Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a groovy 1973 Volkswagen Westfalia. Though it may look like a van from the outside, we believe this vehicle to be a time machine ready to take you back to 1973. Let’s start on the exterior. The body has been completely restored, stripped, straightened, and re-painted in sunny orange. The pop-top, bumpers, and wheels are finished in white to really set off the orange. If simply seeing this vehicle doesn’t put a smile on your face, sliding open the side door will. What you’ll find is a nice little home away from home. Seating, a table for dining, a bed for sleeping, heck, even a TV so you can catch the latest episode of the Brady Bunch. The décor is perfect, with plenty of Grateful Dead stickers, vintage motorcycle and motocross memorabilia, and a killer 8-Track collection. These VW vans are not known for their speed, but thankfully this one has been tastefully upgraded in the power department. The engine is a 2,365cc Flat Four with a forged crank, 88mm Big Bore, Mahle rods, and a Weber down draft carburetor. This power plant makes for a capable cruiser that is comfortable on the highway. Another unique feature to this V-Dub is the 3-speed automatic transmission. This is a nice alternative to the typical VW 4 speed for those that don’t want to bother with shifting their own gears. Whether you want to go camping on the weekends, drive around the country, or follow your favorite band’s tour, this 1973 Westfalia is ready for its next adventure. You can see this 1973 Volkswagen Westfalia in greater detail in our St. Louis showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please contact 618-271-3000 or stl@gatewayclassiccars.com with inquiries.

Description:

For sale in our Dallas showroom is this awesome 1981 Jeep CJ8 Scrambler. This CJ8 comes furnished with a bad to the bone Deep grey Kevlar camoliner. So, you can go through any type of terrain and not worry about scratching the paint. This is the first year for Jeep to make the CJ-8 and they only produced 8,355 of them. So, it’s quite difficult to find a CJ-8 as nice as this one. They stopped production of the CJ-8 in 1986. The CJ-8 comes equipped with a 4.0 L six-cylinder engine with a 5-speed manual transmission that came out of a 2002 Jeep Wrangler. The original inline six engine in the CJ-8 was only putting out 110HP and the new stump pulling 4.0L out of the 2002 wrangler puts out 190HP. It also comes with a carb conversion that gives it enough torque to climb up a 90-degree wall while in low gear. All wiring has been replaced and every gauge and light works. This CJ-8 has a 3-inch lift kit that’s sitting on 36-inch Maxxis all terrain tires wrapped around 20’’ Moto Metal rims. This very detailed restoration took a little over a year and a half to complete and attention to detail and high-end parts were the focus. Don’t miss out on this well restored Beast. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to offer one very cool 1965 Pontiac GTO. You won’t be able to help yourself from humming “Little GTO” when you fire up this bright red beauty. As Ronnie and the Daytonas sung in their 60’s classic, “Turn it on, wind it up, blow it out, GTO”. This ’65 has the iconic 3 deuces and a 4 speed that any Pontiac fan can appreciate. It sports a Pontiac 400 from a 1968, but still has the look and feel you’d expect from a ’65. The snappy red exterior is set off with a set of polished Cragar SSs wrapped in white wall tires. This one sports a unique white vinyl top which matches the white vinyl interior. Front buckets and a floor shifter leave no questioning what type of car this is: a true muscle car. This is however, the gentleman’s muscle car, so a wood rimming steering wheel and wood grain dash dress up the cabin. Power steering and power brakes are a must in a full sized car with the power that this one has. When you hit wide open throttle, you can hear all 3 carbs gulping fresh air to feed the beast. Needless to say, they just don’t make them like they used to. This little slice of muscle car history is available in our Dallas showroom. Swing by for a closer look, or check out www.GatewayClassicCars.com for 100+ photos and a video. Contact 817-310-9400 or dallas@gatewayclassiccars.com with inquiries.

Its great lines and fastback styling were an instant success with consumers. With a plethora of V8 engine options the car went from a success to one of the most iconic Muscle cars of its time. This beautiful example has been brought back to life with a frame off restoration. The car was taken down and slowly built back up. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is happy to present this Pristine 2000 Plymouth Prowler for purchase at our showroom in West Deptford, NJ. This Prowler is finished in Yellow with Black interior and only 20,000 original miles. In the early 90’s Chrysler engineers were given free rein to design whatever they wanted in a Hot Rod type vehicle. The rod-inspired Plymouth Prowler was approved as the companys follow-up show-stopper to the Viper. It was introduced in 1997. One of the most striking design features of the Prowler are the open, race style front wheels. The Prowler features a 24-valve, 3.5 L aluminum-block, 253 hp (189 kW; 257 PS) at 6400 rpm engine. Coupled to a four-speed Autostick semi-automatic transmission. The transmission was located at the rear of the vehicle and joined to the engine by a torque tube that rotated at engine speed, an arrangement similar to that used by Corvette and Porsche. While criticized for having only a V6 engine, Chryslers High Output 3.5 had a horsepower rating similar to (or higher than) the companys Magnum V8s of that era. While not making nearly as much torque as a V8, Prowlers light weight helped to achieve rapid off-the-line acceleration. The car prominently featured aluminum construction and the car was assembled by hand at the Conner Avenue Assembly Plant (CAAP) in Detroit. To view this 2000 Prowler in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ. Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a one of a kind 1955 Ford Thunderbird. This is not your grandfathers T-Bird. Power comes from a Chevy 396 Big Block and a 6-71 Blower! Yes thats right, a blown big block Chevy in a T Bird. Certainly enough power for this lightweight. The body is fiberglass and it has a narrowed rear end plus a Mustang II front end. Power is sent to the rear wheels via TH-350 automatic, Ford 9 and 3.55 gears. Front disc brakes will slow you down in a hurry. In addition to this wild build, it is also equipped with Power windows, radio and a Power trunk lid. The looks of this Thunderbird will draw a crowd from anywhere. Bright red, convertible, blower sticking out of the hood and fat Mickey Thompson tires out back. Of course if you dont see this car coming, youll hear it! Its not too loud but will certainly let you know that it means business. The rumble from the Big block and the whine from the blower, yes that will do it. Inside is a stock Thunderbird bench seat, modified gauges, switches for the electric fuel pump, electric cooling fan, ignition and a power cutoff in the glove box. The trunk is finished nicely and features a fuel cell in between he rear tubs for the giant rear wheels. Top up or top down, this is a fun car. For those of you that like the look of the old Thunderbirds but need double the power, look no further, as this one belongs in your garage. Call our St. Louis showroom for more information on this Blown T-Bird or stop by for a closer look. To view HD photos and video, visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com

Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is proud to offer this bulletproof 1970 Land Rover IIA. Let’s start off saying that this truck was part of the Guinness World Record Classic Car Parade in 2017, when over 2,400 classic cars took off for a parade. To make sure that there would be no issues with the Land Rover, the whole engine was completely rebuilt. Any engine part that was needed was ordered directly from the United Kingdom. Everyone knows how it goes when you start rebuilding the engine – exactly…By end of the year the whole Land Rover received an overhauling. Here are just a few items that are new: - New gas, oil and water pumps as air and water hoses - New differential pinion seals - New high torque British starter - New engine and transmission mounts - New carburetor with adapter - New brake system - New clutch and disc - New wiper motor, wiper switch, wiper cable and washer pump - New front bumper - And, and, and… The Land Rover starts right up and drives amazingly for being almost 50 years old. There is really no terrain that can stop it. This is a perfect truck to take out for fishing or camping trips. You probably can be 100% sure that there is not another early 70’s Land Rover at the lake or camping ground. Especially not one that is in this beautiful condition. For more information give us a call today. Let it ride!!! To see 100+ HD pictures and a video of this 1970 Land Rover, please visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Up for sale now in our Houston Showroom is this very clean 1932 Ford Roadster, and it’s itching for a new home. The ’32 Ford is also known as the “Deuce Coupe” and is a highly sought out hot rod that provided plenty of “get up and go” for almost any car guy, or gal. This Deuce Coupe features a 350 CID “Highboy V8 Crate” engine which only has 755 miles on it since the rebuild, it is accompanied by a 700R4 automatic transmission. It also has a solid Ford 9” rear end to make for a nice little package. The Walker steel radiator and electric fan keeps it running cool. The front disk brakes with drum brakes in the rear provide plenty of stopping power for this roadster. If you notice, the car also has independent front suspension to provide a smooth ride along with rack and pinion steering. Aluminum Budnik Ion wheels have been placed on this beauty to give it that nice curb appeal, and feature some 15X7 P195/60/R15 87T Toyo Spectrum tires on the front with 15X8 P225/70/R15 100T Mastercraft Avenger GT tires on the rear. Did I mention how nice this roadster sounds with the stainless-steel exhaust with chrome tips. The “Hot red” Dupont paint on this roadster is in great condition. From the Wescott fiberglass body to the small areas like the door jamb, and even nuts and bolts throughout the car, this paint shows very well. The chrome trimming around the grill, chromed headlights, and even on the handles along-side the hood and the front and rear cross members is in great condition with little to no pitting. The body lines are straight and truly makes this car one that is worth seeing in person. The steel 4-piece louvered hood is also in great shape and opens and closes easily. The trunk is easily opened as well with an electric opener. The interior of the car is a nicely done beige Ultra Leather interior. The interior has a nice GM chrome tilt steering wheel, new carpet, and a Banjo steering wheel with a leather grip. The dash features a very sleek looking Dolphin gauges. As you’re driving down the road on a dark night you will notice the Tri-Bar headlights and directional custom rear LED tail lights that have been built into the body provide plenty of visibility on the streets. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Saint Louis is proud to offer a bad to the bone 1968 Chevrolet K30. This is the big one. The K10 was the half ton, K20 was a ¾ ton, and the mack daddy of the civilian trucks was the one-ton K30. This bad boy has all the right stuff. Let’s start with the power train, no small blocks for this machine. This truck has a 396 CID big block V8 under the hood and a nicely dressed one at that. It has been rebuilt, sports headers, dual exhaust, an aluminum intake manifold, and an oversized air cleaner. The dual exhaust has a nice deep raspy note to let everyone know you’re coming. Behind the big block is a highly desirable 4-speed manual transmission and a 2-speed transfer case to all four wheels. The front axle has manual locking hubs and the final drive ratio is 4.10 which will turn the large tires. The truck sits on aluminum wheels wrapped in all-terrain tires which look great. This K30 underwent a rotisserie restoration in 2009 which included powder coating the frame, and completely restoring the body. The body is coated in Victory Red on the exterior, and the underside is nicely painted in chassis black. There’s no thick undercoating covering this undercarriage, it’s nice enough to display. The interior is nicely finished, and the bed has a spray in bed-liner. The truck could just as easily be used as a daily driver as it could a showpiece. You can see this awesome 1968 Chevrolet K30 in greater detail in our St. Louis showroom or at www.GatwayClassicCars.com. Please contact 618-271-3000 or stl@gatewayclassiccars.com with inquiries.

Description:

For sale in our Scottsdale Arizona showroom is a pretty patina 1932 Ford Roadster. This roadster for sale has had so many goodies tossed at it that we can ramble on for hours, and if you’re driving it then you just might not ever stop. Maybe for gas but you will drive for hours and hours. This light little glass bodied (Quality, Gibbon Fiberglass Body) 1932 Ford Roadster for sale is powered by a General Motors small block 327CID V8 that started its life nesteled in a 1962 Chevrolet Corvette and now is topped with 3 stack carburetors and this little puppy will bark and howl like a beast in the wild. Backing this V8 is a General Motors Turbo350 automatic transmission which give the ease of being a cruiser and a bruiser all at the same time. When you press the start button to fire up this beast you will hear a very deep and stout rumble, the kind of rumble that will take you back to the yesteryear. As you look at this 1932 Ford Roadster for sale you have to stop and think for a second, how can a glass bodied roadster have patina “rust ” look? Well the best answer is it was painted that way and to the naked eye you would never know. The interior of this 1932 Ford roadster for sale sports a black vinyl bench seat that sits low and back, meaning that if you are tall or just otherwise have the issue of roadsters being too small this is the one for you then. As you lean back in your new roadster you will see that passerbyers are snapping their neck to get a peek at your cool ride, they are going to be staring at the original rear 32’ suspension and thinking wow. Original 1932 Ford Frame - With original 32 vin number (as stated by the owner, Unverified by Gateway Classic Cars) But this little roadster has a secret, it has tucked up under the rear modern and updated suspension that you cant see without rolling under the car, great idea and very well put together. Options on this 1932 Ford Roadster for sale include: Bias ply tires that are wrapping steel wheels capped by chrome hub caps, seat belts, Vinyl interior, super bell front end, dual smitties glass packs, under chassis transmission cooler and many memories to come. For more information or to schedule an appointment to view this vehicle in person, please call the Scottsdale showroom at (623) 900-4884 or email us directly at scottsdale@GatewayClassicCars.com See more at: http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/SCT/24/1932-Ford-Roadster
