Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to present this 1988 Ford Mustang GT Convertible. The third-generation Mustang was produced by Ford from 1978 until 1993. Being built on Fords Fox platform, it is commonly referred to as the Fox body Mustang. It evolved through several sub-models, trim levels, and drivetrain combinations during its production life. It underwent updates for 1987, and for a time seemed destined for replacement with a front-wheel drive Mazda platform. However, company executives were swayed by consumer opinion and the rear-wheel drive Mustang stayed, while the front-wheel drive version was renamed the Ford Probe. Enthusiasts group the generation into two segments: the 1979-1986 cars, with their quad headlight arrangement, and the 1987-1993 cars, with their aerodynamic composite headlamps and front fascia styling. The GT models featured new round fog lamps and gained aerodynamic lower bodyside skirting as well as new turbine style 15-inch (380 mm) wheels. The 302 cu in (4.9 L) Mustangs became popular with the aftermarket performance industry. Powering this Mustang GT is a 302 Cubic Inch V8 making 225 hp (168 kW) and 300 ft?lbs (410 Nm) of torque from the factory. Backing this stout V8 is a 5-Speed Manual transmission. Options on this 1988 Ford Mustang GT Convertible include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio, Cassette Player, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Locks, Power Windows, and Power (New) Convertible Top. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is proud to offer this two-owner 35-Anniversary 2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z-28 Convertible. A beautiful triple-black 2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 convertible is very attractive at this price. But when you realize the significance of this car, and the level of preservation it has received, you will see an amazing deal on a low-mileage classic. This year was both the 35th anniversary for the icon and the final year for the fourth-gen Camaro. So, this droptop represents a sleek black set of bookends. That is why this car has been treated with respect since day one. Averaging less than 1,330 miles annually means this was only taken out on special occasions. And the level of shine on the factory-applied Onyx Black instantly lets you know it spent most of its life in the garage. This Z/28 really knows how to look like a midnight stalker with its pointed front end, blacked-out badge package, and well-intergraded rear spoiler. And this dark presentation really makes the details standout like the little red bow tie in the rear and the high-polish 16-inch factory alloys. Beneath the black folding top is a terrific black interior. With the paint, roof, and interior all deep and dark, this completes the ultra-desirable triple-black presentation. So, if you are a collector, youll love that this Camaro was born this way, and it all still looks factory fresh. But more than just long-term value, this was built to be a great driver. The leather buckets in front are grippy in the corners and the drivers one electronically adjusts to be comfortable for all-day drives. Another reason why this one was a good candidate to be a time capsule is because it is loaded. That means keyless entry, power locks, dual airbags, cruise control, tilt wheel, and the factory premium AM/FM/CD stereo. Plus, with a power convertible top and power windows, you do not even have to leave the drivers seat to go from enclose comfort to a wind-in-your-hair experience. And with ice-cold air conditioning, you can do this even in the summertime. This final-year Z/28 also means more muscle than some of the earlier cars. The LS1 was the kind of small block that got all of us instantly excited from day one. More refined, lighter, and more powerful than its predecessor, it pushed the Z/28 past the 300 hp barrier. That kind of significance makes us happy to see the original numbers matching V8 under the hood of this survivor Z car. But while you might marvel at how fresh it looks, we know you are not going to be able to resist taking it out for some fun. After all, the four-speed automatic transmission is great for overdrive cruising or quick kick-downs for a performance run. Plus, there is plenty of control with four-wheel disc brakes, power steering, ABS, and performance tires. This is the cool and collectable Camaro value you have been searching for. Now is the time to act because you are not the only one who can afford this significant and beautiful Z/28. Call now!

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is pleased to present this sporty 1973 Chevrolet Corvette Coupe. Last of the chrome bumper Corvettes here folks. 1973s still had a chrome rear bumper, which looks very sharp. It was built July 20, 1973, and is still in the original color of Mille Miglia Red on black interior, from the factory. The paint looks good, smooth and shiny, a nice driver overall. The 350 L48 V8 retains its factory look and still features the cold air induction system air cleaner. These 1973-1973 Vettes sound awesome when you crack open the secondaries on the Rochester Quadrajet 4-bbl. Still a respectable performer even with the post 1971 reduction in compression and emission controls beginning to strangle the engine. The interior appears original and overall is in good shape, aside from some restoration being needed. This one features power windows which helps prevent wrenching your back reaching across to close them. The black interior really looks great in a C3, has that vintage 60-70s GM look we love. And of course the removeable T-tops give it an extra cool look! Heres a Vette that represents early C-3s well, and it is affordable. Great candidate to leave stock, or drop a nice crate motor in it. Pretty much every part one needs is available for these through the various parts suppliers. The sharp muscular lines of the C3 Corvettes keeps them popular with us and they tend to sell quickly. This 1973 Chevrolet Corvette is for sale through our Fort Lauderdale showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and a HD video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com for more information please call the showroom at 954-227-4202 or email us at ftlauderdale@gatewayclassiccars.com

On the police radio, the team of “Starsky & Hutch” was signaled by the handle Zebra-3, but truth be told their calling card was a red 1976 Ford Gran Torino, also known as the striped tomato. The action crime drama aired from April 1975 through May 1979 and starred Paul Michael Glaser as Starsky and David Soul as Hutch.

David Soul and Paul Michael Glaser were police detectives and partners on the television series Starsky & Hutch from 1975 to 1979. The 1976 Ford Gran Torino with its iconic white stripe has become a legend.

The stock Gran Torino was repainted and the signature white stripe was added, making it a specialty vehicle that could not be seen on the road, or on any other shows. It also defined a generation and went on to become an icon for the 1970s.

When a remake came along in 2004 as a full-length movie, the same car made a comeback in all its glory, although with Ben Stiller as Starsky, Owen Wilson as Hutch, and Snoop Dogg as Huggy Bear … with a nice end scene cameo by the true originals.
