Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1966 Shelby Cobra Tribute. The classic car world is full of could’ve, would’ve, and should’ve which is why the replica market is so popular these days. The car that you had to have as a kid that is now worth millions of dollars can be yours for pennies on the dollar, and for many of us that car is a Shelby Cobra. This example is a 1966 Cobra replica that was manufactured by the Everett-Morrison company who have been building them since 1983.The fiberglass pieces are made from the original molds ensuring that almost identical look. Painted in a dark British racing green and a silver stripe down the middle this Cobra is guaranteed to stand out in the crowd. If that doesn’t get their attention the sound coming from the blacked-out side pipes will. The 408 Stroker motor has plenty of power yet is mild enough to be street driven without any headaches. The 4-speed top loader makes driving this car an absolute blast on those curvy back country roads especially with its fully independent suspension. This Cobra uses suspension components from a C4 Corvette turning what use to be a machete into a Samurai sword. Mounted on a set of aluminum wheels the 12” tires in the back assist in getting all that power to the ground. The interior of the car is clean and having a little more room than a lot of the ones I have been in. The black low back bucket seats are classic cobra design with the wooden steering wheel tying it all together. If you want a great replica that is guaranteed to turn heads and not cost a million bucks this green snake is perfect. Options on this 1966 Shelby Cobra Tribute include, Vinyl Interior, and Aluminum Wheels with Radial Tires. This 1966 Shelby Cobra Tribute is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For additional information please call our knowledgeable staff at (812)294-1555 or email us at Louisville@GatewayClassicCars.com. If you would like to see it in person, come to our Louisville Showroom located at 13576 Blue Lick Rd., Memphis, IN 47143. http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/LOU/1666/1966-AC-Cobra-Replica

Description:

Now Featured in our Denver showroom is this well-kept and maintained 2004 Chevrolet SSR with less than 16,000 miles! There is no denying the new age retro styling was in full effect when this beauty was released in 2004. Ford released its Thunderbird and the GT40 while the Germans jumped in with their version of the Beetle, but Chevrolet really took it to a whole new level with the SSR. The huge bulging fenders and vintage style grill made this new era classic one of the most over the top cars and gained a big following. This example with a clean CARFAX with no issues and documented mileage. The red paint is as bright as they come and grabs a lot of attention. Hit the button for the top and watch in amazement as this SSR transforms from a truck to a roadster with a bed at the flip of a switch. Under the hood is one of the great engines to come out of GM; the 5.3L V8. These engines have become popular to build and have unlimited amount of bolt-ons for power. This engine can easily get up to 400 horsepower quick. The AOD transmission shifts nicely with firm and positive upshifts just as it should be. The black leather interior is plush and extremely comfortable with the emphasis on sport not truck. The buckets have plenty of side bolster and are guaranteed to keep you planted in the seat. Pop the bed topper and the wooden bed is revealed keeping with the retro styling. If you have been wanting to get into one of these new age retro rods that can be driven without it depreciating a ton this Red beauty is perfect. This vehicle is located in our Denver showroom. You can view this 2004 Chevrolet SSR greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (303) 872-4722 or email us at Denver@gatewayclassiccars.com.

Description:

For sale at Gateway Classic Cars in our St. Louis showroom is a 1970 Chevrolet Nova. This Nova is way meaner than one may think. Power for this bad machine comes from 450 cubic inch small block using an aftermarket Rocket block. This special block allows for a bit more displacement without sacrificing the blocks integrity. The go fast goodies inside include a full solid roller valve train, Manley connecting rods, 10.5:1 JE Pistons, Quick Fuel carburetor and AFR aluminum high flow cylinder heads to name a few. Power is estimated in the 600 horsepower range. Firing up this amazing power plant will impress any gear head. Many would think that an engine with such power and menacing sound would be a difficult one to drive. Believe it or not, this one is very well mannered. The rear end is a Ford 9 inch and is equipped with 3.00:1 gear set for easy highway use. Since the drivetrain build, the car has covered a modest 1,000 miles and is ready for more use and enjoyment. Slowing down such a machine means that drums wont do the job anymore. In place is a new pair of Wilwood front disc brakes while drums remain out back, but still doing their job. Weld Racing wheels look right at home on this Nova as does the Green on Green paint scheme. Adding a little flair to the exterior in addition to the wheels is a set mild stripes that barley show themselves. You may even call them ghost stripes. Inside is stock Nova with exception of the aftermarket gauges. The original bench seat is quite comfy and looks really good. Someone could very easily swap them out for a pair of buckets if they so desired. For more information on this 1970 Chevrolet Nova, call 618-271-3000 or swing by our St. Louis showroom. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this awesome 1965 Shelby Cobra tribute. This vehicle will be sold on a rebuilt title as the state it was originally built in titled it that way. The Shelby Cobra is one of the most radical cars to ever be built. This 65 Cobra has taken that classic body shape and pretty much threw everything else away. Sitting on a custom built 2x4 tube chassis with a Mustang II front suspension this beauty handles like a dream. The body itself was made by hand, laid and rolled fiberglass that has steel reinforcements laid in at all the stress and hinge points. The fitment of the panels is spot on and what you would expect from such a high-end build. The paint is slick and smooth showing off those classic lines beautifully. With huge side-pipes hanging down from the side of the vehicle this is a car that will not go unnoticed. Under the hood is a modern 5.0 HO engine that is sure to get this little car down the road no problem. Just in case that isn’t enough the Vortech Supercharger give an extra boost, literally. The 345 HP on a mild tune is very streetable until you mash the gas then all bets are off as this red rocket is sure to get away from you if you’re not careful. The Borg & Warner T5 transmission shifts out nicely handling the power of this beauty perfectly. Keeping everything cool under that hood is a set of electric fans just like on the original. The rear end is an 8.8 unit just like the one used in Late Model Mustangs. The 2-piece knock off aluminum wheels are a great finishing touch with the front consisting of 245/50/16 tires and the back having a massive 275/50/16 this Cobra is ready to hug the corners or just run flat-out. Whatever the driving situation may be this 65 Cobra can handle it and then some. Options on this 1965 Shelby Cobra include; AM/FM/CD, Power Steering, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, and Aluminum 2 Piece wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this awesome 1956 Chevrolet Delray. Most will say that the Tri-Five Chevrolet is as American as it gets. Brought into production for the launch of Chevrolet’s ground breaking new engine, the small block, no one had any idea the importance of these cars. The small block would live on for decades and is even still widely used today. This 56 has used a much more modern Small block as its power plant. Increasing displacement to 350 Cubic inches the engine can produce a lot more lower end power without losing any of the top end punch that they’re known for. Decked out with chrome valve covers this small block looks as good as it sounds. With a nice lopey idle the cam lets everyone know that this isn’t just a run of the mill small block. With other chrome accents under the hood the engine bay has just enough shine to show it off but not so much that you won’t want to drive it. The 4 speed Muncie transmission controlled by the Hurst shifter makes driving this beauty a blast. The black paint is slick and shows off how nice the body is while the chrome breaks it up just enough. The inside is where this one off really comes into its own. The seats are covered in genuine leather not vinyl and boy does it make a difference. The black and cream go nicely together especially against the painted black interior. With additional touches of chrome throughout the interior compliments the exterior perfectly. If you have wanted an extremely cool car that is just a little different but not completely over the top look no further. Options on this 1956 Chevrolet Delray include; Power Steering, Tilt, Leather Interior, and Aluminum Wheels wrapped in Radial Tires. Description:

This awesome 1957 Chevrolet Bel-Air tribute is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 1957 Chevy was the ending to one of the most successful designs in automotive history. Starting off in 1955 with the Shoe-Box the tri-fives were an instant success. The 57 however would be the most notable out of the 3 with its “just right fins” them the most sought after of the 3 years. This black example is what most are looking for in todays market. The paint is slick and clean showing just how straight the body of this beauty is. With the chrome shined up and accenting the black perfectly its easy to see why black is the most popular color of choice. The blue dot tail lights are a great look and something you would see back in the late 50’s and early 60’s. The wheels on the car give it that classic hotrod look with the modern radial tires helping with traction in all conditions. Under the hood a stout and strong running small block 350 sits nicely between the frame rails. The Muncie 4 speed shifts through the gears nicely with the clutch having a great feel with plenty of life left in it. The interior if the car is in great shape and shows nicely. The bench seat upfront is comfortable and what you would expect in a 57 Chevy. The 4-speed shifter sits in the perfect spot with your hand falling right on top of it. The updated stereo looks right at home in the dash while sounding good doing it. If you have been wanting a 57 that looks great and drives even nicer this is the Tri-Five for you. Description:

This 1972 Chevrolet Camaro is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The 2nd generation Camaro was a huge success for GM running a total of 11 years. The fastback body design with its huge rear glass was a far cry from the 1ST Generation. This beautiful Silver with Black stripes split bumper actually began life as a SS396 which is super cool. The 396 has been replaced with a monster 496 that was built with one thing in mind, going fast in a straight line! The Brodix heads are made out of aluminum with many saying they are the best in the business. The huge aluminum radiator keeps everything at the perfect operating temperature with dual electric fans giving you that extra vote of confidence. The 1050 CFM Quick Fuel Dominator carb feeds this animal the high-octane gas it needs. If that’s not enough power for you hit the button on the fogger system and hold on for dear life. The TH350 Transmission was built to handle all that power with a trans brake allowing for true off the line hole shots. The Moser 10 bolt rear end has 3.89 Moser axles allowing for off the line acceleration while pulling hard through all 3 gears. With all that power propelling this beauty the brakes need to be just as good. The 4-wheel disc set up with its Wilwood master cylinder is exactly what this thing needed. Of course, going fast is fun but why not look good while doing it? The paint on the car is slick with a great shine while that fiberglass cowl hood ties in perfectly to the build. The RS front clip looks great but there is no way to tell if it came from the factory or not. Open the doors and you will see an interior that is very tasteful. The roll cage was done to keep you safe while still allowing for plenty of room. The front buckets are comfortable and look right at home with the racing harnesses keeping you right where you need to be. The ratchet style shifter is just where you want it allowing for quick shifts with a simple slap. Normally when cars like this are built you get either a car that looks great but lacks in the performance department or vice versa. Why not get this one and have a beautiful car that performs like it looks? Options on this 1972 Camaro include, AM/FM/CD, Power Steering, Vinyl Interior, Seat Belts, and Billet Wheels with Radial Tires. This 1972 Chevrolet Camaro is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD Video at www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Now available in our DFW Showroom is this 1955 iconic Ford Thunderbird! The Thunderbird was considered a more dignified, personal luxury cruiser during its release. It had roll-up windows and standard V-8 power, both things that were not available on the first Corvettes in the 50’s. Other features included a removable fiberglass top, a fabric convertible top, and fender skirts for the rear wheels. There was one engine for the first 1955 T-Birds, and it was the 292 cid Y-Block V-8 fitted with a single four-barrel carburetor. With the standard 3-speed manual transmission, this engine made 193 horsepower, and with the optional Ford-o-Matic transmission, it made 198 horses. The exhaust pipes for the Thunderbird were integrated into the rear fascia and above the rear bumper, giving it an unmistakable Jet-Age look. This Thunderbird has a production date of, October 23rd-1954 and is one of the first 500 Thunderbirds manufactured! It still has the original 292 cu in Y-block V8 with a 3-speed manual, plus overdrive transmission. According to the owner, who’s owned it for the last 21 + years, this car has only 81,000 original miles! Other original parts to this vehicle include- Original Hardtop, Fender-skirts, Power seat, and Original AM radio for aesthetic purposes- (which isn’t functioning due to a 12-volt conversion). Other upgraded features include: Halogen headlights, LED tail lights, Interior seat, foam, door panels, carpet, dash cover, hardtop-headliner, H.D. radiator, 6 blade fan, 12-volt electrical conversion, Pertronics ignition, alternator, Holly 4000 barrel carburetor totally rebuilt, radial tires, and a space-saver spare. This is a strong running and great driving vehicle. If you’re looking a for a Thunderbird you can take out on the road and enjoy a cruise, look no further, you’ve found it! Description:

For sale in our Nashville TN showroom is a rare gem of a 1996 Chevrolet Impala. This 1996 Chevy Impala for sale in our Nashville TN showroom is the lowest mileage most well kept 1996 Impala I’ve ever put my hands on. The Chevrolet Impala SS was far meaner than any standard Caprice, able to run to 60 mph in 7.0 seconds and through the quarter mile in 15.4 seconds, scorching contemporary four-door muscle machines. The Impala SS’s spaciousness and comfort, whether for road trips or just for cruising around town. The trunk is enormous (at 20.4 cubic feet, it’s more spacious than the trunk in today’s Mercedes-Benz S-Class), and the back seat has enough head- and legroom to easily accommodate 6-foot passengers. My scalp doesn’t come close to touching the cloth headliner. The four-gauge instrument cluster is plain and legible, and both the climate-control knobs and the sound system use large controls that are handily within the driver’s reach. The 260-hp V-8 speaks softly and the four-speed automatic glides between gears gently when we pull away from lights in traffic, though you’ll find plenty of torque on tap when the road clears and you dip deeper into the throttle. A large-diameter steering wheel and light-effort power steering make it easy to maneuver the big Impala. The upshot of the suspension tuning is that the Impala SS is remarkably comfortable for a performance-oriented car. Large 255/50R-17 tires help cushion driver and passengers from pothole impacts; engine and road noise are reasonably subdued; and the wide, flat seats are as plush as leather couches. The Impala SS still attracts attention because stuffing a high-performance engine into a family sedan remains a pretty unusual formula. Options include: AC, CD player, Cruise control, power brakes, power steering, power locks, power seats, power windows, keyless entry, power mirrors, air bags, leather interior, posi traction For more information call the Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or send us an email at nashville@gatewayclassiccars.com

Description:

This 2007 Ford Mustang ROUSH 427R is for sale in our Houston showroom. The 2007 Mustang was just an OK performer by today’s standards. ROUSH however would change all that with the addition of the 427R. The 427 didn’t strand for motor size but actual power to the rear wheels. This was over 115 more ponies over stock and would be the best performing 3 valve motor to date. Using his custom intercooled ROUS charger system and backed up by a custom ECM tune that works in conjunction with the different exhaust this Mustang has been turned it a raging stallion. Roush did not just stop there as they felt the car would have to look the part as well. A 4-piece body kit was added which included a stylized front fascia, front chin spoiler, hood scoop and rear wing. Parked between the shock towers is a Ford 4.6 Liter V8 engine that is topped with one of Jack Roush’s favorite toys, a Roush supercharger that forces air in to the combustion chambers after it has passed through the air to air intercooler. Why an intercooler you ask? Well the easiest way to put this in prospective is that the cooler the air is the cooler the fuel will be. It is not unusual to net an 85° - 200° drop in intake air temperature (depending on application). Paired to a 5-speed manual transmission that shifts smooth & firm up & down through the gears with ease. The power plant combo makes for a very nice driving experience. Inside the cockpit the driver will immediately notice the addition of the new three-gauge dash pod with engine oil temperature, coolent temperature and a boost gauge. A shift light has also been integrated into this dash pod as well. The ROUSH sport leather seating, short throw shifter with retro-style ball, and four-piece performance pedal kit help to round out the interior styling. The suspension system has been completely revamped to easily manage the twists and turns of a road course. The ROUSH 427R Trak Pak suspension includes adjustable front and rear shocks, front and rear springs, front and rear stabilization bars, front and rear jounce bumpers and adjustable camber/caster plates. With only 39k miles on this car it is barely broken in with plenty of road life ahead of it. The body & paint on the car is in excellent condition and the car drives amazing. Interior is in like new condition and overall the car is in excellent condition with no negatives to mention. Options for this 2008 Ford Mustang GT for sale include: Air conditioning, AM/FM stereo with CD player, Cruise control, sport bucket leather seating in the frond with lumbar support and a bench style bucket seats in the rear, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power locks, power seats, horse power, tilt steering wheel, keyless entry, while safety equipment included Traction control, anti-lock brakes and both driver and passenger airbags and anti-theft system from the factory. Aluminum alloy wheels wrapped in radial tires. See more of this 2008 Ford Mustang GT on display in our Houston, Texas showroom at http://gatewayclassiccars.com/houston/2008/ford/mustang-S994.html. A Chevrolet advertisement headlined: We gave it radials, a quieter ride, guard beams and a nose job. Indeed, redesigned body mounts and radial tires did improve Corvettes ride, and interior sound levels were reduced. The 454 cu in (7.4 L) LS-4 big-block V8 engine was offered delivering 275 hp. “454” emblems adorned the hood of big-block equipped Corvettes. All models featured a new cowl induction domed hood, which pulled air in through a rear hood intake into the engine compartment under full throttle, increasing power. Road & Track magazine stated in a 1973 road test: For all its age, size and compromises, if the Corvette is equipped with the right options it is a pleasant and rewarding car to drive and this 1973 example was one the best Corvettes weve ever driven. This 1973 Chevy corvette not only drives like a dream but it looks the part as well. Description:

This Rare 1967 AMC Rambler rogue is for sale in our Louisville Showroom. There were several indications that the 1967 AMC Rambler Rogue was a muscle car, but the model remained mostly unknown in the performance arena. On paper it had impressive credentials: a two-door hardtop that weighed less than 3,000 pounds and was powered by a (’67-only) 343ci, 280-horse powerplant. Behind the V-8 was a BorgWarner close-ratio T10 four-speed and a Dana 20 rearend with 3.54 gears and a Track-Loc. In many ways it was the predecessor of the dramatic SC/Rambler and The Machine models that would follow. This beautiful example looks to have gone through a complete restoration. A few things have been changed making this Rogue Rambler a true beast. The 343 V8 has been replace with a completely rebuilt 390 V8. The 390 sport an Offenhauser intake equipped with dual Edelbrock 4 barrel carbs. The transmission has been upgraded to a Hurst close ratio 4-speed. A Ford 9 inch has replaced the Dana 20 and has a bit more gear in it. If you are looking for a unique rare car that is bound to go up in value, do no hesitate to call as this beauty will no t last long. Option for this 1967 AMC Rambler Rogue include; AM Radio, Aftermarket Gauges, Seat Belts, Vinyl Interior, Radial Tires with Chrome Cragar Wheels.
