Description:

This good looking 1930 Chevrolet Coupe is for sale in our Louisville Showroom. There are various theories about the origin of the term hot rod. The common theme is that hot related to hotting up a car, which means modifying it for greater performance. One theory is that rod means roadster, a lightweight 2-door car which was often used as the basis for early hot rods. Another theory is that rod refers to camshaft, a part of the engine which was often upgraded in order to increase power output. Under the hood of this good-looking street rod is the Heart Beat of America. That’s right, the most popular V8 engine to be used in a street rod for the last 50 years, a small block Chevy engine. Cubic displacement of the V8 is a nice healthy 350 inches. The V8 is mated to a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission. The two toned green and black goes really well together. The top hasn’t been chopped down, so there is still plenty of head room inside this old Chevy. Inside, gray cloth bucket seats are up front with a matching rear bench seat in the rear. The wood ribs have been left exposed and a little of that work in progress. After all, are Hot Rods really ever done? The dash has been filled with aftermarket gauges and an aftermarket tilt steering column with a woodgrain steering wheel has been added. The current owner has owned this beauty for the last 15 years, he has just decided it is time for someone else to enjoy this beauty. Options for this 1930 Chevrolet Coupe include; Power Brakes, Tilt Steering and Aluminum Alloy wheels wrapped in Radial tires. The Shelby GT/SC package featured numerous performance upgrades including a Paxton supercharged engine capable of producing up to 550 horses. We are talking here about a Shelby GT/SC and you wouldn’t expect anything else. You will already put a smile on your face just walking around the car. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis has a 1964 Cadillac Deville for sale. If you are looking for a classic boat that doesnt float, youve found one here. Everything on it works. It drives like a dream, and it is priced to sell. BACKGROUND: The Cadillac DeVille was originally a trim level and later a separate model produced by Cadillac. The first car to bear the name was the 1949 Coupe de Ville, a pillarless two-door hardtop body style with a prestige trim level above that of the Series 62 luxury coupe. The last model to be formally known as a DeVille was the 2005 Cadillac DeVille, a full-size sedan, the largest car in the Cadillac model range at the time. The next year, the DeVille was officially renamed DTS. The major change of this last year of the Second-Generation Deville was a new up front was a bi-angular grille that formed a V-shape along both its vertical and horizontal planes. The current owner of this vehicle bought it in Montana. It has since enjoyed a basic frame on restoration and repaint. The motor was rebuilt by the prior owner, who also rebuilt the front end, steering components, and brakes. Its overall condition is not show-car quality, but it is in good condition and just really need someone to love it back into a glow. As you can see in the video, it sounds and runs great! The air conditioning is cold! This car is just right for someone who loves the old Devilles and is ready to take ownership of one. To view this 1964 Cadilac Deville in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis Showroom. Description:

Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this 1967 Chevrolet Nova. This Nova is powered by a stout 383 stroker that has no trouble getting up through the powerband. With a ratchet shifting 3-speed automatic you can choose to just cruise or run it through the higher rpm range for max performance. These larger motors require more fuel to drink, so a QuikFuel carburetor has been added. Another bonus is the dual electric fans that are sure to keep this engine at a good operating temp. For improved handling new bushing were added along with coil over shocks in the rear. 4-wheel disc brakes provide enough stopping power to bring this Nova to a halt in a timely manner. At a quick glance you would assume this Nova is just painted in a typical gloss black. If you look a little closer or catch it in the sun just right, you will find a nice touch of red flake throughout the paint. To add a nice outside appearance to this car, a set of RETRO black and chrome wheels have been added and remain in good condition. While information may be limited on this Nova, it is still a good car if your looking to get into the classic vehicle market. For more information on this 1966 Chevrolet Nova for sale, to see all the HD pictures and videos of it, copy the URL below, and see it at this direct link: http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/show/HOU/1501 . Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this sharp 1949 Ford F1 pickup. This F1 is powered by its original Ford Flathead 8-cylinder engine and mated to a 3-speed manual transmission. The odometer reads 56,483 and although there isnt documentation to prove this is the actual mileage, the drivetrain is numbers matching and has never been rebuilt. In our opinion, this truck drives way too well to be 156k miles and it hasnt been rebuilt per the owner. The Ford Bronze painted block definitely dignifies this block as a 1949 per Bill Hirsch of Newark, New jersey covering “engine enamels. This Sheridab Blue (year 1949-1954 Chip No. 174) is still in great condition with minor scratches and wear shown. The exterior is in fantastic shape with chrome bumpers, a wooden inlayed bed, fog lights, vent, white wall tires, and painted to match steel wheels with chrome hubcaps. This truck is still powered by a 6 volt electric system with a new battery. The current owner has had the truck for almost 10 years and it is been in the family before taking ownership. Recently the fuel pump, carburetor, master cylinder for brakes, brake switch, and steering box have been restored or replaced recently with receipts. Inside this beautiful truck is a blue vinyl bench seat with nice paint on the dash, clean and restored gauges, and even the manual shift on the floor. If you are looking for a collectors item or something that you can drive and enjoy, this is the piece of Ford History for you! The newly installed carb gives the inline 6 the perfect amount of fuel allowing this 51 to run without missing a beat. The dual exhaust gives the truck a nice note that is distinct and one of a kind. Open the door and a very comfortable interior is just waiting for you to jump in and drive. The dash retains its stock gauges giving these 5 windows that classic charm. Put the three on the tree in first and let the clutch go as this 51 was meant to be driven and look good while doing it. If you have been wanting a classic truck that was restored back to its original glory these 51 5 windows is an excellent choice. Description:

Our Chicago showroom is proud to offer this 1969 Chevrolet Camaro. When Chevrolet first introduced the Camaro in 1967 they decided that no Camaro would be fitted with an engine bigger then a 400 CI. This was rather upsetting as Ford, Plymouth and others were stuffing bigger more powerful engines into Camaro competitors. For Don Yenko, the owner of a Chevrolet Dealership in Pennsylvania, he knew there was a market for bigger more powerful Camaros. He decided he was going to build his own. In 1967 he ordered SS Camaros from the factory and swapped out the engine for the larger 427 V8 engine found in Corvettes at the time. As one would figure they sold like hot cakes. He would make about a 100 or so each year for 1967, 1968 and 1969. In 1969 he worked with Chevrolet to finally get the 427 V8 put in from the factory. This 1969 Camaro is a tribute to Don Yenko and the wonderful cars he put on the road for all of us to enjoy. This Camaro received a full restoration in 2009. The engine was swapped during this time for a 427 V8 and paired to a 4-speed manual. To help get the power to the ground it has a Mosher Posi-Rear End with 3.73 gears. The odometer currently reads 76,481 miles, but the engine has about 2000 miles on it since being rebuilt and put in. The noise is emitted through dual exhaust coming out the rear. Painted in a clean yellow with a black vinyl top and Yenko Racing stripes on the hood and down the side of the car it is sure to get a lot of attention. Inside is a clean black vinyl interior with bucket seats and a center console. The gauges show the RPMs and Speed and in front of the stick shift are 4 white rectangle gauges for the battery, temperature, Oil pressure, and Fuel. The steering wheel is wooden and gives great grip to the driver. The car is waiting for its next owner whip through the gears and enjoy this bad boy like its meant to be. All of this sits atop 15-inch American Racing Equipment 5 spoke rims with raised white letter tires. Description:

This custom 1946 Ford pickup is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. 1946 was a great year for the auto industry in general. The war was won, and the factories had returned to what they do best, manufacturing automobiles. With 46 being the first year for post war cars they are extremely popular with collectors and enthusiast in general. This one-off custom-built red rocket is sure to garner attention where ever it goes. The bright red paint is slick and shows extremely well. The soft tonneau covers the bed giving it a sportier look. The front end looks menacing as it is coming down the road with the chrome grill almost looking like teeth as they pronounce the front end. Under the hood is where this 46 is sure to get your blood pumping. The 302 small block looks right at home and is one of the very few street rods to stay true to its roots. The high-rise intake is not only impressive looking but increases horsepower output as well. The Mallory ignition setup gives the small block just the right amount of spark while the edelbrock carb feeds it all the gas it can handle. Start it up and that little small block has a pretty radical grow. The C6 transmission is putting power to a Ford 9-inch rear end which is one of the most reliable set ups. The interior of the truck is clean and simple with the white auto meter gauges really giving a huge contrast to the red. The Hurst shifter has been raised up making it much easier to use. The black door inserts are clean and really finish the interior off nicely. If you have been wanting to get your hands on a street rod that has stayed true to its namesake this all Ford 46 custom pickup is one of the few.Options on this 1946 Ford Pickup for sale include; Seat Belts, Tilt Steering Wheel, Cloth Interior, Polished Aluminum Wheels with Radial Tires. 1946 Ford Pickup for sale is in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail, including an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

For sale in our Chicago showroom is this show-worthy 1962 Chevrolet Impala. The Chevrolet Impala has always been a staple in American automotive history, and this classic cruiser lives up to the hype! With a strong 350 cubic inch small block Chevy V8 partnered up with a smooth 3-speed automatic, this Impala is as reliable as it is fun! Built to be a “Street/Strip car, any extra weight savings helps, as does any reduction in engine drag, so power steering is not present, neither are power brakes. With roughly 50 pounds save off the nose end of the Impala by not adding those items, this full-size coupe feels as agile and nimble as a much smaller ride. A fresh coat of Ruby Red enamel paint sparkles like the gem its named after. One would be hard pressed to believe that the paint is really from 2008! The Impala has been in the family for roughly 13 years, and has been meticulously cared for during that time. Plenty of care went into not only selecting just the right colors, engine parts, and interior, but also in keeping the restoration looking fresh for as long as possible. With mostly original metal (the trunk pan needed to be replaced), the lines are as straight as GM made them. Having been owned by a firefighter during the restoration, there are a handful of fire suppressors keeping you safe, in the event of the worst. Strap into these race-inspired seats, buckle the 4-point harness, and have a great time! Options include: Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires, and Racing Wheels.
