Description:

This is your chance to own the first year of the three-year limited release Cosmos Purple Metallic GTO. With only 3 owners and 77,741 original miles, this LS1 powered GTO is sure to turn heads anywhere you go. The GTO was assembled by GMs Holden subsidiary at Elizabeth. It was equipped with the 5.7 liter LS1 V8 engine for the 2004 model year, the same engine found in the concurrent model year Chevrolet Corvette, with a choice of a 6-speed manual transmission or a 4-speed automatic. Changes from the Australian-built Monaro included bracing additions to the body to meet U.S. crash standards, a corporate Pontiac front facia, new badging, GTO stitching on the front seats, and a revised exhaust system. GM Engineers benchmarked the sound of the 1964 GTO held in the Pontiac historical collection, as well as other LS1-powered vehicles, while working with the exhaust vendor to tune the system. The effort was made to make the new GTO invoke the same sound as the original while still meeting the noise threshold required by some states. The 2004 GTO exhaust was a true dual system that followed the original Monaro exhaust routing, thus both tailpipes exited on the driver side of the vehicle. General Motors claimed performance of 5.3 seconds to 60 and a 13.8 second quarter mile time, which was closely verified by several magazine tests. To view the car in greater detail, including an HD video and 100+ HD pictures please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com or our Denver showroom. Call 303-872-4722 for more information.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is excited to welcome this awesome 1964 AMC Rambler. The Rambler is an automobile manufactured by the American Motors Corporation (AMC) between 1958 and 1969. It was the second incarnation of AMCs forerunner. The second-generation Rambler compact was sold under the Nash and Hudson Motors marques from 1954 and 1955. Many viewed the second-generation design as the best looking and were arguably the most attractive compacts of all time in Detroit in the early 1960s. Originally sporting a white paint job, this beautiful Rambler has gone through light restoration work in the last decade as well as routine maintenance. It now sports a fresh coat of bright red paint that really pops with the black leather interior and top. The inline 6 powerplant has had a complete engine rebuild and is paired to the original 3 speed manual transmission. That too was given attention as well with components such as the pressure plate, clutch disk, release bearing being replaced and having the flywheel resurfaced. All necessary bushings and seals were replaced as well. Additional features included with this AMC include an automatic convertible top, AM Radio, Hub Caps and white wall tires that really make a statement either driving down the road or presenting itself stationary in your garage. This Rambler will have you smiling from ear to ear every-time its taken out for a cruise. Its ready to go and the only thing left that this AMC needs is a new owner. A folder full of receipts and paperwork is available to show upon request. Contents are too much to list. To view this 1964 AMC Rambler in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ. Now available at our Philadelphia showroom, Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to offer this all-original 1978 Oldsmobile Cutlass Salon! Oldsmobile’s bestselling model underwent a facelift in 1978 due to increasing pressure for safer and more fuel-efficient vehicles. Enter the A-body platform, the means by which GM would downsize the Cutlass. Both the Grand Prix and Malibu shared this platform and it proved to aid in GM’s strive for energy efficient compact vehicles. The radical restyling was met with mixed reactions, but nevertheless the Cutlass remained a cornerstone offering for GM and served the brand well until another redesign in 1979. This 1978 Olds Salon fastback coupe is a true survivor that retains the pure essence of the late 1970s. Owned by the same family since new, this car has had a loving home and is a time capsule! Wearing original beige paint with a matching interior, this Salon is powered by the numbers matching 260 CID V8 engine that purrs like a kitten! Description:

The Volkswagen Beetle has grown a huge following from many different groups of automotive enthusiasts from hot rodders to hippies these cars have been adored for generations! This 1973 Super Beetle has been well maintained over the years and a recent restoration to bring it back to its former glory. In 2014 the car was stripped down, sand blasted, and put back together piece by piece using new screws and gaskets. The fenders were all replaced with new ones and the whole body was treated with an anti-rust coating and then painted over with a gorgeous two-tone orange and black color combination. Inside the Super Beetle all the panels were lined with Dynomat to reduce road noise and limit vibrations. The floors were then covered in new carpets, reupholstered 1973 rear seat reinstalled, and new Corveau sport seats installed up front. The rare black headliner was installed and all of the sunroof components were refurbished. Overall the interior looks great and is very comfortable even on a longer drive! Another subtle change to this Beetle includes the more sought after 1960s front and rear bumpers that really set the look of this car off right. There were some big differences between the Beetle and the Super Beetle especially in 1973. These included a superior front suspension with spring instead of the torsion bars, the body was extended 2 over the regular Beetle, and the windshield was curved for less wind resistance. These upgrades made a dramatic difference in the ride quality and performance of the beetle and are a ton of fun to drive! The 1600cc air-cooled engine is plenty of powerful and paired with the 4-speed manual transmission adding to the sporty feel. This Super Beetle is a great car for someone looking for a weekend cruiser or something to take down to the local car show. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 1973 Volkswagen Super Beetle in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Now available in our Philadelphia location is a 1973 MG MGB Roadster. There are only a handful of cars that can deliver this driving experience. Thirty years after the last Bs rolled out of MG’s factory in Abingdon, there’s room for a fresh perspective. Instead of knocking MG for falling behind the times, we might recognize the company for keeping the British sports car alive. These efforts were not in vain, as the later Bs sold respectably in the United States. There may have been faster and more modern cars on the market, but the rubber-bumper MGB offered the traditional thrills of a British roadster to a whole new generation. This one is in classic White with a black vinyl interior and convertible top. It has a four-speed transmission that delivers that true driving experience. In the mid 70’s these cars were a popular choice with young America. They were known for their economical gas mileage and maintenance schedule and were a common sight on the road. This little roadster has allot left in the tank and will give its new owners plenty of enjoyment. Backing this powerplant is a smooth shifting automatic transmission, giving you that floating on a cloud feeling. This 1988 Cadillac for sale has been well cared for and driven very sparely in fact with just a little over 46,202 miles on the odometer and the car being 30 years old, the math says this car has been driven just 1,540.06 miles a year. Looking at this the other way, an average for any standard vehicle is about 12,000 miles a year, so 12,000 X 27 = 360,000 this equals the number of miles an average 1988 Cadillac has on it. This 1988 Cadillac Brougham for sale looks like it has even less mileage on it. This Cadillac for sale has been in the same family since its original purchase, that is a very rare quality that we do not see that often. The interior looks like it was sat on, once! As far as the way it rides and drive, well, it is a Cadillac. Plenty of power and weight to smooth out any potholes you might encounter. In fact, we all know that driving a car like this is a lot like driving your living room complete with the sofa. Luxury was the name of the game for Cadillac in the early 80’s, style and class have always been a part of the Cadillac name. Now while it does not have road mapping sensors that lock your latte down if it sees rough road ahead it does have the power equipment that we have come to expect with the Cadillac name. Options for this 1988 Cadillac Brougham for sale include: Air conditioning, AM/FM Cassette, Power steering, Power brakes, Power windows, Power locks, Power seats, Power locks, Anti- lock brakes, Tilt steering, Plush Leather interior and Radial white wall tires wrapped around classic steel wheels adorned with chrome wire caps. A $237.37 document fee will be added to the sales price. All purchases may be subject to any applicable tax, title, & licensing fees. Description:

For sale in our Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas showroom is this really nice 1985 GMC Caballero. The word Caballero is from the Spanish language. Its most common definition today in the Americas is gentleman, though its technical definition is horseman or knight”. The Caballero and the fifth generation El Camino shared their mechanical parts with the Chevrolet Malibu series, but rode on a 9-inch longer wheelbase. Other than different nameplates and minor trim variations, it is difficult to distinguish a Caballero from an El Camino at more than 10 paces distance. It was largely for this reason that the Caballero did not sell in the higher volumes that the El Camino did over the years (many never even knew a GMC version existed), though that rarity now counts as a plus to many Caballero fans and collectors. Exterior appearance remained largely the same over the trucks nine-year lifespan, with the biggest changes through the years coming mostly in the form of grille design. For 1982, the front end was changed to a full-width grille design housing four headlights and a four-row crosshatch pattern; this persisted through the vehicles demise in 1987. Caballero interiors featured a bench seat in standard models, though an upgrade to bucket seats with a center console and floor-mounted shifter was available. Most models with automatic transmission carried the shifter on the steering column. Cloth or vinyl upholstery choices were offered in a variety of colors. The instrument panel originally featured a strip style of speedometer, with the needle making a long sweep across a horizontal line of numbers to indicate speed. This was changed for 1981 to a more conventional round dial format. The 1987 model year was the end of the line for GMs North American coupe utilities. For more information regarding this 1985 GMC Caballero contact our Dallas-Fort Worth Showroom at (817) 310-9400 or email us at Dallas@GatewayClassicCars.com and be sure to check out our website to see 100+ photos and an HD video of the car starting and driving at GatewayClassicCars.com.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is excited to offer this fun-loving 1973 Volkswagen Super Beetle for sale right now in our Arizona showroom. The Super Beetle was marketed in the United States as the top of the line for the Beetle range and this example for sale certainly lives up to that reputation. This Bug has been recently stripped and repainted at an expense of over $3,000 and shines brightly in its ‘Saturn Yellow’. The jet-black trimming, red racing stripes and powder-coated mag wheels with oversized radial tires make for a stylish touch. Originally, the Super Beetle came with a peppy 1600cc motor but ours has been upgraded even further to a spirited 1915cc tied to a 4-speed short-shift, synchro manual transmission. The engine rebuild was performed just 1000 miles ago and all receipts are included with the car, so the fun with this Bug is just getting started! Inside, you won’t believe you’re in a Volkswagen while you’re sitting in the vinyl Recaro seats and fully carpeted floor. This is the kind of car you can enjoy every day as well as impress people at car shows due to its build quality. This is a very competitive asking price for a car of this quality and it will not last long. Jump on this one today by calling our helpful and knowledgeable sales team in Scottsdale at (623) 900-4884 or by emailing us directly with any inquiries at scottsdale@gatewayclassiccars.com See more at: http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/SCT/289/1973-Volkswagen-Super-Beetle

Description:

Now available in our Philadelphia showroom is this 1966 Chevrolet Corvair-Monza. The 1966 lineup remained essentially unchanged from 1965. The steering column was changed to a two-piece design with universal joint, lessening the danger of intrusion during a front-end collision (a mid-1965 running change). A plastic air dam was installed below the front valence panel to conceal the front suspension and underbody and lessen crosswind sensitivity. In front, the lock door emblem (covering the lockset for the trunk lock) was changed from red to blue and featured a shorter bar. Air-conditioned cars received a new condenser that was mounted in front of the engine, eliminating previous efficient but huge, awkward condenser that was mounted atop the engine, requiring its removal out of the way for most under the hood servicing. This 1966 Corvair- Convertible was sent to the President of the Delaware-Corvair Club, who took the time to go over the entire vehicle, spending over 85 plus labor hours on this vehicle. The following work was completed during this time: Converted to Dual master cylinder, New front brake lines, New brake cylinder and hoses (both front and back), Pitman arms- bushings- & idler arm, Carburetor rebuilt, Replaced Alternator, New engine wiring harness, New tailpipes, New fan belt, New turn signal lever, New rear motor mount, New carpet in the trunk, New Antenna, New windshield wipers, New convertible “top boot” foam pads, New oil-pan and gaskets, New throttle valve/O-ring, New rear brake cable, New axle seals, New battery, New door seals plates, This Corvair has also been converted to an electric fuel-pump & Crane electric ignition. – As you can tell, a lot of love has been invested into this vehicle. The heart of this vehicle is a 6-cyclinder, which produces a 110 HP to the wheels and is connected to a 2-speed transmission. The powertrain has been converted to a 1965 powertrain. The solid white vinyl interior is in pretty good shape throughout, with only minor blemishes on the back-driver’s side. The convertible top is in good condition too, so you’ll look very sharp, top up or down. All this sits on a sweet set of wired wheels & white wall tires, with a Chevy emblem on the “knock-off” portion. This Corvair is going to be cruising around some town and enjoyed by a new owner very soon…. Will this be you? To view this 1966 Chevrolet Corvair Monza in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ.
