower went up to 180 this year. Most of the 1984 SS cars got the TH350. Options include: AC, AM/FM radio with cassette player, power steering, power brakes, power locks, power seats, tilt wheel, power mirrors, seat belts, Cloth interior, rally wheels, radial tires. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is happy to present this iconic 1969 Pontiac Grand Prix J model. Pontiacs Grand Prix was known as the Executives Hot Rod back in the day, because of its refined lines, sporty bucket / console interior, and powerful big-block V8 under the hood. Make no mistake about it, these cars perform well despite their mass, in a way only a classic Pontiac can. The stout 350 horsepower 400 4Bbl V8 makes an impressive 445 ft. lbs of torque. GMs legendary THM400 3 speed sends the power to the wheels. Ah yes, nothing quite like the roar of a Pontiac V8 topped by a Rochester Quadrajet. Its a sound new cars just cannot match. Call it a GTO in camouflaged. This beauty is a semi custom, with a deleted vinyl top and custom red-back interior. It features air conditioning, power steering, power brakes, power door locks, ac, am/fm radio, Rally wheels, cruise control and power windows. The Vette features the bullet proof LS1 5.7 Liter V8 which churns out 350 horsepower. In this example the LS1 is backed by a 6-speed manual transmission with the power delivered to the rear wheels. This one is finished in gloss black and sits on 5 spoke factory polished wheels wrapped in low profile radial tires. Corsa dual exhaust exits in the center of the rear through 4 exhaust outlets and provides a nice throaty sound to otherwise stock LS1. Description:

Now for sale in our Gateway Classic Cars of Houston showroom is this extremely cool 1925 Ford Model T. Between the extensive powertrain work and original sheet metal, this car is a clean example of a Model T. Under the hood of this American icon is a 2.9-liter inline four cylinder engine that was good for roughly 20 horsepower when new. The engine was rebuilt roughly 75 miles ago and upgraded with a 12V distributor and battery to improve reliability and drivability. Although the car has been upgraded, the original coil box remains in the car. Sending what little power this car has to the rear wheels is a two speed manual transmission with a very unique shifting sequence. The transmission was also rebuilt with the engine. Moving inward, the interior of this car is barren with no modern amenities or luxuries. When this car was produced, it was meant to be a cheap means of transportation for the masses with little to no focus on comfort or styling. Although there are really no features to speak of, the condition of the interior on this T is very good. The exterior of this T is finsished in black to stay true to the only original color option. The paint is in good condition and highlights the cars curves and style. Laying beneath the paint is the original sheet metal from when the car was new almost 100 years ago. Overall the condition of this T is very nice and this would make an excellent weekend toy or parade car! For more information on this 1925 Ford Model T for sale, to see all the HD pictures and videos of it, copy the URL below, and see it at this direct link: http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/HOU/1147/1925-Ford-Model-T .
