Description:

If you’ve been looking for a C3 Chevrolet Corvette, look no further! This beautiful numbers matching 1972 Stingray is available at our Dallas showroom…for now…but it won’t be for long! This is a fresh restoration with only 10 miles since rebuild and repaint done at J B Corvette Specialists earlier this year. Finished beautifully in Mille Miglia Red with a Dark Saddle Brown vinyl interior. Features include rebuilt 350 V8, automatic transmission, cold AC, power steering, power brakes, T-tops, and believed to only have 68,068 original miles. You’ll turn heads in this beautiful red Corvette with chrome bumpers (1972 was the last year for chrome bumpers at both front and rear, the vacuum actuated pop-up windshield wiper door, as well as the removable rear window common to all 1968-72 coupes). The C3 is the third generation of the Chevrolet Corvette, and marks the second time the Corvette would carry the Stingray name, though only for the 1969 - 1976 model years. This time it was a single word as opposed to Sting Ray as used for the 1963 - 1967 C2 generation. The name would then be retired until 2014 when it was re-introduced with the release of the C7.

Description:

Factory Ford Mustang Race Car. This purpose built Stang, has enjoyed the good life flying around the track. Now with only 7850 miles on her and the recent paint job in 2015, she is looking for a new home. The Ford Racing Mustang FR500 is a highly tuned race variant of the Ford Mustang, featuring a V8 engine. These are turn key race cars not designed for public road use. Each FR500 model is built with a unique Ford Racing number, and not a DOT VIN. Each is built when ordered through Ford Racing. Each FR500 is built by the same plant, in Flat Rock (Michigan), as the standard Mustang. Powered by Fords 4.6L V8 engine, it is rated at 325HP. The FR500S is often slotted in between the FR500C (Boy Racer) and FR500GT (Man Racer). The car was designed by both Ford Racing and Miller Motorsports for the Ford Racing Mustang Challenge series (a racing series founded by Larry Miller). The car features similar aerodynamic parts like those used on the FR500GT, but uses a DOT approved racing tire BF Goodrich g-Force R1. With the end of the Ford Racing Mustang Challenge, the FR500S has been homologated for competition in the SCCA World Challenge GTS class. The transmission is the same six-speed Tremec T6060 used in the Shelby GT500 paired to a severe-duty clutch. The rear axle assembly is borrowed from the Bullitt Mustang parts bin with a 3.73:1 ratio and sturdier pinion bearing, with a Ford Racing/Torsen limited-slip differential installed. To view the car in greater detail, including an HD video and 100+ HD pictures please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com or our Denver showroom. Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our Houston showroom is this gorgeous 1967 Chevelle Malibu. The Chevelle was intended to compete with the Fairlane, and was supposed to reflect a car similar in size to the Classic Tri-Five of the decade prior. They would go down as being some of the most memorable cars of our time. The Malibu continued its reign as the leading seller of the Chevelle, and would continue to do so throughout the Chevelle’s life, because it boasted the highest number of model options with the 4-door sport sedan, 2-door sport coupe, convertible, 4-door sedan, and 2-seat station wagon. One could get anything from a base model 300 coupe with a 230 CI inline 6 with a 3 on the tree, to a 4 door wagon with a 327 and a 4-speed manual, to a fire-breathing 375 HP 396 CID V8 in the SS model. If you wanted it, chances are it could be found in a Chevelle. With its classic Coke bottle styling, the 66 and 67 models were instant hits, and continue to stand the test of time. This 67, however, comes complete with a drivetrain on steroids, while deliberately maintaining a sleeper look. Under the hood, youll discover that theres a fuel injected 468 CID Chevrolet V8 that fires up with the powerful attention-grabbing snarl that is the unmistakable bellow of a big-cammed Rat Motor. This big block is equipped with a properly-dialed-in MSD Atomic Fuel Injection system, and a March serpentine pully system. A big Griffin aluminum radiator keeps this big mill properly cooled. Backing up the big rat is a GM 700R4 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission that twists a set of 3.73:1 gears in its 12-bolt Posi rear end. Its coated headers will look good for a very long time as they suck the exhaust gases out into 3 dual exhaust system. The body is in very good condition, and its bathed in a nice shade of Gold Mist Metallic (color code 51U). The factory drums in the front were replaced with discs, as well as having a power booster added. The rallye wheels continue the sleeper motif of this classic. Open the doors, and the Medium Gold front buckets and rear bench seat, with their cloth inserts are definitely a throwback to 1967. If you have been wanting a classic car that has stood the test of time but don’t want take the rest of time to pay for it, then this Rat-powered Chevelle should be exactly what you need. Options on this 1967 Chevrolet Chevelle Malibu include Power Brakes, Power Steering, Vinyl and Cloth Interior, Seat Belts, and Radial Tires wrapped around Rallye Wheels. For more information on this 1967 Chevelle Malibu for sale, please call the Houston showroom at (832) 243-6220; or email us at Houston@GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

It’s 1957, The Mackinac suspension bridge opens connecting the Upper and Lower peninsulas of the U.S. state of Michigan, and this gorgeous Yellow ’57 Chevy rolls into showrooms in the heart of the motor city for sale. Since then she has been rebuilt with custom interior, Dakota digital dash, 327 V8, electronic ignition, aluminum radiator, TH400 automatic transmission, CD player, tilt wheel, power steering, power brakes, and a killer stereo system. And only 16,000 miles since the rebuild. This car was built to drive, and look good while doing it. The Chevrolet 210 was the midrange model of the Chevrolet car from 1953 to 1957. It took its name by shortening the production series number (2100) by one digit to capitalize on the 1950s trend toward numerical auto names. The numerical designation 210 was also sporadically used in company literature. It replaced the Styleline DeLuxe model available in previous years. The Two-Ten was discontinued after the 1957 model year to be replaced by the Biscayne. This your chance to own a piece of American history today. With less than 10,000 miles on it since it received a rotisserie Restoration completed by Greg Carlson in Rock Island, IL. The previous owner wanted this to be as close to a GTX restoration as possible. The right engine! – 440 Super Commando - Rebuilt in 1994, engine was out of a 1968 GTX. The Correct Transmission! – 727 Automatic transmission w/ shift kit, also rebuilt in 1994. Posi Traction Rear end with 8-3/4 gears. Also equipped with features like Power steering, Power Brakes, Deluxe Bumper Guards, Correct Magnum Rallye Wheels and red line tires and aluminized dual exhaust with correct chrome extensions that emit a healthy growl when you step on the Gas! The Glass all around is in excellent shape as well as the overall chrome accents throughout the car. The entire car was repainted red with the black racing stripes. The Engine compartment, trunk and complete underside of the car was also painted to look better factory. In 67 the Belvedere GTX hit the streets for the first time in two years. They were the perfect blend of style and substance. Not too flashy or gaudy, with some classy touches throughout that let you know you’re in a higher end car. In short, the ‘67 GTX was the first true luxury muscle car Chrysler ever built. When you open the driver’s door and sit yourself behind the wheel of this classic muscle car the condition of the interior truly grabs you as it was completely redone in 2002, new headliner, door panels, carpeting, seats, floor mats and seat belts too! Equipped with a working stock AM Radio, all gauges work except for the clock. This still has the original key tags. This car has won over 200 trophies, most of them 1st Place! Description:

Gateway Classic Cars presents this 1972 Ford Maverick at our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ! I can honestly say that this Maverick is in better condition than the day it was new. It is the most correct 1972 Maverick that I have ever seen. The car is restored to original standards and equipment level as verified by a Deluxe Marti Report. The Gold Glow Metallic Paint Ford #5079-A and the Ginger / Black Cloth/Vinyl Bench seat are as pristine as they were in 1972. The last time you saw a Maverick like this was in a Ford showroom over 40 years ago. The Maverick was originally conceived and marketed as a subcompact import fighter, intended to do battle with the Volkswagen Beetle and newer Japanese rivals for North America from Honda, Datsun, and Toyota. The Falcon, Fords compact offering since 1960 and main rival to the Chevrolet Nova and Dodge Dart, had seen its sales decimated by the introduction of the Mustang in 1964, and despite a redesign in 1966, was unable to meet the then forthcoming U.S. National Highway Traffic Safety Administration motor vehicle standards that would come into effect on January 1, 1970. Consequently, the Falcon was discontinued midway through the 1970 model year, and the Maverick repositioned as Fords compact entry, giving the Nova and Dart a new rival. The Mavericks styling featured the long hood, fastback roof, and short deck popularized by the Mustang. It featured simple and inexpensive to manufacture pop-out rear side windows rather than roll-downs. This Maverick is well optioned with, Tinted Glass, Vinyl Top, C-4 Automatic, Power steering, Air Conditioning, AM radio, Accent Group, Interior Trim Option, Rear Defogger and Tinted Glass Complete. Oh, and of course the 302 ci V8. Backing this is a TH350 transmission and a Ford 9 rear end. In all four corners it has brand new wheels and tires. The body is beautifully finished in cobalt blue with ghost flames on the front end. This color is sure to stand out in a crowd. The interior is a bit more subtle with gray cloth upholstery all around. The dash has a custom Shark gauge cluster and the AC controls. A tilt column helps drivers of all sizes get comfortable. Nicely integrated into the headliner is the stereo and power window controls. Hit a button under the dash to pop the trunk which uniquely opens to the side to allow plenty of room to load in baggage. The rod has updated lighting all around with chrome headlamps up front with integrated turn signals. The rear has LED brake lights which are nice and bright. This is a sharp looking ride with plenty of modern features. You can see this 1936 Chevrolet Sedan in greater detail in our St. Louis showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

This awesome one-off custom 1935 Buick Series 40 is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. Streetrods have been a staple in the car for world for an extremely long time. This Streetrod has been customized to a degree that is sure to make the next owner proud to call it their own. Starting with smoothing the body by removing the bumpers the car began to take shape. The opera windows were closed off with a custom skull carved into a piece of sheet metal which was laid on top. Turn on the red LED behind it and watch as it comes to life. The skull theme is carried on into the grill which is one of the neatest pieces I have seen. The red lights behind it illuminate it and help to showoff how much detail went into this build. Even the side marker lights have been cut out into skulls, but the best has to be the custom hood ornament with its little red eyes glowing at you. The body has been sitting back on the original frame which was cleaned up for a nicer look. The front end has been switched out to a more modern Mustang II style giving it a better ride. The rear end is courtesy of a S10 with the ladder bar suspension helping to plant all the power to the ground. Speaking of power, the 383 stroker under that hood is enough to wake the dead. Consisting of Procomp Aluminum Heads, a Holley 750 Double Pumper, and HEI Distributor this is one rowdy small block. An aluminum dress up kit makes it look good while Hedman Headers take care of the exhaust. The Richmond 4 speed makes this rod, a blast to drive and something not seen in too many of them. Open the doors and you will notice it’s a clear shot straight through with no B pillar to obstruct the view. With reinforcements added you don’t have to worry about the body beginning to sag over time. The front seats are out of a 95 Mustang and have been recovered to match the rest of the car. Although it appears to have manual windows hit the handle down or up and the power window moves accordingly. If you have been looking for a great custom streetrod that is sure to grab everyone’s attention this 35 Series Buick is the one. Options on this 1935 Buick Series 40 include; Power Windows, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Seat, Manual Convertible Top, Seat Belts, and Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. Description:

Now available in our DFW-Showroom is this impressive 1971 Chevrolet Chevelle. The 1971 Chevelle’s were treated to new front-end and rear-end styling that included large Power-Beam single-unit headlights, a reworked grille and bumper, and integral park/signal/marker lights. New dual round taillights were integral with the back bumper. Because SS models suffered heavy insurance surcharges, Chevrolet introduced the Heavy Chevy at midyear, which was based on the base Chevelle, and was available with any V8 engine except the 454, which was exclusive to SS models. The Heavy Chevy was only available with the base Chevelle sport coupe and was primarily a dress up option and even it was limited to options available on the standard Chevelle sport coupe; vinyl carpeting, front bench seat, no center console shift, etc. Both 350 V8 engines, as well as the dual exhaust 402 cid V8 engine, were available without the SS option; only the LS5 454 V8 required the SS option. This sweet Chevelle, has a Cowl Induction hood, which allows the 350-V8 to consume plenty of air and breaths well as you’re cruising your local strip or getting on it from stop light to stop light! Also, the headers on the 350-V8 are going to be well preserved, since being dipped in ceramic coating and this 350-V8 connects to an Automatic Turbo 350 transmission. This is all tied in by a classy Mulsanne Blue paint job and Sandalwood White interior, which is completed even further by a set of custom Billet Specialties wheels! This ride also comes with vintage air already installed and ready to go! Other options included: Power Brakes, Front disc brakes, Power Steering, Dual Exhaust, Retro sound Bluetooth, & Am/Fm radio. This Chevelle is going to make some new owner very happy, very soon… Will this be you? Description:

Our Kansas City Showroom is proud to offer this beautiful example of what an iconic second generation Mustang should be. The 1970’s welcomed many things we are glad to forget such as bell-bottom pants and disco but one thing to remember is the second generation Mustang. This very well restored 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 Tribute has a serious 429CID Cobra Jet under the hood paired to a smooth shifting C-6 Automatic Transmission. Originally, this Mustang started out its life as a 1971 Mustang Fastback M-Code. At first glance, you notice the gorgeous sweeping body lines that are exaggerated underneath the gorgeous Red paint. The paint is laid down professionally and the original Mach 1 style trim let’s the rest of the road know that you are not just another Mustang. All the chrome looks show worthy and this Mustang is a toy that demands attention every time it is enjoyed. The 1970’s saw a gas crisis that limited production of high powered, big horsepower cars and ultimately ended the horsepower wars between the American muscle car companies that thrived off what the public wanted. The second generation Mustang was short lived and definitely holds a place in automotive history. The desirable color combination resting on chrome rally wheels make this ’71 Mustang a timeless classic that will always look appealing. With nicely upholstered high back bucket seats, power steering, power brakes and AM/FM Cassette, this Mustang makes driving a blast every time you get behind the wheel. Round jet style dual exhaust outlets were incorporated into the vertical bumper extensions and the rear bumper was entirely redesigned. Painted in black this car is sleek and smooth with long lines and accented by chrome trim and chrome bumpers. The bullet nosed bumper and sleek rear fins on this Cadillac bring back the old with what they still use on the modern Cadillacs. The interior is every bit of original with light and dark brown cloth bench seats. The rear is spacious and provides plenty of leg room for you and your passengers to stretch out and ride comfortably on any length of a ride. Also, this 1954 Cadi for sale has one of the first ever rear A/C systems installed in the trunk of this Cadillac for sale. Description:

For sale in our Dallas showroom is one of the most incredible 1952 Chevrolet Styleline Deluxe that you have ever seen. Formerly part of the Sam Pack collection this is a fine automobile with extremely tasteful upgrades. The 235 CID Inline six cylinder engine was upgraded using an Offenhauser intake manifold with dual Holley carburetors. On the exhaust side there are Fenton headers through custom pipes to Borla side exit mufflers. The electrical system was updated to 12 volt for easy startups and brighter lighting. Vintage air takes care of the climate control so comfort wasn’t forgotten. During the frame off restoration the suspension was lowered with two inch drop spindles. A 12 bolt differential was added as well as a stainless steel fuel tank. The interior was redone with black and white leather and maintains that vintage hotrod look. The exterior was painted with PPG Super Black piant. The original stainless and chrome trim was put back on in better than new condition. The wheel s were upgraded to 18inch Cragar S/S wheels and low profile tires for that restomod look. It really doesn’t get much better than this. The features include AC, Leather interior, Radial Tires, and Aluminum Alloy wheels. For more HD pictures and video visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com/carlist2?src=2&location=DFW. Description:

In the same year the nation was facing the start of Watergate and the film premiere of “The Godfather”, Chevrolet was producing the first generation of their personal luxury car the Monte Carlo. This car was designed to be the best of all worlds with many options and plenty of performance to move a car of this size down the road. This one in particular features the largest of three engines, sporting the 454 CID V8. Despite the downgraded horsepower rating from 1971, this big block Chevy still was putting out 270 horsepower and was driven through a strong TH400 automatic transmission. This Monte Carlo is a true survivor with only 36,000 original miles on the numbers matching drive train. The highly optioned interior is also original and in excellent shape. Slide inside and you will find yourself surrounded in luxury with cushy bucket seats, wood-grained dash, and the classic horseshoe style GM shifter. As you slip it into gear and set off on your cruise, this low-mileage classic will make you feel like you have stepped back into time. The ride is smooth and soft as you float across the surface of road in style. If you decide to stop by and pick up some friends, you won’t have to worry about the back of the car drooping down with the functioning level control system that was a rare option and was equipped straight from the factory. This car is one of the few remaining numbers matching 454 cars and the only one documented in the registry. After 18 years of ownership the current owner is ready to part with this beauty, but needs it to go to a good home! This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1972 Chevrolet Monte Carlo in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com.
