Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer this clean 1974 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible. This car has a great contrasting color combination of red over tan, with good panel fitment. Its a factory AC equipped car (currently not functional) and powered by a 350 V8 sending power through a TH400 automatic. The venerable and reliable 350/TH400 combo appears to be factory original, with the air cleaner, accessory drive and engine bay appearing as the factory built them. Upon closer inspection this Vettes paint tells the story of at least one respray and being regularly driven with minor chips and occasional touch-ups. But it shows well and retains a good shine. The interior has no tears and is complete, with no missing dials, knobs, or trim. This Corvette is honest; what you see is what you get. A nice classic Vette that you can drive and enjoy with no worries. Take it anywhere, park it anywhere, no worries! Just top down fun with a rumbling V8, swoopy fenders, and the wind in your hair. This 1974 Corvette is for sale in our St. Louis Showroom and can be seen in greater detail with 100+ HD Pictures and an HD video at gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is presenting a 1970 Ford Torino Gt. This Torino GT is Red with a Black interior and has 88,558 actual miles. It is equipped with a 351 CI engine and automatic transmission. For 1970, the Torino became a primary model with Ford. A completely new body was introduced that was influenced by Coke bottle styling. Just as tailfins were influenced by jet aircraft of the 1950s, stylists such as Ford stylist Bill Shenk who designed the 1970 Ford Torino were inspired by supersonic aircraft with narrow waists and bulging forward and rear fuselages needed to reach supersonic speeds. The 1970 Torino had more prominent long hood short deck styling, and was longer, lower and wider than the 1969 models. All models had a lower and less formal roofline compared to previous years. The windshield rake was increased, and the SportsRoof models had an even flatter fastback roofline. The Torino had a pointed front end and overall styling appeared much more aerodynamic than years previous. The new styling was a showroom hit and did well at the racetrack also. To view this 1970 Ford Torino GT in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video, visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Philadelphia showroom. Description:

Now for sale in the Houston showroom is one of the more unique examples that youll find of the world-renowned off-road legend, the Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser. These trucks are legendary in off-roading groups for being reliable and extremely agile due to their short wheel base. Given their track record in some inhospitable places, its easy to see why these are growing tremendously in market value. However, all those wonderful features also make finding a nice one challenging, since so many of these trucks have been bashed, abused, and just plain used up in the years before they made it to the collectors A-list. Under the hood is where you will see why the license plate frame says, Looks like a Toyota, Sounds like a Chevy. Theres a Chevy 350 CID V8 lurking there, which is topped by an Edelbrock aluminum intake and Edlebrock 4BBL carb. The big V8 is backed by a 4-speed transmission that shifts smoothly. The cast iron exhaust manifolds help keep the noise down a bit, as well as allow the 2-into-1 exhaust and MagnaFlow muffler to stay tucked well out of the way of the nasties. Rancho RS900XL shocks keep the corners damped, and allow for plenty of off-road wheel travel, and the Rancho steering dampener helps keep steering in check. A set of Pro-Comp All-Terrain Radials in 33x12.50R15LT tires are wrapped around Centerline 8-hole aluminum wheels and have plenty of tread depth for your adventures. If you find yourself in a pickle, youll be glad you have that front bumper-mounted Warn 8274 winch, with its 8000LB capacity to get you out of trouble. This 1974 Land Cruiser is very clean, with its deep red paint and black Bimini top, and it really stands out. Youll find the interior is far more civilized than youd expect for a world traveler like this, with comfortable mid-rise bucket seats that have cloth inserts to help wick off the sweat youll generate when youre muscling this beast through the rocks. AutoMeter SportComp instruments (tach, temp, and oil pressure) keep the driver informed of vital readings. An Aiwa AM/FM/CD head unit is stashed in the glovebox and sends the tunes to a set of Pioneer 6x9 4-way speakers in a custom enclosure behind the front seats. Crown Enterprises racing seat belts will keep the driver and front seat passengers securely fastened in place when its being used for its intended extreme off-road adventures, but should you get your noggin too close to the roll bar, youll be glad that its well padded. There are no seat belts for vinyl rear bench seat, so the back seat passengers you brought to your adventure will want to watch you from outside as you take that rock run. Options on this 1974 Toyota Land Cruiser include: Aluminum Wheels, AM/FM/CD radio, 4x4, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, and Vinyl/Cloth Seats. For more information on this 1974 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser for sale, to see all the HD pictures and videos of it, copy the URL below, and see it at this direct link: www.gatewayclassiccars.com/show/HOU/1476 . Description:

For sale in our St. Louis showroom is an incredibly clean 1998 Chevrolet Corvette Pace Car. The 1998 Pace Cars feature a bold purple and yellow color scheme with yellow wheels and seats, as well as Indy 500 graphics. Only 1,163 Indianapolis 500 Pace Car Replicas were made, and this is a fantastic example. This Vette has been babied and has hardly seen much road time. The odometer reads 20,673 on this Pace Car; thats just over 1,200 miles per year! To maintain the vehicle, the oil was changed with high quality full synthetic at least once a year regardless of mileage. Even the original floor mats were set aside to avoid wear. All Pace Cars were convertibles and this one is equipped with the 4 speed automatic transmission. Power comes from the 345 HP LS1 V8. With the top down and 8 cylinders of fury in front of you, it would be tough not to drive this one like you stole it. Being a Pace Car, this one is loaded to the hilt with: A/C, AM/FM/CD, manual convertible top, cruise control, lumbar support, power brakes, power steering, power locks, power seats, power windows, anti-lock brakes, tilt wheel, traction control, seat belts, driver airbag, passenger airbag, anti-theft system, leather interior, and alloy wheels. Description:

For sale in our Chicago showroom is this Burley Behemoth 99 Ford F350 Super Duty. Having been around since 1948, the F-series trucks from Ford have a lot of history. 99 marked a fairly significant change, as the “Super Duty line of trucks was introduced. This example is powered by a massive 6.8L Triton V10 engine making a claimed 275 horsepower, but a ground-shaking 410ft-lbs of torque. Even weighing in just shy of two and a half tons, this monster can move! With a 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission it cruises like a dream. The fuel injected mammoth starts with the turn of a key (and a press of the hidden kill-switch) and roars to life. This V10 sings gloriously, even better than most supercars. Climbing inside the cabin (and it is a climb), you find a cozy collection of gray cloth interior with the well-known Ford dash layout. A tachometer and speedometer are large and easy to read, as is the odometer marking this truck at a surprisingly super low at pnly 30,750 miles. A trailer-brake controller is mounted to the dash if you ever need to take advantage of the 10,000lb towing capacity. This truck also has a few modern touches such as the rear-view camera with the display mounted in the rearview mirror! This truck may be a Warriors Revenge, but it is fit for a king! Options on this 1999 Ford F350 Super Duty include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM/CD/Cassette, Cruise Control, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Locks, Power Seats, Power Windows, Anti-Lock Brakes, Tilt Wheel, Traction Control, Keyless Entry, Seat Belts, Driver/Passenger Airbag, Anti-Theft System, Cloth Interior Radial Tires, and Custom Wheels. Description:

Now for sale in our Houston Showroom is this rugged AM General-built 1991 HMMWV, aka Humvee. This vehicle was built to take a beating and withstand some of the toughest environments. Some would call this a Hummer, but a fun fact is that the Hummer line didnt start until 1992. These vehicles were known as Humvees prior to being available to the civilian market. This monster is powered by a 6.2L Diesel with less than 20,000 original miles on it. Its paired to a 3-speed automatic transmission that shifts smoothly through the gears. Naturally this beast is AWD and can get through almost anything you throw at it. It was said that this truck has literally been to Iraq and back accompanied by the U.S National Guard and remains in great shape. This Humvee is coated in a desert tan CARC (Chemical Agent Resistant Coating) paint, as you may never know what you may encounter overseas. Sitting on some 37 tires it has no issues going off-road when you choose to do so. Some other upgrades include a light bar, reverse lights, and run flats so you dont have to worry about those pesky nails in the tire. Peaking at the interior gives you a true rugged and raw feel for the military. The Humvee features 4 padded seats, and plenty of space in the rear if you need to load up for a long weekend hunting trip, or doomsday type event. Some modern comforts like Bluetooth stereo, and USB connector. For sale in the Fort Lauderdale showroom is this very unique 1952 Kaiser Henry J Gasser. This 1952 Kaiser Henry J is an extremely well-built gasser drag car that has been rebuilt from the ground up. As it sits currently the car is powered by a mildly built 289 Hypo V8 Ford motor running through a Ford Top-Loader transmission and 9in Ford rear end. When first built the car was shortened and slimmed from all angles to save weight and given a full suspension rework; turning it into a purpose-built a racecar. Runs and drives are street legal and currently sits on a great looking set of American Racing wheels with Mickey Thompson Sportsman Radials. The car is fully titled and registered by a private collector and has remained unchanged since he built the car which he has owned for 30 years. Description:

For sale in our Saint Louis showroom is a rarely seen 1963 Studebaker Avanti with a 4 speed. This frame off restored Avanti is powered by a 350 CID V8 engine with aluminum valve covers and a chrome K&N air filter. A Muncie M22 4 speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter transfers the power to the rear end. The tires are in very good condition and as you can see in the video, it drives excellent. The body is painted a beautiful shade of green that has a very slight metallic flake. The paint is in very good condition, and the car shines up well. The gray interior features vinyl and cloth upholstery, and a wood grain steering wheel provides a nice touch to the overall appearance of the interior. BACKGROUND: The Avanti was a personal luxury coupe produced by The Studebaker Corporation June 1962 and December 1963. It originated as a doodle on a napkin in a jet plane west of Chicago by Sherwood Egbert just 37 days after he took over as President of Studebaker in February 1961. It was marketed as Americas only 4 passenger high-performance personal car. The Avanti broke nearly 30 records at the Booneville Salt Flats in Utah. Unfortunately the Studebaker factory in South Bend, IN shut down in December of 1963, and only 5800 Avantis were produced during the production run. The naming rights to Avanti were purchased, and the Avanti II was produced from some years. The odometer on this 1963 Avanti reads 40,911, the actual mileage is unknown, but approximately 9,000 miles have been enjoyed in the car since the restoration was complete. Options for this 1963 Studebaker Avanti include: AM/FM Radio with Cassette Player, Vinyl and Cloth Interior, Seat Belts, Power Windows, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Radial Tires, and Custom Steel Wheels. This is a great example of a Studebaker Avanti, and will have Studebaker followers at all the local show or cruise. To view this 1963 Studebaker Avanti in greater detail, including HD pictures and HD video visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our St. Louis showroom. This isnt your average Austin Mini Cooper for sale, as this Austin is the extended wheelbase Countryman. Powering this little 61 Countryman for sale is a quick revving inline 4-cylinder engine. With a deep burble through vintage style exhaust, this oversized go-kart just begs to be run through the gears. Shifting is possible thanks to a 4-speed manual transmission. Sitting atop 10 rally wheels with polished hub caps wrapped in radial tires, this compact sticks to the road. Low to the ground, a manual transmission, and an inline 4-cylinder, need I say more? This is a ridiculously fun sports car! The exterior is killer, in a nice and clean shade of White. This estate car is adorned with wooden trim, all the way back to the dual barn doors at the rear. This Austin Woody Traveler is so righteous, it even comes with its own surf board! The interior is super sharp, with a two-tone Red and Grey/White patterned vinyl interior. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this absolutely gorgeous 1989 Pontiac Firebird Trans AM. If youre a Trans Am enthusiast, the 1989 Turbo Trans Am pace car really is the one to own, this is 20th Anniversary Turbo Indianapolis 500 Pace Car edition #841 of only 1,555 built Its still the fastest-accelerating T/A ever built, 89,412 original miles, is one of the cleanest, most documented examples available. This might be the most subtle GM pace car ever, but what it lacked in graphics it more than made up for in horsepower. The third-generation F-bodies were pretty good-looking cars, particularly the Trans Am, and all the unique styling aspects are extremely well-preserved given the tendency for the plastic trim to crack. The paint is as good as you could expect on the showroom floor, thanks to a lifetime as a cherished collectors item, and this is one of the few that proudly wears its original pace car decals. Functional vents on the hood and a subtle TURBO badge on the front fenders are your only tip-off that this is a special car. A tan leather interior was actually an optional upgrade on these cars, which came with the tan cloth as standard equipment. The deeply bolstered buckets are still incredibly comfortable even after 25 years and show minimal wear. The leather interior and T-tops were the only options, so things like power windows and locks, A/C, cruise control, and a powerful AM/FM/cassette stereo were all standard. Although the steering wheel and factory radio were replaced, we do have the original to be sold with the car. The trunk is like new and outfitted with original bags for the T-tops, because this car has every available option. The real reason these cars are special is under the hood: Buicks stunning 3.8-liter turbocharged V6. Pontiac rated it at 250 horsepower to keep from stepping on Corvettes toes, but the GM factory dyno rang up 301 horsepower on a pretty consistent basis. And as insanely easy as the turbo engine is to modify, this one remains completely stock and nicely preserved. A 4-speed automatic overdrive transmission and 1LE brake and WS6 handling package make this a formidable car even when the roads start to twist, neatly remedying the Buick GNs lone Achilles heel. You want a fast F-body, they dont come much better than this and the turbo V6 engine offers almost unlimited potential. This one is completely stock and incredibly original, right down to the gold mesh-style alloy wheels. The owner has had a lot of work done to this car such as new shocks, subframe connectors, new carpet throughout the car, new sound deadener (dynamat), new correct AC compressor and R134A conversion, 4 wheel alignment, new Delco radio with mp3 player, new fiberglass rear wing spoiler, power antenna replaced, new hood liner, new headlight motors, new motor mounts, new transmission, new torque converter, new spark plugs wires, new rear hatch motor, new leather steering wheel, shifter, E-break handle new fuel pump, exhaust, fuel injectors and so much more. We have receipts for all the work done with a Carfax and much more information in a detailed book that goes with the car. This is a really well documented and maintained vehicle. This 1989 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am is for sale in our Orlando Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Now for sale in our Dallas Showroom is an extremely rare 1994 M2-1015 Autozam AZ-1 produced by M2 Incorporated. Only 50 of these were produced by M2 incorporated, which was a subsidiary of Mazda at the time. Of the 50 Produced, only about half actually sold. This is a true Special Edition with certification. These are awesome collector pieces, and this one comes with a clean Texas Title. The exterior is in amazing condition with no blemishes, rust, or hard scratches found on the chassis. The most distinguishing part of the car is the front fog lights incorporated into the bonnet, and the all-new front bumper and rear spoiler. The car came in three different colours: white, black and silver. Interior can be said the same, there are no rips or tears on the seats and dash. This vehicle is powered by a tuned 3-cylinder turbocharged engine, engineered by Suzuki, and is mated to a 5 speed manual transmission. The engine and transmission on this vehicle was recently rebuilt and has a new clutch and flywheel, short shifter, with a weighted shift knob. The car drives and sounds amazing. It attracts more attention on the road then any other car, and when you pull up anywhere and open the doors expect someone to talk to you. The gullwing doors came like that from the factory, and these cars average over 35mpg! This one has some tasteful mods done to it that include an Greddy Piggyback ECU, exhaust, intake, momo steering wheel, blite blow-off valve, Volks Racing Wheels with sticky tires, and full suspension upgrade. The Racing seat holds you tight, as well as the Original Driver seat is available with the purchase as well.
