Description:

Ladies and Gentlemen, Gateway Classic Cars of Kansas City is pleased to present a bountiful find of class, luxury and taste - a stunning Gold with white top 1972 Lincoln Continental Mark IV The Lincoln Continental Mark IV was new for the 1972 model year, available only as a two-door hardtop coupe. It was instantly recognizable because of its small “Greek Temple grille, oval opera windows, and Continental rear trunk lid hump that evoked the Continental Kits of the 1950s. On top of all that, the new Continental was four inches longer than the 1971 model, adding to the visual impression of an extremely long hood. Under that long hood was a 460-cid big-block V-8 sourced from Ford. The Mark IV delivered 224 net hp, down quite a bit from the 365 hp of the 1971 model. Some of that loss reflects the change from gross to net horsepower in 1972, but the earlier engine had a 10.5:1 compression ratio, while the new 460 had only 8.5:1. Our more than bold, gold with white top beauty has lived a sheltered and pampered life. Under the watchful eyes of only two owners, to date, this long Lincoln has only traveled an average of only 377 miles per year in its forty-eight-year-history. The big block Ford, 460 cubic inch motor has not seen a lot of action and still has a lot of life left in her! And, what may be a rare color combination of gold and white outside and white and black inside, the leather seats and door panels are white, and the carpet and dash are black, all seem to work very well together and have aged beautifully to date. Overall, she is beautiful, in great shape, and ready to go to the third owner in its nearly fifty-year history! So today, reach for a little class, refinement and luxury and claim this beautiful Lincoln Mark IV, for yourself! The price is right, the look is right, and the quality is right. These Mark IVs are disappearing by the day! Call your friends in the classic car business in Kansas City at Gateway Classic Cars. Our number is (913) 815-1340. You can reach us Monday thru Saturday, 9 a.m. thru 5 p.m. cst. Gateway Classic Cars of Kansas City, 1202 South lone Elm Road, Olathe, KS 66061.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando proud to present this 1987 Volkswagen GTI. This GTI has 89,830 miles on it. It is powered by a 1.8l SOHC Turbo with a 5-speed manual transmission. The VW Rabbit GTI introduced the world to the hot hatch, and Callaway Cars were quick to make turbo kits and also the venerable Callaway GTI. Callaway GTIs wore BBS body kits, road and steering wheels along with the Stage 2 Turbo… theyre pricey and almost all gone now. Not to be outdone, APS / Neuspeed custom-built a brand new GTI with a European flair: Hella body kit, MOMO road, and steering wheels then they threw in Neuspeed sway bar / lowering springs / Koni adjustable struts and, of course, a Stage 2 Callaway Turbo. Copy and paste this link for a magazine article featuring this very car! http://www.neuspeed.com/media/attachments/VW&Porsche%20October%201987v3.pdf Now with just 87k miles, the car has undergone few, but tasteful, upgrades: 280mm (11) big brake kit (from Corrado G60) and G-grind forced induction cam. The turbocharger has been rebuilt and the car builds boost immediately off idle and attains 8psi by 3,000rpm. New timing and accessory belts, new Callaway Microfueler injector, ice-cold A/C, brakes bled with every oil change. The Koni adjustable struts have been replaced and the car has always been well kept and maintained. The car is all original, but with an overall repaint in 1996; the underbody is very solid and rust-free throughout. The original MOMO road and steering wheels show age but are solid and functional. This is a fun, one-of-a-kind, eye-catcher that was once the king of the stoplight, dragstrip, auto crossing and is ready to take you back to the glory days of the sleeper hot hatch. Options on this 1987 Volkswagen GTI is Air Conditioning, Power Locks, Power Windows, Power Mirrors, Seat Belts, Cloth Interior, Radial Tires and Aluminum Wheels. This is the one you want to own. This 1987 Volkswagen GTI is for sale in our Orlando Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1950 Packard Super Deluxe. After 1942, Packard concentrated on the new Clipper styling that was developed for an upper-class sedan the previous year. There were Super Clippers and Custom Super Clipper in the One-Sixty and One-Eighty tradition until 1947. After a heavy facelift, the name Clipper was dropped. The most senior Super Eight One-Eighty became the Custom Eight, while its slightly lower-priced sibling, the Super Eight One-Sixty, once again became simply the Super Eight. Clipper Custom Super Eights and Custom Eights were very close relatives to their respective Super models, distinguished outside by the lack of an eggcrate grille and small rear chrome trim molding under the trunk lid on Supers. In 1949, a new Super Eight Deluxe was added to the line. This car had also the Custom Eights eggcrate grille, but not the rear trim. This Super 8 Deluxe is a real blast from the past. The car is all original except the paint which was resprayed in 2012. The overall quality of the paint is driver quality but this car is a driver to its core. The drivetrain is original and numbers matching to the car. The V8 combined with the Ultramatic automatic transmission still run and shift very smoothly. All the panels are original to the car as well. The tan interior is very nice and in great shape. Options on this cool 1950 Packard Super Deluxe include: AM Radio, Spare Tire, Hub Caps, Jack, Seat Belts, cloth interior and white wall radial tires. This 1950 Packard Super Deluxe is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Truck enthusiasts everywhere, Gateway Classic Cars is excited to offer this 1954 Chevrolet 3600 Stake Bed in our Milwaukee showroom. Chevrolet entered the truck market competitively in 1918 with the Series 490. The 490 was sold as a chassis only. Leaving the customer to create a truck cab and rear bed. Chevrolet also introduced a one -ton truck ironically called the Chevrolet Model T. It was considered the first purpose- built truck by an automobile manufacturer. It took until 1931 before Chevrolet started producing factory built complete trucks. Customer now could buy a truck compete with a cab and bed of their choice straight from the factory. This was the start of truck revolution which still exists today. Our 1954 Chevrolet 3600 Stake Bed is a fine example of Chevys new and redesigned truck postwar. Most notable was the five-bar horizontal grille. The inside cab was both longer and wider to accommodate a third person. New comfort features were added such as a fresh-air heater and defrost system. Our 1954 Stake bed features a brand- new grille, instrument panel, parking lights and a one-piece windshield. Under the hood is a 235 cubic inch engine attached T5 five speed transmission transplanted from a 1988 S-15. The engine has been completely rebuilt. A rear end was installed from a 1988 Suburban only 3,000 miles ago. Many modern conveniences have been added including: a 12- volt upgrade, Devetech Hei ingnition, electric wipers, and new wiring harness. Adding a bit of “bark to the bite of this 91 Z28 is a custom cat-back exhaust for a nice throaty growl. A quick turn of the key and this fuel-injected fire-breather roars to life ready to hit the pavement. Some subtle pinstriping give a classy touch to this mid-year American sports classic. With just a hair over 52,000 original miles this red rocket is barely broken in! The third generation of the Camaro is a steadily increasing investment and is sure to put a smile on your face.
