Description:

Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this gorgeous 1968 Ford Mustang. 1968 was the first year Ford introduced the 302 CID V8 which was an upgrade from the 289 CID V8. The changes from 1967 included received revised side scoops, a new designed steering wheel, gasoline caps, & side marker lights were also added that year. This beautiful 68 Stang has been treated to a frame off restoration back in 2009. The car was repainted in Dupont Ford Race Red back in May of 2015 (we have color codes) by Brock Collision in Houston, TX and it shows very well. The cars exterior bumpers, trim, emblems, & glass are all in great condition. The rear of the car features a Shelby GT/CS fiberglass trunk with a ducktail spoiler. Powering this restomod is a 302 CID V8 that is out of a 91 Mustang that was professionally rebuilt with forged internals & aluminum heads back in 2014. The engine runs extremely strong and begs to revved, & really you should hear this thing rumble for yourself. The thirsty V8 is coupled to a World Class Tremec T5 5-speed manual transmission that shifts effortlessly into each gear. The Tremec T5 spins 4.11 gears within a Ford 9-inch rear end with Moser axles with Detroit lockers. With those two barely broken in drive train components this car has many years of road ahead of it. The car features a new black vinyl interior to is in fantastic condition with little to no evidence of wear. The door panels are custom color matched painted for a nice custom look. The carpet, headliner, & dash follow in the same fashion and look great. On the steering column is a custom shift light with RPM readout & a custom hurst shifter on the floor. The car sits on very nice 15-inch Weld racing wheels that are wrapped in Cooper Cobra tires that are like new with plenty of tread left on them. The car has a full book of receipts from the owner from when it was restored until we received it. The car drives extremely well and it is a pure blast to drive. This is not your normal 302 Stang, this one has plenty of show & go! The car features slotted & drilled front disc brakes with drum brakes in the rear. Other notable features on this sweet ride include: color matched engine bay components, AM/FM radio, power brakes, tilt steering wheel, vinyl interior, racing wheels, & custom gauge pod mounted to driver’s side pillar. This car is very well built and is a real pleasure to drive. For more information on this 1968 Ford Mustang call the Houston Showroom at 832-243-6220 or email houston@gatewayclassiccars.com

Description:

We have a beautiful 1965 Ford Mustang here in our Milwaukee showroom. It is coated in a beautiful White paint with blue interior. It features a 289ci V8 with air conditioning. This is an awesome car that runs great and looks fantastic! Several changes to the Mustang occurred at the start of the normal 1965 model year in August 1964, about four months after its introduction. These cars are known as late 65s. The engine lineup was changed, with a 200 cu in (3.3 L) T-code engine that produced 120 hp (89 kW; 122 PS). Production of the Fairlanes F-code 260 cu in (4.3 L) engine ceased when the 1964 model year ended. It was replaced with a new 200 hp (150 kW) C-code 289 cu in (4.7 L) engine with a two-barrel carburetor as the base V8. An A-code 225 hp (168 kW; 228 PS) four-barrel carbureted version was next in line, followed by the unchanged Hi-Po K-code 271 hp (202 kW; 275 PS) 289. The DC electrical generator was replaced by a new AC alternator on all Fords (a way to distinguish a 1964 from a 1965 is to see if the alternator light on the dash says GEN or ALT). The Mustang GT version was introduced as the GT Equipment Package and included a V8 engine (most often the 225 hp (168 kW; 228 PS) 289), grille-mounted fog lamps, rocker panel stripes, and disc brakes. In the interior the GT option added a different instrument panel that included a speedometer, fuel gauge, temp. gauge, oil pressure gauge and ammeter in five round dials (the gauges were not marked with numbers, however.) A four-barrel carbureted engine was now available with any body style. Additionally, reverse lights were an option added to the car from August 1964 production. The Mustang was originally available as either a hardtop or convertible, but during the cars early design phases a fastback model was strongly considered. In 1965, the Shelby Mustang was born, it was available only in newly introduced fastback body version with its swept-back rear glass and distinctive ventilation louvers. The standard interior features of the 1965 Mustang included adjustable driver and passenger bucket seats, an AM radio, and a floor mounted shifter in a variety of color options. Ford added additional interior options during the 1965 model year. The Interior Decor Group was popularly known as Pony Interior due to the addition of embossed running ponies on the seat fronts, and also included integral armrests, woodgrain appliqué accents, and a round gauge cluster that would replace the standard Falcon instrumentation. Also available were sun visors, a (mechanical) remote-operated mirror, a floor console, and a bench seat. Ford later offered an under-dash air-conditioning unit, and discontinued the vinyl with cloth insert seat option, offered only in early 1965 models. One option designed strictly for fun was the Rally-Pac. Introduced in 1963 after Fords success at that years Monte Carlo Rally and available on other Ford and Mercury compacts and intermediates, the Rally-Pac was a combination clock and tachometer mounted to the steering column. It was available as a factory ordered item for US$69.30. Installed by a dealer, the Rally-Pac cost US$75.95.A 14 rim option was available for Rally-pac and GT350R vehicles widening front and rear track to 57.5. Reproductions are presently available from any number of Mustang restoration parts sources. A compass, rear seat belts, A/C, and back-up lights were also optional. This vehicle is located in our Milwaukee showroom. You can view this 1965 Ford Mustang in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video of it running and driving at Gatewayclassiccars.com. If you are interested in purchasing this vehicle or have more questions regarding it please call us at (262)-891-4253 or email us at Milwaukee@gatewayclassiccars.com.

Description:

For Sale in our Detroit Showroom is a super fast, highly modified, 1-owner 2002 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28. This is definitely not your ordinary Z/28, this beast has been completely transformed to dominate any road it travels. Under the hood of this menacing Camaro is a beautifully built 402cid Stroker paired to a built 4L60E Transmission. This transformation has less than 4,000 miles and less than 65,000 on the Camaro originally. This power spins a 12 Bolt Moser rear end with a highway friendly 3.73 gear. You can actually drive this Camaro to your local race-track! The nitrous system is all set up and ready to go and power estimates are upwards of 700HP which should be plenty for the way this vehicle is set up. Usually, many power upgrades and pumping out some serious horsepower out of a car means you have to sacrifice many amenities like Air Conditioning, Cruise Control, Power Locks, Power Windows, Driver and Passenger Air Bag, Keyless Entry and even an Anti-Theft System. Nothing looks better than a black on black sports car and with the power that this Camaro packs, this beauty is sure to turn heads wherever it decides to roam. Description:

Now available in our DFW-Showroom is this splendid 1950 MG TD. MG’s TC roadster sold well initially and proved American demand for an English sports car, but the car’s right-hand-drive configuration and 1930s specifications meant it was ripe for a redesign by 1950. In response, Syd Enever and Alec Hounslow took two weeks in 1949 to strip a four-seat Y-Type Tourer and shorten the chassis five inches. Just like that, the MG TD roadster was born. The TD also carried a few modifications aimed at the U.S. market. Specifically, left-hand drive was offered, along with rack-and-pinion steering, smaller, 15-inch steel disc wheels (no wire wheels were offered), and larger bumpers. In turn, the car was wider and 200 pounds heavier than the TC. Keeping with its predecessor, the TD’s weather protection was minimal. This MG TD was fully restored in 2009 by K&C Seippel, (marked by the brass plaque on the firewall). After that, the fuel tank was cleaned and sealed around 2012. It also received a new coil and master cylinder in 2012. This vehicle has won multiple awards at different car-shows over the years and even have the plaques in the glove-box to prove it. This unique ride certainly stands out in a crowd and is a great conversation starter, don’t let this opportunity pass you by. To view this vehicle in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and videos, visit our website at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. For sale in our St. Louis showroom is a very unique 1958 Austin FX3. The odometer reads 735, but the actual mileage is unknown. Options for this 1958 Austin FX3 include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Windows, Keyless Entry, Seat Belts, Leather Interior, Radial Tires, and Boyd Coddington Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. A ZZ3 350 CID V8 engine powers this British, Resto Mod taxi down the road with plenty of pep to spare. Full stainless exhaust runs out the back and provides a great sound. A 700R4 4 speed automatic transmission transfers the power to the rear end and to the Goodyear Eagle radial tires. The exterior is covered in a Deep Brandywine Burgundy Metallic paint, which does show some age, but has a nice shine to it. The custom interior features gray leather upholstery, a Dakota Digital gauge setup, a Lokar shifter, air conditioning, and power windows. This old British taxi still has the For Hire sign attached to the roof, and has miles of legroom in the back for your passengers. You can put this taxi to work by driving newly-weds around town, or the family from car show to car show, either way the passengers will have a blast. This Austin has a great stance courtesy of the suspension setup and the Boyd Coddington wheels that are wrapped in Goodyear Eagle radial tires.
