Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is enthusiastically offering this 1973 Ford Mustang convertible for sale on consignment in our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. 1973 was the final year of the original generation “Pony Car, which is of course renowned the world over for being one of the most recognizable automotive brands of all time. 1971-1973 Mustangs were not produced in as high-volume numbers as the 1965-70 years despite being good-looking cars and offering a highly comparable driving experience to their earlier counterparts. Fun fact: the 1973 Mustang was the longest Mustang ever built, at over 16ft in overall length. This car is in mostly original condition with around 70,000 actual miles (as stated by the seller and on other legal documentation we have) which is amazing considering that its a 47-year-old car. Painted in “Medium Bright Yellow with a Black convertible top and stylish Black front/rear spoilers, this Mustang for sale pulls off the sports car look well. This 1973 model comes with its original powertrain: a 302 CID V8 that has power steering, power brakes, exhaust headers that have been added and a recent service totaling almost $4,000 that has replaced various gaskets, seals and engine components. The 3-speed C4 automatic transmission cruises through the gears just like youd expect and is a great compliment to the V8. Inside, this Mustang is finished with the “Deluxe interior option and Brown vinyl front bucket seats in good condition. There is some age-related wear in places but the seller of this car has thoughtfully purchased several new cosmetic items such as arm rests and trim pieces that are available with the sale. Air conditioning will keep you cool even on a hot, humid summers day and the power operated convertible top is easy to use. This survivor-category 1973 Ford Mustang convertible is in great running and driving condition with a solid body and frame. It could be yours sooner than you think by giving our helpful and knowledgeable Sales staff a call at (623) 900-4884 or sending us a direct email inquiry at scottsdale@gatewayclassiccars.com about this car or any of our other inventory for sale. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is excited to offer this neat looking Suzuki Samurai. The Samurai represents an off-road genre that no longer exists: an agile SUV significantly smaller than a modern Jeep Wrangler. Virtues include virtues include a 2100-pound curb weight, manual transmission, manual steering, and a manual convertible top. Theres deep aftermarket support and a variety of clubs for owners. The Samurai also gets decent gas mileage and has a reputation for ruggedness. (Automobile Magazine) This example received a ground up restoration and looks terrific. It is a bit lower in the front, giving it a cool, sinister look. If you ever go to Japan, you are likely to see several examples of these on the road- in stock form and customized. Japan calls them Jimny. Under the hood you will find a nicely detailed 4 cylinder. Looks great and features an exhaust header. These little 4 cylinders provide more than enough power to have fun with. It is hard to find a nice one like this. It was configured as a 4WD, but that system is not currently connected and would need restoration, as needed. The interior features sharp upholstery logos, and the top has been replaced. It is fun to drive with the top open! A great little conversation piece and head turner. Features include power brakes. To view this cute Suzuki in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. For more information, please call the Ft. Lauderdale showroom at 954-227-4202 or e-mail us at fortlauderdale@GatewayClassicCars.com.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars Houston showroom is excited to present this very rare Oxford White 1986 Ford Mustang SVO. According to the included Marti Report, this SVO is one of only 91 units that were built with the Competition Prep Package. Alternatively known as the SVO lightweight edition, these cars were amenities delete cars: no power locks, power windows, leather seating, sunroof, or air conditioning; all of which were standard on SVO Mustangs. This Competition Prep SVO Mustang is very well-documented, with Marti Report, SVOCA Certificate, Ford Customer Service Division verification letter, original tank sticker (buck sheet), and SVO Owners Association Certificate of Authenticity. This baby is the real deal and is a rare pony indeed. During the oil crisis of the 1970s, many muscle cars made drastic changes that have influenced some of the smaller engine yet high HP cars on the road today. From Wikipedia: Still ultimately concerned with issues such as fuel consumption and emissions, SVO engineers opted to pass over the production 5.0 liter V-8 in lieu of an updated, turbocharged, and stronger version of Fords 2.3 liter inline four, originally used in the Pinto and Ford Mustang II. The installation of the four-cylinder engine helped with weight distribution, due to the engine being installed perpendicular to, and behind, the front axle, thereby improving handling. Endowing the engine with an advanced, computer-controlled fuel injection system and an intercooled turbocharger system helped push power output to 175 horsepower. In addition, a fuel grade switch was added to the dash, allowing the driver to adjust the vehicles performance level depending on whether premium or standard grade fuel were being used. A factory-installed Hurst shifter was made standard to improve feel and quickness. With fine tuning and the addition of a new water-cooling system, power output rose to 200 horsepower (149 kW) for 1986 (205 horsepower (153 kW) for 439 85.5 SVOs). Also, the 1985 1/2 and 1986 SVO had new aero headlights. These headlights were designed for the 1984 model, but regulations would not allow them to be used until the mid-1985 update. The vehicles standard Borg-Warner five-speed manual transmission was updated then, as well, receiving revised gearing to match the new 3:73 rear end ratio. SVO Mustangs were aimed at luring entry-level Porsche and BMW buyers to a real American sports car that wasnt priced like a Corvette. Equipped with 4-wheel disc brakes, adjustable Koni shocks, front/rear weight bias, light weight, and a potent high-revving, fuel-injected intercooled 2.3L turbo 4, Road and Track once stated This may be one of the top all-around car for the enthusiast driver ever produced by the U.S. (car) Industry. Of course, that was back in the mid-1980s, and things have changed...but, this was one well-respected car back then! Additional features and options on this rare 1986 Ford Mustang SVO for sale include Aluminum Wheels, Manual Lumbar Support, Performance Radial Tires, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Seat Belts, and Tilt Steering Wheel. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Orlando is proud to present this 1960 Studebaker Champ Pickup. This is one you will not see every day. The Studebaker Champ was a light-duty pickup truck produced by the Studebaker Corporation from 1960-1964. The chassis and cargo box of the Champ were basically the same as what had been used for Studebakers ½ and ¾-ton trucks since 1949, but the cab section was very different. An entirely new cab was out of the question because of cost considerations, but the new Lark compact cars body proved to be just the right size and shape to suit the purpose. The engineering staff took a four-door sedan, cut it in half behind the front doors and modified the front half slightly to fit the truck chassis. The only new Sheetmetal stamping that was required was the back wall of the new cab. Minor modifications for mounting of the cab to the 1949-vintage truck frame were also made. The Larks front end Sheetmetal was retained as well, but funds were allocated to give the Champ a new horizontal-bar grille that delivered a tougher look. Powered by a 6 Cylinder engine. A wide variety of transmissions, both manual and automatic, were available in Champs. Base models came with a three-speed column shifted manual (AKA: 3 on the tree) and thats what this one has. Today, the Champs that still exist are highly prized for their interesting combination of passenger-car comfort and style and their rugged mechanical durability Options for this 1960 Studebaker Champ include; AM Radio, Cloth Interior and Hub Caps. This is the one you want to own. Description:

Introducing to our Dallas show room here at Gateway Classic Cars, Is a magnificent 2004 Ford Thunderbird. In 1955, the Thunderbird was revealed as a personal luxury car and changed over time until production ceased at the end of 1997. In 2002, Ford brought the Thunderbird back as a two-seat model that was available until the end of 2005, during its success Ford produced over 4.4 million Thunderbirds. Ford created a flurry of excitement when the revived Thunderbird appeared as a 2002 model. Though it is fully modern underneath, the redesigned model was a throwback to the original two-passenger T-Bird of 1955 - 1957. The wheels have been restyled and a universal garage-door opener is now standard for the 2004 model year. The front fenders hold new V-8 badges, and newly styled seats have leather seating surfaces. Adapted from the Lincoln LS platform, the rear-wheel-drive Thunderbird has a 3.9-liter V-8 engine — which received a boost from 252 to 280 horsepower for 2003 — and a five-speed-automatic transmission. The convertible comes in Deluxe and Premium trim levels. A removable plastic hardtop is optional, and the cars hood, fenders and rear deck are also made of plastic. Even though Ford shuns the retro label, designers gazed backward to a dramatic era of the companys heritage to revive the Thunderbird. Like its long-ago predecessor, the 2004 Thunderbird seats two occupants and is equipped with rear-wheel drive, but it incorporates all the benefits of modern technology. With this beautiful vintage green thunderbird, it only has 19,413 miles and has been owned by just ONE family! Also, you will have power windows, mirrors and even 6-way adjustable seats in this beauty. The two-tone leather/suede interior is truly a sight to see. To view this 2004 Ford Thunderbird in greater detail, including 100+ HD photos and HD video, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Houston is proud to present this rare and desirable 1966 Shelby GT350 Fastback Mustang. Documentation and known history are two important attributes for collector cars. This 1966 Shelby GT350, SFM6S2185, possesses plenty of both. As noted in the Shelby American Automobile Clubs Shelby Registry 1965-67, the GT350 was shipped from the Shelby American assembly facility in Los Angeles to Ford Motor Company in June 1966, then delivered to Courtesy Motors in Littleton, Colorado. In the 1970s, the Shelby was owned by a southern California detective who sometimes used this beauty as an undercover vehicle. Since 1979, it has been in the hands of collectors to ensure it was cared for through the years. During the 1980s, it participated in west coast shows, including SAAC-6 and the Palo Alto Concours DElegance. From 1987 to 2013, the GT350 was owned by a private collector; a 1988 restoration resulted in numerous Best of Show awards, perfect scores from both SAAC and the Mustang Club of America, and features in several magazines. Super Ford magazine named it the best Shelby of the year for 1989. The Guardsman Blue GT350 retains much of its original equipment, including the factory-installed 4-speed transmission and matching-numbers 289 Hi-Po V-8 that was modified to Shelby specs for 306 horsepower. Like all 1966 GT350s, the car was delivered to Shelby American as a K-code Mustang fastback, then upgraded with a Cobra aluminum intake with Holley carburetor, Tri-Y headers, Koni shock absorbers, rear traction bars, 15-inch wheels, dash-mounted tachometer, competition seat-belts and wood steering wheel. Externally, the Shelby models differed from regular Mustangs with a fiberglass hood with scoop, Plexiglas rear quarter windows and side scoops. Only 2,378 were built in total. Orlando Mustang was tapped to complete a restoration on the car in 2014, which resulted in its winning Best in Class awards at the 2104 Keels and Wheels Concours DElegance and the 2015 Valero Show. It was featured in the July 2015 Mustang Times and displayed at the Bush Library from August to October 2016. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars Chicago Showroom is excited to offer this 1971 Volkswagen Super Beetle. This beetle received a full frame off restoration about 15 years ago and has held up great over the years. The blue paint still shines great in the sun, and the manual sunroof makes this a great summer cruiser. In the rear lies a new 1600 CC duel Port motor from Mofoco. The engine is paired to a 4-speed manual transmission, and the noise is emitted through quad chrome tip exhausts coming out the rear. The gear box is tight and ready to go! The new engine was put in about 10 years ago by the current owner, and has about 1000 miles on it since being put in according to the owner. The engine has been beautifully dressed up in chrome that just pops against the blue exterior paint. Inside, the car has a clean refurbished interior with black vinyl and grey cloth insert seats. The Chrome VW seat belts add a nice touch in dressing up the interior. The odometer currently reads 45,106 miles which is claimed to be original by the current owner. It has disc brakes at all 4 wheels and great looking 15-inch chrome hub caps that look great with the chrome bumpers and blue paint. Above the windshield lies the stylish Sun visor that helps separate this beetle from the others. To help separate this Super Beetle from the rest is the clean California look windows. The CAL look results in a single window on the driver and passenger doors instead of the separate Valence or Quarter glass. The front headlights have been fitted with Chrome visors that glisten in the sun. Hop inside and either turn the key or use the fancy push to start button located on the center dash pop it into first gear and be ready to have a lot of attention on you. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer this 1981 Chevrolet Corvette for sale! It is a unique color and in great condition. It is even bench marked and gold certified. The owner brought us a beautifully kept 1981 Chevrolet Corvette with its numbers matching engine and transmission. Mileage on the car is only 24,550. Under the hood is the tried and true 350 small block followed by a 3-speed automatic transmission. The BENCHMARK process is not an easy one. Fewer than 5% or Corvettes attain this high honor and in order to do so the car must be an unrestored survivor. What you see on this car is 100% original and the owner has the paperwork to validate the awards. The exterior is a rarely seen Charcoal Metallic with silver seats on the inside. Take the T-tops off for sunny day drives and hit the road. The only thing this car needs is a new owner. The AC does work and blows cold and the window sticker and spec sheet are still available. This 1981 Chevrolet Corvette is for sale in our St. Louis Showroom and can be seen in great detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is featuring this silky smooth 1995 Jaguar XJS convertible 2+2 for sale in our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. The XJS was originally introduced in 1975 and had a very long life for a specialty British grand tourer. The convertible only joined the line-up for the first time in 1989 and a year later Jaguar was bought out by Ford, but the XJS lived on relatively unchanged. The rear seat (“2+2) configuration was added in 1994, most likely for insurance purposes. However, it will come in handy giving an extra person a ride home after a night at the country club or could be the perfect spot for the dog to sit and enjoy the ride- as long as the seats are covered of course! This 1995 Jaguar XJS convertible for sale comes in a beautiful “Glacier White with tan/beige leather interior that is so comfortable you wont want to get out. Buyers will breathe a sigh of relief when they find this XJS has the reliable AJ6 4.0l Inline 6 engine powering the rear wheels- the Jaguar V12s can be an infamous nightmare! The British trusted GM with the transmission for these cars, choosing a 4L80E 4-speed automatic to float this ‘Jag without incident to your destination. As youd expect from a British luxury car, this Jaguar comes with a laundry list of options including Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with Cassette and CD Player, an automatic Convertible Top, Cruise Control, Lumbar Support, Power Seats, Tilt/Telescopic Wheel, an Anti-Theft System, Chrome 5-spoke aluminum/alloy wheels and a Clear Bra to protect your paint from any chips or scratches. The current owner has had this Jaguar for almost 15 years and believes to be the second owner. Its spent its entire life in the southwest USA and has traveled just 77,000 pampered miles. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Louisville is proud to present this 1950 Packard Super Deluxe. After 1942, Packard concentrated on the new Clipper styling that was developed for an upper-class sedan the previous year. There were Super Clippers and Custom Super Clipper in the One-Sixty and One-Eighty tradition until 1947. After a heavy facelift, the name Clipper was dropped. The most senior Super Eight One-Eighty became the Custom Eight, while its slightly lower-priced sibling, the Super Eight One-Sixty, once again became simply the Super Eight. Clipper Custom Super Eights and Custom Eights were very close relatives to their respective Super models, distinguished outside by the lack of an eggcrate grille and small rear chrome trim molding under the trunk lid on Supers. In 1949, a new Super Eight Deluxe was added to the line. This car had also the Custom Eights eggcrate grille, but not the rear trim. This Super 8 Deluxe is a real blast from the past. The car is all original except the paint which was resprayed in 2012. The overall quality of the paint is driver quality but this car is a driver to its core. The drivetrain is original and numbers matching to the car. The V8 combined with the Ultramatic automatic transmission still run and shift very smoothly. All the panels are original to the car as well. The tan interior is very nice and in great shape. Options on this cool 1950 Packard Super Deluxe include: AM Radio, Spare Tire, Hub Caps, Jack, Seat Belts, cloth interior and white wall radial tires. This 1950 Packard Super Deluxe is for sale in our Louisville Showroom and can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and an HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com.
