Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Denver is proud to offer this 1983 Pontiac firebird Trans Am The 3rd Generation of Firebirds consisted of three models: Firebird, Firebird S/E, and Firebird Trans Am. The Firebird was the base model, equivalent to the Camaro Sport Coupe; the Firebird S/E was the luxury version; and the Trans Am, the high-performance version. For 1982, the new Firebird and Camaro had been completely restyled, with the windshield slope set at a dramatic, more aerodynamic 62 degrees,[4] (about 3 degrees steeper than anything GM had ever tried before), flush mounted side glass, and for the first time, a large, glass-dominated rear hatchback. Electronically controlled retractable headlamps, and a rounded hood line and front fenders were the primary characteristics that distinguished the Firebird from its Camaro sibling and its previous Firebird incarnations. The Firebird would retain hidden headlamps until the end of all production in 2002. Pontiac had also hoped to drop the Trans Am moniker from the redesigned cars to save royalties paid to the SCCA for use of the name. Early promotional cars were marked T/A as an alternative, however it was decided that doing so might cause more problems than it was worth and the Trans Am nameplate remained. Still, with its dimensions reduced, wheelbase shortened, and weight reduced, the Third Generation Firebird was also the closest yet in size to the original 1967 model. It won Best Sports GT category in the $11,000 to $14,000 range (also along with the Camaro). Road & Track called the fuel-injected Trans Am a dramatic improvement on its predecessors, accelerating from 0-60 in 9.2 seconds.[5] This clean CarFax T/A is ready to cruise down the road. The custom wheels really set the silver paint off and should turn a lot of heads. Additional options include: A/C, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, AM/FM Cassette player, ABS, Seat belts, Radial Tires. Description:

Our Louisville Showroom is proud to present this 1962 International Scout. The scout was the companys straight competitor to the now popular Jeep. The only issue was they had no idea if the market would be big enough to support 2 4WD leisure vehicles. Introduced to the public in 1960 and only taking 24 months to build from sketch drawing to finish. This was a monumental feat considering the size of IH as a company requiring them to piece out the job. IN other words, IH did not build the scout they put it together. This cool little scout has come a long way since it left the factory back in 62. Gone is the factory economical 4 cylinder upgraded to a 289 which is putting out about 3 times the power making this 2 door a blast to drive. The c4 automatic transmission works as it should shifting thru all 3 gears without hesitation. The paint on the car is clean and looks great. The white on red on white reminds me that this is an American car. Inside the bucket seats are much more modern and extremely comfortable. The shifter located in the middle on the floor is a great addition and makes it feels more like a car than a truck. Which is what the guy was going for when he put this creation together. Options on this 1962 International Scout includes, Hub Caps, Power Steering, Cloth Interior and Radial Tires. For more information on this 1962 International Scout please contact one of our knowledgeable salesmen in our Louisville showroom, www.gatewayclassiccars.com or call 812- 294-1555 for additional information. The motor was certified in all states and available with manual or automatic transmissions. Chrome air cleaner lids and cast magnesium valve covers dressed up all engines. This, the last C3 available with a manual transmission, if so equipped, had a published 0-60 mph in 8.1 seconds. The spring saved thirty-six pounds, but was limited to base suspensions with automatic transmission. When equipped with Delcos brand new optional ETR (Electronically Tuned Receiver) radio with a digital clock, the quartz analog instrument panel clock was replaced with an oil temperature gauge. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is happy to offer this racy 1967 Mercury Cougar for sale on consignment at our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. Although the name is iconic in Ford folklore, the introduction of the Cougar in 1967 was simply intended to give the Mercury division its own version of the Pony Car. In the early years (67 and 68) only a 2-door hardtop body-style was offered and ours comes in just that form. Painted in Red, this Cougar for sale has a split front fascia, hide away headlights (currently stuck open), rear spoiler and vertically slatted chrome trim on the taillights. 14 Magnum wheels all the way around look fantastic on this 67 Mercury. The owner of this vehicle states the car underwent a partial restoration less than 10 years ago and we have receipts for thousands of dollars to back that up. The 302 CID engine block has been dressed up a bit with Ford racing parts while an MSD ignition, aluminum radiator and Holley 4bbl carburetor assist with performance. A rebuilt 4-speed manual transmission gets this 1967 Mercury down the road and youll hear it coming with dual exhaust pipes! The interior of this Cougar has been reupholstered with White vinyl and its nice to see a center console has been added giving the keeper some extra storage and convenience space. A custom 3-spoke steering wheel sits in front of stock gauges for speed, engine temperature and fuel level. The dashboard itself is padded and features a retro-modern stereo system as well as air conditioning controls that have been integrated into the original controls. See yourself enjoying this 1967 Mercury Cougar yet?! Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to offer this beautiful example of a 1983 Mercedes-Benz 380SL for sale right now in our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. What we are looking at here is a European-sourced Mercedes-Benz from this era of R107 cars. SLs marketed Stateside from this era had engines that were gasping for air to meet stringent emissions requirements and appeared tacky thanks to ridiculous looking 5-mph bumpers. This one doesnt have the styling or power setbacks of US-market examples- however, it does appear that the front headlights on this Euro car have been swapped for US-spec sealed beams. Gorgeous Silver Blue paint adorns the exterior of this 380SL and the chrome lined bumpers, side mirrors and classic Mercedes 16 chrome wheels contrast smartly. This is a ‘Benz that youll love to drive as well as look at thanks to the German sourced 3.8l V8 engine that was replaced 60,000 miles ago. A 4-speed automatic transmission that was rebuilt several years ago shifts this ‘Merc through the gears nicely. Youll adore the soft Blue leather interior on this high-society cruiser which was also reupholstered in this cars lifetime. Air conditioning will keep you nice and cool while driving this Mercedes and the dash appearance hasnt been ruined by an aftermarket stereo system - the original Becker AM/FM/Cassette player is still present and functional. Power windows and locks are nice convenience features and no, the dash isnt cracked on this example like many R107 cars. Pop off the removable hardtop on this 380SL, place on the holding frame and enjoy the elements “Roadster style or change your look entirely with the Blue convertible- you can have it any way you want in this Mercedes! If youve already read this far Im sure youre giving this car serious thought- give our helpful and knowledgeable Sales team a call at (623) 900-4884 before someone else does and well put our eyes and ears on this German luxury 1983 Mercedes-Benz 380SL for you. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Chicago is excited to offer this 1995 Dark Cherry Metallic Chevrolet Impala SS. In 1994 Chevrolet reintroduced the Impala SS name and with it a car that made no compromises. Borrowing parts from its Corvette and Camaro siblings, these cars proved to be the ultimate sleeper sedan. There is no doubt that there are plenty of 90s retro muscle cars left in the wild but few even compare to the stunning original example we have to offer. With just over 9000 actual miles the car has barely been driven past its break in period! Underneath the hood youll find the original LT1 engine borrowed from the Corvette. Different factory touches from the Corvette included cast iron heads and a cam designed for more low end torque ratings, which gave these cars a healthy 260 HP and 330 lbft of torque. The muscular lines of the body paired with the eye catching Dark Cherry Metallic paint make this car instantly recognizable. At all four corners youll find beautiful five spoke aluminum factory wheels. Inside the cabin you will find ample room in the Grey leather interior for multiple guests to join you on your quest to terrorize the streets in this unassuming sedan. If you are in the market for a truly original 90s classic that is sure to become a desirable collectable, then this 1995 Chevy Impala SS is the car for you. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is proud to offer this super clean 1988 Pontiac Fiero GT. The 1988 model is considered the most desired for many reasons. Numerous changes were made to the 88 Fiero. The most significant was a completely redesigned suspension to realize the full potential of the mid-engine layout. The new suspension included new two-piece brake calipers and upgraded brake rotors. The GT model included the Upgraded 2.8L V6 motor, with 43hp more than the 4-cylinder engine, upgraded suspension, and wider tires. Topping off the package were the new vented disc brakes on all four corners. The Fieros mid-engine layout was chosen to reduce aerodynamic drag and vehicle weight to improve fuel efficiency, and for its handling, traction and braking benefits. This Awesome Fiero GT has just 45,712 original miles. This Fiero is in excellent condition. The owner meticulously took care of this car. This weekend driver has always been garage kept and properly maintained. Everything on this GT functions as it should. The best part happens to be the upgrades the owner chose to have installed. This GT has an LED headlight conversion, LED sequential taillight conversion that was custom ordered, and a Fiero GT third brake light kit. Lighting was just the start of this build. A Fiero Store side intake, Stainless Steel Ocelot Exhaust, Stainless Steel head pipe, heat coated header kit, a Cat delete that sounds fantastic, Chrome engine strut bar, and a polished aluminum engine dress up kit. The air conditioning was converted from R12 to R134. Also installed from the Fiero Store was a short throw shifter and new sway bar bushings and end links for the front and rear. A K&N air filter was installed to help the engine breath. A new performance clutch and throw out bearing was installed at 35,000 miles. This responsive car provides an memorable driving experience and looks the part. This Amazing Fiero GT is ready to be babied for years to come and a Future Collectible that will also be a blast to drive and enjoy! Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is honored to offer this sharp 1964 Buick Electra 225 Convertible. 1959 was the introduction year for the - now classic - Electra name and keeping with Buick tradition the Electra was built for speed and comfort and was considered a step above its rivals. The model received glowing praise from the motoring press and sold like hotcakes. To enhance the image and prestige of the Electra model, marketeers slapped the 225 moniker on the rear quarters. A brash nod to the 225 inches of real estate the Electra occupied from bumper to bumper. On the streets, it was affectionately called the Deuce and a Quarter. This 1964 Buick Electra 225 is an example of whats consider a high-water mark of GMs early 60s styling. With crisp, sharp, lines, and few flourishes, the styling was a far cry from the chrome laden jukeboxes of GMs 1950s line-up. Sporting creases as sharp as a tuxedo, this big girl has presence and class and the power to compliment it! Powered by a - owner claimed - original 401ci, 445 Wildcat V8; the big Deuce was rated at 325hp and 445ft/lbs of torque. This 55-year-old Electra lives up to the Buick tradition of speed and comfort. It has no problem getting out of its own way or keeping up with modern traffic. If the styling and power arent enough, this car is loaded with options. These include a power top, power drivers seat and power windows with red leather interior. The car is a claimed one owner car with the patina of a well-cared for heirloom thats just beginning to show signs of age. This is one to preserve before its too late. A full on restoration or preserve it as is with occasional top down cruising, this Electra will bring a smile to your face and turn lots of heads. Either way, dont let this 64 Deuce and a Quarter pass you by!
