Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is excited to bring to market a very nice 1973 Cadillac Eldorado Indy Pace Car Convertible! Only 566 were built-in 1973. They were all painted Cotillion White, with red interior, Power Convertible Top comes with a die-cast convertible, Authenticity manual, Service records, and Framed poster. 1973 was the 5th year that Cadillac was chosen as a pace car throughout the years. And this was the second time ever that a front-wheel-drive car was leading the pack of race cars down the start lap, the first front-wheel-drive pace car was a Cord sometime in the 30s. And this was up to 1973 the most powerful pace car ever! The sheer weight of the Eldorado convertible forced the Cadillac engineers to take some measures to allow the car to reach the high speeds needed. The 8.2 liter 500 CID engine was tweaked. A new crank was installed as was specially forged pistons and a dual exhaust system, even the bumpers were replaced with polished aluminum instead of steel. And there was actually a second spare car supplied by the factory, just in case that something happened to the first. Both pace cars also had hood pins to secure the hood/bonnet as well as the flag pole mounts in the rear. Interestingly enough both cars survived the ordeal and one was actually converted back to a normal Eldorado convertible before being sold to the public. The other of the two actual pace cars were used for numerous testing purposes at the GM/Cadillac plant, for instance for testing rims and tires for the new generation of Chevrolet Corvette that was introduced in 1984. That car is said to have been scrapped and buried somewhere at a test facility.. Besides the two actual pace cars and the 53 track convertibles, there were a number of coupe devilles, two sedan devilles and even a Fleetwood used during the race week. To view the car in greater detail, including an HD video and 100+ HD pictures please visit http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/DFW/1253/ in our Dallas showroom. Description:

This original SC281 convertible Mustang is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The Saleen name has been associated with Ford and racing since 1984 when Steve first partnered with Ford and brought out a better version of the fox body Mustang. This 2002 version has come a long way from the first Saleen Mustangs. With the factory tuned suspension complimented by the supercharged 4.6 which really woke them up. This real deal SC281 has took that up a notch higher with a new Kenny Belle TS100 supercharger now. Giving this pony a new lease on life it really pulls hard thru all 5 gears. Put the speedster top on the back and you have a car that is fast and beautiful. It gives the look of a roadster with the ease of taking it off and becoming a true convertible. The upgraded car when bought new was almost 53000 in 2002. I remember 02 that was a lot of money. This beauty can be owned now for pennies on the dollar. This is a 1 of 3 build that has been verified by the Saleen Registry. The black leather interior is in excellent condition with the 5-speed shifter coming rite up to the perfect position. This car has one thing on its mind and thats going as quick as it can and looking good while doing it. Options on this 02 Convertible SC281 Mustang include AC, AM/FM/CD, Leather Interior, Seat Belts, Power Top, Alloy Wheels wrapped with Radial Tres. Description:

For sale in our Chicago showroom is a fantastic example of a near stock 1980 Z28 Camaro in excellent condition inside and out. Equipped with the 350 5.7L V8 engine matched to a 4 speed Manual transmission, makes for a rare and hard to find model Z28 Camaro. This is a low mileage car with only 64K on the speedo. A few neat things about the 1980 Camaro. The Z28 hood included a rear-pointing raised scoop (air induction) with a solenoid operated flap which opens at full throttle, allowing the engine to breath better resulting in better engine performance. Also a federally mandated 85 mph speedometer also debuted this year, pretty funny considering the vehicles actual performance ability. It was equipped with a unique upper and lower front grill and smaller revised graphics on its doors. The side scoops were also changed from a louvered design to a flatter one with a single opening. The 350 cu in (5.7 L) V8 was only available on the Z28 this year. This aggressive but vintage interior is still in great condition. Have a seat behind the wheel turn on the cold A/C, and strap yourself into the Rally inspired high back split bucket seating. The 4 speed manual transmission makes this an extremely fun car to drive, and allows for some serious interaction between car and driver. It will definitely make you appreciate the stick shift as you run through the gears and hear the great sound of the exhaust and the smell of burning rubber! For more information on this Incredible example of a 1980 Z28 Camaro Contact our Chicago showroom at (708) 444-4488 or Chicago@GatewayClassicCars.com To see more HD photos and an HD video of this vehicle running and driving please visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com See more at: http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/CHI/1394/1980-Chevrolet-Camaro-Z28

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars ins proud to present this beautiful 1957 Mercury Commuter for sale in our Detroit Showroom. 1957 was the first year for the Mercury Commuter and it was available until 1968 when all three station wagon models were discontinued. This 1957 Mercury Commuter is one exceptional ride. Powered by an updated 351CID V8 Windsor crate motor that was brand new and has less than 1000 miles, this Commuter is more like a rocket ship. The V8 sounds so healthy running through the dual Flowmaster exhaust setup. The strong 351CID V8 is backed by a smooth shifting 3-speed automatic C6 transmission and stock rear differential. The car is painted in a very appealing light blue and white and sports the more desirable 1958 front clip. These colors just speak to this car and fit so appropriately for the era the car originally resided in. Typically, 1950s technology is not the greatest when it comes to overall performance; however, with this Commuter, there has been a multitude of upgrades. One in specific is the front wheel disc brake conversion which will undoubtably get this big rig to a halt in a hurry. The interior of the car is well kept and comes in a great black and white combination. This car is meant for you to enjoy it with many others and can fit in upwards of 6 people! It is a car that everyone can enjoy. Other options on the 1957 Mercury Commuter for sale include: AM radio, power brakes, autometer gauges, vinyl interior, hub caps, and newly installed white wall radial tires. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Atlanta is offering this Custom 1951 Ford coupe for sale in our Atlanta showroom. This car is a compilation of the 51 Ford body attached to a 1994 Ford Taurus SHO platform. You read that right - we have an older body style on a late model driveline. The consignor states he does not know the origin of who did the build on this unique ride - he just liked the combination of old and new. The process involved chopping the top, and stretching the body on the 1/4 panels 4 to make her fit the Taurus undercarriage. She is painted in metallic orange with an orange/tan vinyl interior. This is what GCC would consider a driver quality paint job - as she shows well from a short distance. The hood was optioned with the louver look - that just fits the era of the body so well! The drive train shows 75,000-miles, and to which the consignor believes to be original. This 51 Ford is powered by the front-wheel-drive - 24-valve DOHC V-6 engine mated to the 4-speed automatic transmission. The interior is custom with re-covered bucket seats, bench rear seats, custom door panels, and console. This 1951 Ford Coupe is optioned with; power steering, power brakes, a/c, tilt wheel, cruise control, power windows, AM/FM stereo, American Racing aluminum wheels, Kumho ECSTA LX P205/60R16 radial tires. Located in our Atlanta Showroom, this Custom 1951 Ford Coupe can be seen including HD pictures and videos at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando proud to present this 1987 Volkswagen GTI. This GTI has 89,830 actual miles on it. It is powered by a 1.8l SOHC Turbo with a 5-speed manual transmission. The VW Rabbit GTI introduced the world to the hot hatch, and Callaway Cars were quick to make turbo kits and also the venerable Callaway GTI. Callaway GTIs wore BBS body kits, road and steering wheels along with the Stage 2 Turbo… theyre pricey and almost all gone now. Not to be outdone, APS / Neuspeed custom-built a brand new GTI with a European flair: Hella body kit, MOMO road, and steering wheels then they threw in Neuspeed sway bar / lowering springs / Koni adjustable struts and, of course, a Stage 2 Callaway Turbo. Copy and paste this link for a magazine article featuring this very car! http://www.neuspeed.com/media/attachments/VW&Porsche%20October%201987v3.pdf Now with just 87k miles, the car has undergone few, but tasteful, upgrades: 280mm (11) big brake kit (from Corrado G60) and G-grind forced induction cam. The turbocharger has been rebuilt and the car builds boost immediately off idle and attains 8psi by 3,000rpm. New timing and accessory belts, new Callaway Microfueler injector, ice-cold A/C, brakes bled with every oil change. The Koni adjustable struts have been replaced and the car has always been well kept and maintained. The car is all original, but with an overall repaint in 1996; the underbody is very solid and rust-free throughout. The original MOMO road and steering wheels show age but are solid and functional. This is a fun, one-of-a-kind, eye-catcher that was once the king of the stoplight, dragstrip, auto crossing and is ready to take you back to the glory days of the sleeper hot hatch. Options on this 1987 Volkswagen GTI is Air Conditioning, Power Locks, Power Windows, Power Mirrors, Seat Belts, Cloth Interior, Radial Tires and Aluminum Wheels. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1966 Dodge Coronet 500. Covered in none other than a classic blue paint, this is a blast from the past that will surely please its new owner. The big 440 CID V8 was put into this car after the previous owner found out the original 383 that was in the car could not be saved. The 440 however provides plenty of torque to get this car moving along at a brisk clip. The 727 Torque-flight 3-speed automatic transmission shifts nicely for a car that is only 53 years young! Inside the passenger compartment, youll find that the blue vinyl seats are in great shape, as is the carpet; what appears to be the original dash pad is in great condition too. These classic Mopars are certainly coming up in the market so be sure to grab this one while you still can. As the old saying goes “Mopar or No Car so please call us today and we will be happy to help add this to your collection. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is excited to present this 1977 Ford F100 for sale in the Milwaukee Showroom. Ford has had a legacy of building tough trucks that are known to stand up to any task, but this one takes the cake in terms of being able to handle ridiculous amounts of horsepower. From the moment you see this trucks hot-rodded appearance that includes a hot red paint job, shaved door handles, and a shaved and welded tailgate setting off a clean and aggressive look. The other thing one might notice is the air scoop with two exposed 4-barrel Holley Carburetors popping above the hood line making it painfully obvious that this truck means business. The rest of the engine is a 460 Big Block Ford that has been modified with aluminum heads, a tunnel ram intake manifold, headers, and a nitrous injection system courtesy of Zex Nitrous. This combination makes for a healthy excess of 600 horsepower which needs to have been held down by a C6 3-speed automatic transmission and transferred back to a Ford 9 rear axle featuring a 3:25 gear ratio. You put all this together, and you get on scary truck that has a mean exhaust tone to match from the exhaust being dumped before the rear axle. The F100 features power brakes, power steering, and an AM/FM radio making this truck capable of easy driving on the road. This 1977 Ford F100 is available at our Milwaukee Showroom at Gateway Classic Cars and can be seen at www.GatewayClassicCars.com which includes 100+ HD photos and HD video. To see the car in person, it can be seen at our Milwaukee Showroom located at 9949 58th Place Suite 400, Kenosha WI 53144. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Philadelphia is presenting this 2014 Cadillac CTS 4 for sale. This Cadillac is powered by the original 3.6L V6 backed by a 6-speed automatic transmission with only 22,675 miles on her. Obviously, the naturally aspirated 3.6 doesnt pack the power of the CTS-Vs supercharged V-8, but the 321-horse V-6 does its best to charge through and really shows its value! The paddle shifters behind the steering wheel allow for great comfort and handling. This CTS is preferably for sporty and daily driving, the transmission will find the highest possible gear to maximize fuel economy. The best part about the CTS is that it just seems quieter while driving down the road. The road sounds and wind noise are all muted due to the double-paned side glass, turning the outside volume down. Simply Jump in, Push the Start button and sit back, soaking in the silence while relaxing in the subtle seats. All you hear is the quite running V-6. This CTS is still wearing its factory Black paint and the Black Leather interior shines from the inside. Options Include AWD, Leather Seats, Alloy Wheels, AC, AM/FM Radio, CD Player, Power Brakes, Steering and Seats, Anti-lock brakes, Traction Control, Airbags and Seatbelts. Description:

Now available in our DFW-Showroom is this splendid 1950 MG TD. MGs TC roadster sold well initially and proved American demand for an English sports car, but the cars right-hand-drive configuration and 1930s specifications meant it was ripe for a redesign by 1950. In response, Syd Enever and Alec Hounslow took two weeks in 1949 to strip a four-seat Y-Type Tourer and shorten the chassis five inches. Just like that, the MG TD roadster was born. The TD also carried a few modifications aimed at the U.S. market. Specifically, left-hand drive was offered, along with rack-and-pinion steering, smaller, 15-inch steel disc wheels (no wire wheels were offered), and larger bumpers. In turn, the car was wider and 200 pounds heavier than the TC. Keeping with its predecessor, the TDs weather protection was minimal. This MG TD was fully restored in 2009 by K&C Seippel, (marked by the brass plaque on the firewall). After that, the fuel tank was cleaned and sealed around 2012. It also received a new coil and master cylinder in 2012. This vehicle has won multiple awards at different car-shows over the years and even have the plaques in the glove-box to prove it. This unique ride certainly stands out in a crowd and is a great conversation starter, dont let this opportunity pass you by. To view this vehicle in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and videos, visit our website at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For additional information on this 1950 MG TD, email us at dallas@gatewayclassiccars.com or call 817-310-9400.
