The Mercedes-Benz SL name has always signified a certain level of automotive style and sophistication, and each new generation seems both to define and be defined by its era. The suspension was fully independent and four-wheel disc braking as standard. For 1973, the cars name was revised and 450SL would be the model designation moving forward. This beautiful vehicle is painted in a gorgeous Maroon color with amazing leather tan interior. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars St. Louis is proud to have for sale this 4-speed 1973 Chevrolet Corvette. The 1973 year is easy to pick out of a crowd as they have a defining feature. The body style it is a mixture of old and new with a chrome bumper on the rear and a urethane front bumper. The front bumper on these were changed to meet Federal Safety requirements in a 5 MPH crash. Other changes in 1973 include: a new coolant overflow recovery system, sound deadening material sprayed on interior panels for a quiter ride, new chassis mounts that better isolate road chatter and vibration, recessed wipers replaced the vacuum controlled panel that were prone to failure on previous years, steel beams were added inside the doors to improve side impact protection, and rear luggage space increased by 2 in height. So the 1973 Corvette was quieter, safer, and a better driving vehicle than previous years thanks to these changes! This is the original color combination of Red paint with a Saddle interior. The engine has been rebuilt but it is still powered by the numbers matching engine, 4-speed transmission, and rear end. The 350 CID V8 has a nice sound and puts out plenty of power for cruising in style! Everyone will certainly see you coming in this bright Red Corvette. Options include A/C, power steering, power brakes, manual convertible top, AM/FM radio, vinyl interior, seat belts, tilt wheel, aluminum alloy wheels and radial tires. If you are looking for a classic to turn some heads and enjoy driving with the T-tops removed, this is the Corvette for you. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this sharp 1964 Chevrolet El Camino. Chevrolet El Camino is a coupé utility vehicle that was produced by Chevrolet between 1959-60 and 1964-1987. Unlike a pickup truck, the El Camino was adapted from a two-door station wagon platform that integrated the cab and cargo bed into the body. Introduced in the 1959 model year in response to the success of the Ford Ranchero coupé utility, its first run lasted only two years. Production resumed for the 1964-1977 model years based on the Chevelle platform, and continued for the 1978-1987 model years based on the GM G-body platform. The 1964 model was similar to the Chevelle two-door wagon forward of the B-pillars and carried both Chevelle and El Camino badges, but Chevrolet marketed the vehicle as a utility model and Chevelles most powerful engines were not available. This El Camino is claimed to be powered by its original numbers matching drivetrain with only 90k miles on the odometer. The standard V8 was a 283 cubic-inch Chevrolet small block with two-barrel carburetor and 195 hp with optional engines including a 220 hp 283 with four-barrel carburetor and dual exhausts. This set up is the 220hp 283 that is mated to the original 2 speed Powerglide automatic transmission. The red paint is in fantastic shape with shiny chrome trim and painted on pin stripping. The black vinyl bench seating is clean with minimal signs or wear. This El Camino is the perfect drive quality car to add to the collection that you can truly enjoy. Ladies and Gentlemen, Gateway Classic Cars of Kansas City is pleased to offer a very attractive and sporty 1964 Ford Falcon Futura. The Ford Falcon is a front-engine, rear-drive six passenger compact car produced by Ford from 1959 to 1970, across three generations. Introduced on September 2, 1959, the Falcon was a sales success for Ford initially, outselling contemporary rivals from Chrysler and General Motors, from October 8, 1959, the Falcon was offered in two-door and four-door sedan, two-door and four-door station wagon, two-door hardtop, convertible, sedan delivery and Ranchero pickup body configurations. The 1964 Ford Falcon two- and four-door sedans represented Ford utility in true form, displaying squared-off rooflines and little ornamentation. The Deluxe (sometimes listed in literature as the Convenience Package) offered much of the same trim upgrades as before albeit for the new-gen model. Our restored, white exterior with black interior beauty, has a very aggressive look thanks to period correct looking torque thrust wheels. The power is provided by a peppy rebuilt original 260 cubic inch, V-8 engine bored .60 over. The engine also is enhanced with an Edelbrock Carburator, headers, chrome air cleaner and valve covers. Plus, the mechanism that makes all of this get the power to the wheels is a rebuilt, original four-speed transmission. Stopping power is enhanced by late-model front disc brakes, rear drums and new shocks. The very nice, new interior features original style reproduction door panels, seat covers, carpet, headliner, and refurbished original center console. Music is provided by an aftermarket AM/FM/CD stereo. Plus, new weatherstripping, trim moldings, etc. have been refurbished or replaced. These little Falcons are disappearing by the day! Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is proud to present this elegant 1936 Packard 120B Sedan at our Milwaukee location. The Packard had an astonishing run from 1899-1956. Starting out as a small company where only 400 Packards were manufactured from 1899- 1903. Even with those low numbers, Packard had caught the attention of rich investors due to its superior build quality and reliability. In 1902 the Packard Motor company was off and running. Sold to wealthy purchasers in both the United States and European markets. As a matter of fact, Packard sold twice as many cars abroad than any other U.S. manufacturer. Competing with such names as Mercedes Benz and Rolls-Royce. This 1936 Packard 120B was designed to enter the competitive mid-sized eight-cylinder market during the great depression. Sharing the market with such models as the Lasalle and Lincoln- Zephyr. Packard introduced independent front suspension for the first time on the 120B. The 1936 Packard 120B was manufactured as two-door, four-door and convertible models. Powered by a 282 cubic inch L-head inline eight powerplant with all-new Packard aluminum heads, attached to a three- speed manual transmission. This combo made for a car capable of reaching a top speed of 85mph. From its elegant burgundy/silver paint job, color-keyed wheels and wide whitewalls and distinctive Packard grille makes this automotive legend screams “classic class. Open the suicide doors and take in the elegant velour seats which looks more like a parlor than a cars interior. This Packard 120B is a fine example of an unmolested treasure of a time gone by. Just the name Packard says it all! Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Detroit is excited to have this 1983 Ford Thunderbird Drag Car for sale! This Thunderbird is well known in the racing community here in Detroit. It is a tried and true race car and does exactly what it needs to when those 4 tires hit the racetrack. The first thing you notice is the paint color. You look at this car and go WOW is that bright. This Ford is painted in highlighter green, if the sound of the motor doesnt turn heads, the paintjob sure will. The interior has been gutted for weight loss purposes in order to obtain the fastest times at the track. It still retains its original dash that has been modified to fit some aftermarket gauges so you can keep track of all the operations of this high-powered motor. The true showpiece of the car is whats under the hood. The heart of this beast is a 447 cubic inch small block Ford V8 that roars through its open headers at the touch of the throttle. Helping that motor get you moving is 2-speed Powerglide transmission that is common in cars of this nature. This Thunderbird is a real beast and will give you the best kind of adrenaline rush when driving it. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is proud to offer this 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass Convertible! After being with the same owner for the past 22 years, its time for this beauty to find a new loving home. The car was restored and painted in a fabulous red by the current owner and sports a clean white vinyl interior. The paint is by Dupont and gives off a great shine when the sun hits it. Under the hood is the legendary Oldsmobile Rocket 350 V8 and paired to an automatic 3-speed transmission. The noise is emitted through dual exhausts coming out the rear. The rear end remained stock and gets the power to the back tire smoothly. The white soft top is in good condition, but the car looks best with the top down and the wind blowing. Inside the shift lever has been replaced with a non-fuctional his and hers lever that dresses up the interior. In the center of the dash the car has been fitted with an aftermarket Blaupunkt radio and CD player hooked up to four kenwood speakers, two in the front and two in the rear. The odometer currently reads 53,516 unknown mileage. All of this sits atop 14-inch rims. This good looking drop top is ready for its new owner to enjoy! Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Denver welcomes this 1979 Chevrolet Corvette! This one is #s matching Red on Tan, with a Manual Trans behind the L-82. The Chevrolet Corvette (C3) was a sports car that was produced from 1967 to 1982 by Chevrolet for the 1968 through 1982 model years. Engines and chassis components were mostly carried over from the previous generation, but the body and interior were new. It set new sales records with 53,807 produced for the 1979 model year.[4] The C3 is the third generation of the Chevrolet Corvette, and marks the second time the Corvette would carry the Stingray name, though only for the 1969 - 1976 model years. 1979 saw the crossed-flag emblems on the nose and fuel door revert to those seen on the 77 model. Three popular features introduced on the 78 pace car replicas made it into this years production: the new bucket seats, the front and rear spoiler package, and the glass roof panels. The new lightweight “high back seats were made standard equipment. The new seats had better side bolster, provided easier access to the rear storage area, and the seat pair resulted in a weight reduction of about 24 pounds. The bolt-on front and rear spoilers were offered as an option and nearly 7,000 cars were ordered so equipped. Functionally, the spoilers decreased drag by about 15% and increased fuel economy by about a half-mile per gallon. A bigger hit were the glass mirror-tint roof panels, now a regular option, with nearly 15,000 cars so fitted despite their costing $365. All T-tops were now wired into the standard anti-theft alarm system. Tungsten-halogen high-beam headlights became standard as did an AM-FM radio, and for the first time a cassette tape player could be added as a $234 option.[34] Heavy duty shock absorbers could now be ordered without the full Gymkhana suspension. An auxiliary electric engine cooling fan was first installed, but only on L-82 equipped cars with air conditioning.[35] Rocker panels and rear window trim were painted black.[32] Output for all engines increased due to new open flow mufflers. The dual-snorkel air intake introduced on L-82 cars the previous year was now fitted to all cars and the base engine now generated 195 hp (145 kW). The optional L-82 engine increased to 225 hp (168 kW). This was the final year a manual gearbox could be ordered with the L-82 engine. This was also the last year for the M21 close-ratio 4-speed, a gearbox that, as in previous years, required the optional L-82 engine.[15] A wide-ratio 4-speed was available for all cars. Noteworthy is that about 82% of the cars were ordered with manual transmissions in 1968. In 79, less than 20% of the cars were delivered with manual gearboxes.[6] This year reached an all-time high in Corvette popularity. Production hit its peak in 1979 at 53,807, a record that stands to this day.(Source Wilipedia) Dont miss your opportunity to own a piece of real American built Chevrolet Muscle Car history in our Denver Showroom. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Tampa is proud to offer this sharp 1952 MG TD Convertible. This 1952 MG TD Convertible is as pure English built as it gets and is a joy to drive. The style and design of this car are purely timeless. Their older models were so popular to American soldiers during and after the war that MG decided to make a left-hand driving MG for the American people and they did not disappoint. Powering this sports car is a 54 1250 CC XPAG type Inline 4-cylinder engine that is mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. This MG is stunning inside and out, its red exterior corresponds perfectly with its interior. The wood grain dash also compliments the rich camel colored leather interior, which is comfortable and plush, making you realize how stylish the 50s really were. Minor modifications were made, for ease of driving and maintenance, such as: installation of an electric fuel pump, newer style Petronix electronic ignition, and a trickle charger mounted near the battery. This 1952 MG TD for sale has a short list of options, that include: A manual convertible top, a very nice tonneau cover which protects the interior from both the sun and the rain window panels, beauty hub caps, luggage rack, seat belts, a manual telescopic steering wheel, leather interior, and radial tires. The wood was even redone during restoration which took place from 2006-2008. If you are looking for a nice weekend driver, where you can drop the top and cruise the beach, the boulevard, the countryside, or the winding mountain trails, this could be the car for you. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is stoked to present this 1995 Chevrolet Camaro SS for sale at the Milwaukee Showroom. Nothing says special like limited run vehicles and today is offered up to own something truly special in your garage. This Camaro was one of the first few to don the SS title in 1995 being before the SS came into regular production in 1996. The SS Camaro during the “F-Body fourth generation body style was noted because Chevrolet never made the SS during the run. An SS was made by taking a factory Z28 and handing it over to SLP and let them do their bidding which throughout the years included 6-speed manual transmissions over the standard 5-speeds offered in the Z28 package, improvements to the intakes and more aggressive tuning. This car in 1995 embodied the idea of trying new things on an already awesome sports car to make the great even greater. This hot red beauty is noticeable at first sight with a hood scoop and a large spoiler to help set it apart from the crowd at even just a glance. Under the hood of this sports machine lies a 5.7-liter LT1 V8 paired up to a 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. The Camaro is equipped with air conditioning, AM/FM stereo with CD player, power windows, power locks, power brakes, power steering, traction control, anti-lock brakes, keyless entry, and T-Top roof to let the air in on weather permitting days. The opportunity to own something this special doesnt happen to often so dont miss your chance while this gorgeous machine is up for grabs! This 1995 Chevrolet Camaro SS is at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video. Description:

We are happy to offer for sale in our Saint Louis Gateway Classic Cars Showroom this 2-owner 1994 Ford Mustang Cobra Convertible Indianapolis 500 Pace Car. BACKGROUND: There were five official Cobra Pace Cars prepared by Jack Roush at the track that day for the 1994 Indianapolis 500. Three of the five were used on the track, while the other two were just for show. There were 1,000 Indy Pace Car replicas built in 1994, they all featured the Rio Red exterior paint, saddle leather interior, and a tan cloth convertible top. The 5.0L V8 is rated at 240 horsepower. It was capable of a 0-60 mph in 6.9 seconds and a quarter mile time of 15.30 seconds. This particular 1994 Ford Cobra Pace Car features a 5-speed manual transmission that provides an excellent sporty feel. The Cobra now sits on Cobra R aluminum/alloy wheels, but the original Cobra aluminum/alloy wheels that came on the car new are included with the purchase of the car. The odometer reads 14,285, which represents the actual mileage on the car. Options for this 1994 Ford Mustang Cobra Convertible Indianapolis 500 Pace Car include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with USB connectivity, Leather Interior, Driver Airbag, Power Drivers Seat, Lumbar Support, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Mirrors, Cruise Control, Keyless Entry, Automatic Convertible Top, Anti-Lock Brakes, Tilt Wheel, Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. With just 1,000 Pace Car replicas built in 1994 by Ford, this is not an easy car to find, especially with under 15,000 original miles. This would be a great car for a Mustang collection, or one to get out and show at your local car show or cruise. To view this 1994 Ford Mustang Cobra Convertible Indianapolis 500 Pace Car in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis showroom.
