Factory Cadillac LMP 900

-First Factory Effort Since Briggs Cunningham
-Multiple LeMans Entires
-Multiple Daytona/Sebring Entries
-Never wrecked
-Fully refreshed by RM Motorsports
-Major spares package including spare Cadillac Northstar Turbo engine
-Extra Body Panels
-Can be used in any major race series in the U.S. or Europe
-Only Cadillac Chassis to run LeMans twice

In the early 2000's Cadillac was looking to reinvent itself with edgy styling and they were looking to attract the younger generation over from BMW, Mercedes and Lexus. The V-Series was born. General Motors had just launched the “Corvette Racing Program” in 1999 and it was decided that they would enter the prototype program with the Cadillac. This was Cadillacs first factory efforts since it hired Briggs Cunningham to build its Series 61 and the “LeMonstra”. Cadillac enlisted the help of Riley & Scott to spear head the program. They developed a new car based loosely on the much successful Mk III C chassis. General Motors had much experience and success with its Indy Racing engine program and they used this engine as a twin-turbo version.

A total of seven chassis were built, two went to the U.S. team, three to the French DAMS team, one a show car and one a test car.

After the 2000 season, Cadillac enlisted the help of Mazda's Le Mans winner, Nigel Stroud. Nigel revised the aero of the car. The cars received a shorter and flatter body work, which is what you see the car as today. This particular car finished just off the podium behind the Audi R8's on 3 of 4 occasions in the 2001 season as high as 4th.

This car was run by Riley & Scott, except during the 2001 LeMans 24, it was run by DAMS. It was driven by the likes of Wayne Taylor, Max “The Ax” Angelelli, Butch Litzinger, Christophe Tinseau, Emmanuel Collard and Marc Goossens.

This particular chassis was raced at:
• Daytona-2000
• Sebring-2000
• LeMans Test-2000
• LeMans 24-2000
• ALMS Portland-2000
• ALMS Petit LeMans-2000
• LeMans Test-2001
• LeMans 24-2001
• ALMS Mostport-2001
• ALMS Petit LeMans-2001

This is a unique opportunity to own a piece of General Motors and Cadillac Racing History. This car was on display at the LeMans Museum in France.

This car was recently gone through with its mechanicals. A fresh paint job paint and factory graphics, new Menard 4.0 engine (exact same engine as the original, less turbos (zero miles), all new wiring, conversion to Motec ECU, new belts. The car has not been run as yet except on the dyno. Ryan Falconer Race Engines dyno'd and mapped the new Motec ECU. The Gearbox is an Xtrac sequential 6 speed. You can add paddle shifters to this gearbox if you preferred.

The original Northstar Twin Turbo Engine comes with the car with all of the piping, lines and fittings. Many other spare parts accompany this car: control arms, up rights, two spare gearbox cases, fuel cell, gears, axles, radiators, wheels, complete nose, all original wiring that was removed.

This car can be enjoyed in a collection or on the track as it is an automatic entry to any concours event from Amelia Island, The Quail Motorsports Gathering to the Goodwood Festival of Speed. It is an automatic entry to any historic racing in the U.S. or Europe with its international race history.

Description:

For sale in our Dallas showroom is a numbers matching 1978 Cadillac Seville Diesel. The odometer on this Red on Red Cadillac reads 60,634, and that is believed to be the actual mileage for both the body and drivetrain. Options for this 1978 Cadillac Seville include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio, Cruise Control, Wire Hub Caps, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Locks, Power Seats, Power Windows, Seat Belts, Rear Window Defogger, Tilt Wheel, Leather Interior, and Radial Tires. Powering this 78 Seville is the numbers matching Diesel 350 CID 5.7 Liter V8 engine that is matched to the original Turbo 400 automatic transmission, for a smooth reliable drivetrain. The plush Red leather interior matches the Red exterior perfectly. Its soft feel can accommodate long drives on a Sunday afternoon or your every day commute to work. The black and wood grain accents provide a great contrast to the Red leather. The Seville was produced by Cadillac from 1975 to 2004. It was initially intended to compete with the rise in popularity of the luxury import sedan craze led by Mercedes Benz and BMW, which were smaller in size than the typical Cadillac of the day. Bigger no longer meant better as these smaller luxury imports quickly took hold of a large portion of the market share. There were hundreds of names to choose from when naming the new model. The name Seville was first used in the Cadillac line to designate the two-door hard top version of the Eldorado in 1956. 1960 was last year of the Eldorado Seville. Seville is a province in Spain which is renowned for its rich history in art and architecture. To view this 1978 Cadillac Seville in greater detail including HD pictures and an HD video visit www.GatewayClassicCars.com or our Dallas showroom. Gateway Classic Cars of Dallas is pleased to offer this gorgeous 1988 Cadillac Allante convertible for sale in our Dallas-Fort Worth showroom. Presented in magnificent red with a tan leather interior, only 29,184 miles on the odometer, and a clean AutoCheck vehicle history report, this luxury roadster is ready to drive daily or to be your weekend cruiser. Features include air conditioning, AM-FM Cassette audio, cruise control, power brakes, steering, locks, seats, windows and mirrors. Contemporary safety equipment includes traction control, anti-lock brakes, seat belts, and driver and passenger airbags. The Cadillac Allante was produced by Cadillac from 1987 until 1993. It used a Cadillac chassis and running gear with a body built in Italy by coachbuilder Pininfarina. It was expensive to produce with the complete bodies flown to Detroit for final assembly. Over 21,000 were built during its seven-year production run. All Allante models featured a fully electronic instrument and control panel, which was angled towards the driver, and featured no knobs or manual controls. The front-wheel drive Allante roadster featured a transverse multi-port fuel injected variant of GMs aluminum 4.1 L HT-Cadillac 4100 V8, along with roller valve lifters, high-flow cylinder heads, and a tuned intake manifold. Suspension was independent strut front and rear, with Bosch ABS III four-wheel disc brakes. A removable aluminum hardtop, Delco-GM/Bose Symphony Sound System, the industrys first power retractable AM/FM/Cellular Telephone antenna, and a complex lamp-out module that substituted an adjacent lamp for a burned-out bulb in the exterior lighting system until the dead one could be replaced were all standard. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Denver welcomes this 1989 Cadillac Sedan Deville ! The Cadillac DeVille was originally a trim level and later a separate model produced by Cadillac. The first car to bear the name was the 1949 Coupe de Ville, a pillarless two-door hardtop body style with a prestige trim level above that of the Series 62 luxury coupe. The last model to be formally known as a DeVille was the 2005 Cadillac DeVille, a full-size sedan, the largest car in the Cadillac model range at the time. 1989 introduced an extensive exterior redesign which included a longer 113.8-inch wheelbase for sedans. The 155 hp (116 kW) 4.5-liter powerplant (introduced just a year earlier), dashboard, and the front doors (on both the coupe and sedan) were about the only items that carried over -- even the luggage compartment was over 2 cubic feet (0.057 m3) larger than last year. The Coupe de Ville and Fleetwood coupe retained the previous years interior, wheelbase, and doors--all cleverly hidden between the new front and rear styling. A give-away to the previous design is the rear shelf package on the 2-door models. While the parcel shelf on the four-door models received a Mercedes-Benz inspired storage compartment with lid, rear seat headrest panel, and a long 3-bulb horizontal brake lamp, the 2-door models still had the narrow carpeted parcel shelf and pedestal brake lamp from the previous year. Of special note were the composite (plastic) front fenders that resisted parking-lot dings and dents, and weighed less than their steel counterparts. Previously optional equipment that was made standard for 1989 included electrically powered outside mirrors and the AM/FM/cassette player stereo. New options introduced this year included a drivers side airbag, the Bose compact disc player, an electrically heated windshield, and a set of four reversible carpeted floor mats. Dont miss your opportunity to own a piece of Cadillac Sedan Deville history in our Denver Showroom. It can be seen in greater detail including 100+ HD pictures and a HD video at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

For 1993, the Fleetwood name (and exterior) was switched from the DeVille's front wheel drive C-body to the newly revised rear wheel drive D-body that the Cadillac Brougham had used previously. It was one of the first American front wheel drive vehicles to be returned to rear-wheel drive. At 225 inches (5,700 mm) overall, the Fleetwood was the longest production car made in the United States.[12] All Fleetwoods [except for the commercial chassis] had standard antilock brakes, traction control, and dual front airbags. In 1994, Cadillac used the Corvette-derived LT1[13] 350 cu in (5.7 L) engine to make 260 horsepower (190 kW) along with the new 4L60E automatic transmission.[11] Between 1993 and 1996, the Fleetwood commercial chassis was used instead of the DeVille for most funeral coaches and limousines produced during these years. The DeVille was used again in 1997, after production of the Fleetwood ceased. After 1996, the Cadillac Fleetwood was retired by General Motors along with all other rear-wheel drive sedans and the assembly plant was converted to truck production for the Chevrolet Suburban and Tahoe because of the increasing demand for SUVs.[12]

Packages

The Brougham option package included a full vinyl top, C-pillar badging, specific seat design with six-way driver's seat memory and heated and three-position lumbar front seats, instrument panel badging and rear seat storage armrest.

The 7,000 lb (3,200 kg) trailer towing package was made available 1993, a return to production sedan since the 1971–1976 Cadillac Sixty Special[citation needed]. The RPO V4P package included heavy duty cooling (RPO V08, which consisted of a seven-blade mechanical primary fan, a heavy-duty electrical secondary fan, and an extra capacity radiator), RPO FE2 Suspension System Ride Handling, HD 4L60 transmission, RPO KC4 Cooling System Engine Oil, RPO KD1 Cooling System Transmission Oil, RPO KG9 140 amp alternator, and RPO GT4 3.73 gears with an 8.5-inch ring gear. In 1994–1996, the V4P package was revised with RPO GU6 3.42 gears with the new more powerful RPO LT1 260 hp (194 kW) V8, and HD 4L60E transmission with revised accumulators to shift smoother with the shorter rear axle gearing.

Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to offer this 1987 Cadillac Allante convertible for sale in our Indianapolis showroom. Presented in Pearl White with a red leather interior, and with 38,404 miles on the odometer and a clean AutoCheck vehicle history report, this two door, two seat luxury roadster is ready to drive on a daily basis or to be used as a weekend cruiser. Features include air conditioning, AM-FM Cassette audio, cruise control, power brakes, steering, locks, seats, windows and mirrors. Contemporary safety equipment includes traction control, anti-lock brakes, seat belts, and driver and passenger airbags. The Cadillac Allant was produced by Cadillac from 1987 until 1993. It used a Cadillac chassis and running gear with a body built in Italy by coachbuilder Pininfarina. It was expensive to produce with the complete bodies flown to Detroit for final assembly. Over 21,000 were built during its seven-year production run. All Allant models featured a fully electronic instrument and control panel, which was angled towards the driver, and featured no knobs or manual controls. The front-wheel drive Allant roadster featured a transverse multi-port fuel injected variant of GMs aluminum 4.1 L (250 cu in) HT-Cadillac 4100 V8, along with roller valve lifters, high-flow cylinder heads, and a tuned intake manifold. Suspension was independent strut front and rear, with Bosch ABS III four-wheel disc brakes. A removable aluminum hardtop, Delco-GM/Bose Symphony Sound System (a $905 option on other Cadillacs), the industrys first power retractable AM/FM/Cellular Telephone antenna, and a complex lamp-out module that substituted an adjacent lamp for a burned-out bulb in the exterior lighting system until the dead one could be replaced were all standard. Description:

For sale in our Detroit showroom is a cool and classy 1978 Cadillac Eldorado Limited Biarritz. 1978 was the final year for the full-sized Eldorado, and to commemorate the final year of production, Cadillac introduced the Custom Biarritz Classic edition. The Custom Biarritz Classic was identical to the Custom Biarritz, with the exception of duo-tone pillowed leather interior in Light Beige and Dark Saddle, Dark Beige Leather steering wheel jacket, duo-tone exterior finish in Arizona Beige with Demitasse Brown Metallic accent on hood, doors, and roof, Dark Brown accent striping, and gold-plated Biarritz script on the sail panel and deck lid. With a very limited production number of only 2,000 made, it would be hard to find a nicer one out there! This 1978 Cadillac Eldorado Custom Biarritz Classic is powered by the big 425 CID V8 engine and is backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission with 86,536 actual miles! 1978 was the last year for the big body land yachts as the 1979 model year went to a slimmed-down version to help with emissions. Gone were the days of big block powered Cadillacs as they went to sharing the Buick Riviera platform and the 350 CID small block engine. Options on this Caddy include: A/C, AM/FM radio, cruise control, hub caps, power brakes, power steering, power locks, power seats, power windows, tilt/telescopic wheel, seat belts, leather interior, white walls, and radial tires.
