1979 PORSCHE 930 TURBO COUPE for sale. Motorcar Classics is pleased to offer this stunning 1979 Porsche 930 Turbo. Our Turbo has been fully restored in its original colors of Metallic Black on Cork (tan leather). The restoration was done by a respected Porsche shop and is photo-documented along with accompanying receipts and records. The restoration, completed in 2016, is authentic in colors and the car has all matching numbers in accordance with the included Porsche Certificate of Authenticity (COA). The car comes with full service records dating back to the early 1980s. The paint and finish were completed to the highest degree of quality. All panels were sanded down to the bare metal and properly prepared before any color was applied. The glass was taken out and all seals and gaskets were replaced. The interior was completely re-done with new leather and carpet. Even the factory steering wheel was re-covered. The engine was completely rebuilt, sealed, tuned and tested. It received all new spark plugs and wires and, with the exception of an aftermarket stainless steel exhaust system that sounds incredible, the drivetrain is correct and original to the car. Features include AC, Blaupunkt stereo, and chromed factory wheels. The suspension has been restored with new Koni Shocks and powder coated original control arms. The car has about 55k miles and has covered less than 1,000 miles since it was completed. Everything works properly and the car performs as new in all respects. It also comes with 2 keys, full set of tools, owner's manuals and a large binder of service records and documentation. Drive or show with pride.

Description:

This 1987 Porsche 911/930 Turbo is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. When Porsche introduced the 911 Turbo in 1975, they had essentially created a homologation special that was meant to sell 400 copies in a 24-month period. After they sold five times as many in that two years, they turned the project over to their marketing department, who took the 917/30 CAN-AM 3.0L and applied the technology to the Carrera RS 3.0. Porsche called it the 930 and almost immediately, it became the meanest car on the street. With blistering performance but also a comfort level not often associated with two-door cars, the 930 was a 911 on steroids, equally at home on the track as it is blasting through the Swiss Alps. As the first generation of the now storied 911 Turbo series continues to increase in value, the car remains highly collectible among air-cooled Porsche enthusiasts! This beauty has lived a very pampered life with 48818 miles original miles on this red rocket leaves it wide open for the serious collector or the one who wants to drive it. The black leather interior is in impressive condition with the seat showing no signs of wear. The 4 speed transmission shifts through all the gears nicely making this car an absolute blast to drive. The clean CARFAX shows no accidents and verifies the actual mileage of the car. All the gauges are intact and working as they should with the boost gauge being the one I would keep my eye on. If you have been looking at getting into one of these 930’s you may want to jump on this red beauty before someone grabs it and sticks it a private collection for their eyes only. Options on this 1987 Porsche 911/930 Turbo include, Factory Sport Seats, Limited Slip Differential, Air Conditioning, AM/FM radio with Cassette, Power Seats, Power Sunroof, Power Windows, Power Brakes, Seat Belts, leather interior, and Radial Tires wrapped on Aluminum Wheels. To see 100+ HD pictures and videos of this 1987 Porsche 911 Turbo, please visit GatewayClassicCars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to present this 2002 Porsche Boxster S for sale in our Indianapolis showroom. With just 30,215 miles on the odometer, this 3.2 liter 6 speed Porsche has miles and miles of driving pleasure to be enjoyed. The 2002 Boxster S develops 260 hp at 6200 rpm and torque is rated at 229 lbs-ft at 4600 rpm from a 3.2-liter flat-6 driving through a six speed manual transmission. The differences in suspension between a regular model and the S are that the latter has stiffer springs (by 25 percent at the front, 23 percent in the rear), retuned shock-absorber damping, longer rear lower control arms and larger wheel bearings -- all to improve stability during high-speed cornering. The really strong suit of this two-seater is its chassis balance. Every ounce of power gets applied, and the lateral stick really challenges your neck muscles. On winding two-lane backroads, the S rack-and-pinion slices and dices with razor-sharp response, a tacked-to-the-tarmac feel, and no on-center lag. If tire bite diminishes on a rough patch, you instantly know about it and can respond before the chassis does anything silly and costly. The ride is quite good for a lightweight two-seater. Only rarely does a really nasty expansion joint or a particularly deep pothole elicit anything more than a subdued thud and a polite wheel waggle. Simply beautiful, terrifically fun, and remarkably civilized in day-to-day driving, the Boxster S makes instant fans out of new drivers. If you’re looking for a two seat sportscar, look no further. To view this 2002 Porsche Boxster S, please visit our site at www.gatewayclassiccars.com, call 317-688-1100, or email us at indy@gatewayclassiccars.com. To see this Boxster S in person, stop by our showroom located at 4400 W 96th Street, Carmel, IN 46268. https://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/NDY/1175/2002-Porsche-Boxster-S

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is thrilled to present this blast-from-the-past 1985 Porsche 944 in our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. These 944’s were the successor of the famous 924 and all the rage in the 80’s. Indeed, these cars are still sought after by Porsche enthusiasts the world over. Of course, Porsche is still most well-recognized for their air-cooled, rear-engined cars but this 944 has a front-engine 2.5l 4 cylinder tied to a fun-loving 5-speed manual transmission that will provide endless entertainment on quiet, country roads. Our Porsche 944 for sale comes in an eye-catching Cherry Red exterior paintjob with a Black leather interior which will remind you that you are in a high-end car built in Germany that cost the equivalent of $50,000 in today’s dollars when it was on showroom floors in 1985. This low-mileage Porsche (just over 42,000 actual, according to the seller) will create a lot of memories for its next loving owner. This 1985 Porsche 944 for sale right now includes the following options: Air Conditioning, Targa-Top (1 piece removable hardtop), Power Seats, Power Sunroof, Anti-Lock Brakes, Aftermarket LED Headlights and my personal favorite the neon lights that the seller has installed under the car, which are sure to light up any car show. You will love pumping your favorite tunes in this German coupe with the aftermarket Pioneer Stereo system installed in the dash linked up to the booming two 12” Infinity subwoofers in the trunk. Description:

For sale in our Atlanta Showroom is this 1984 Porsche 944. Porsche introduced the 944 for 1982. It was slightly faster and was better equipped and more refined than the 924; it had better handling and stopping power, and was more comfortable to drive. The factory-claimed top speed of 130 mph, Autocar verified a top speed of 137. The car had nearly even front to rear weight distribution (50.7% front/49.3% rear) thanks to the rear transaxle balancing out the engine in the front. This make it not only on the best handling cars on the road, but also gives you confidence to drive how you want. It is a pleasure for us to represent a car like this Porsche, This 944 has 76,337 actual miles and is a one owner and has a clean car fax of course, but also has the service records to show how well maintained it has been over its life time. This car was sought after by a couple of Porsche dealers to put in their showroom because it is the best example of a clean and original 944 they had ever witnessed. The all original 4 cylinder has plenty of life left because of the incredible amount of maintenance put into the car over the years. Going through the 5-speed transmission shows the reason Porsche has owned the racing world for generations. The black leather interior sits you into a comfortable but sporty arrangement for driving. For sale in our Fort Lauderdale showroom is this super nice 1984 Porsche 944. If you are looking for an extreme clean and beautiful example of a 944 – stop looking. This beauty just rolled into our South Florida showroom and we are excited to have it with us. The car is just broken in with a little over 85k original miles. You are looking at a one owner Porsche that was garage kept her whole life in beautiful California until she was recently relocated to sunny Florida to the new owner. The 944 Porsches are still undervalued, and it is extremely hard to find the real good ones. This one is probably one of the nicest in the country. The exterior presents itself in excellent condition. You will have a tuff time to find any wear or tear. The black wheels are a great match to the golden paint. Open the door and see a super clean interior. No weird smells and you will immediately see that she was pampered her whole life. The seats look like the Porsche was only driven a couple of test miles. In the rear you will find the 2.5L engine that moves the 944 to the front. In connection with the 5 speed-manual transmission this car out of Stuttgart is lots of fun. With many options she is ready to go the extra mile with comfort. To make sure she is ready for the third owner the car was completely serviced recently. But the best about this car is that she is solid as a rock. We all know about the California dry weather. There is not one area where a magnet won’t stick and if you peak underneath the car – you will get back up with a smile on your face. This is a must see. Please don’t hesitate to contact us with any questions. Let it ride!!! To see 100+ HD pictures and a video of this 1984 Porsche 944, please visit gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

For sale in our St. Louis Showroom is a Grey Metallic 1993 Porsche 968 Cabriolet. The 968 was a front engine, rear wheel drive car produced by Porsche AG from 1992 to 1995. It replaced the 944, which it shared 20% of its parts with, also taking over the entry level position for Porsche. The 968 was offered as a coupe or a convertible. It is powered by a 3.0L, 16-valve, straight 4-cylinder engine that produces 237 horsepower and 225 lb-ft torque. A 6-speed manual transmission transfers the power to the rear end with authority. This Porsche 968 is finished in Grey Metallic, which is believed to be one of only 47 in that particular color. The black leather interior matches the exterior color beautifully, it does show some age, but still presents well. The convertible top was replaced in 2016, at that time the power top was disabled, and converted to a manual top operation. The odometer reads 82,064, which represents the actual mileage on the car. Options for this 1993 Porsche 968 Cabriolet include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Manual Convertible Top, Cruise Control, Seat Belts, Leather Interior, Driver/Passenger Airbag, Power Mirrors, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. These 968’s are good looking cars, and you just do not see many out on the road today. This is a great opportunity to scoop up a beautiful Porsche 968 Cabriolet in a very rare color. This 968 is begging for a curvy black top road to stretch its legs on. Description:

This white 1987 Porsche 928 S4 is now available for purchase at Gateway Classic Cars in our Saint Louis Showroom. BACKGROUND: The Porsche 928 is a luxury grand tourer produced by Porsche AG of Germany from 1978 to 1995. Originally intended to replace the companys iconic 911, the 928 combined the power, poise, and handling of a sports car with the refinement, comfort, and equipment of a luxury saloon. Porsche executives believed such a flagship would have wider appeal than the compact, quirky and sometimes difficult 911. The 928 has the distinction of being the companys first production V8 powered model and the only coupé powered by a front-mounted V8 engine. This particular 1987 Porsche 928 S4 has a clean Auto Check Vehicle History Report with no reported accidents. Included in the documentation that comes with the vehicle is a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity and receipts for recent improvements and repairs done on the Porsche. Included in that group of improvement is a new radio with Bluetooth. The exterior of this Porsche is in good condition. There is no rust anywhere on the vehicle and it has just a few minor imperfections on the body. The exterior plastic parts, such as the wing spoiler do not show the amount of fading respective to its age. The interior is also in good condition. There are some signs of wear on the drivers seat, but the dash, gauges, electronics, sun roof, and the carpet are all in very good shape. Mechanically, as you can see and hear in the video, this Porsche is running smooth and strong as it ever did. It is shifting strong and accelerating according to the high performance for which it was designed. In short, you have every reason to inquire further about this 1987 Porsche 928 S4 by viewing it in greater detail, including HD pictures and an HD video of the car running and driving at our website - http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Our Detroit Showroom is proud to present this awesome 1987 Porsche 928 S4. This very well documented Porsche is dressed in Guards Red over Black Leather and sports its original paint with all original VIN tags still in place! The original interior looks like it was very well kept and currently has just shy of 85,000 original miles on the clock. Ownership history on this one can be traced back to day one and the current collector has done great maintenance work to make sure this 928 S4 performs just as it should. The gas tank was dropped and drained and a new fuel filter and Bosch fuel pump were replaced. The transmission has been flushed several times including replacing transmission lines. The timing belt and water pump were done less than 2,000 miles ago and additionally a PK tensioner upgrade was completed to keep from having to check the tension. The MAF and the LH computer were both recently rebuilt. The front Brembo calipers were recently rebuilt with eight new alloy pistons by Centric. The list of records and invoices for this Porsche stretch longer than train tracks and this would be an awesome well documented collector piece considering this Porsche is starting to catch steam. The thrill of driving a 928 S4 will always be there because everybody knows there is nothing like driving a Porsche. With the recent work done on this Porsche, this is likely one of the better buys on the market that you can actually drive, enjoy and collect. 1973 PORSCHE 911S for sale. Motorcar Classics is proud to present this 1973 Porsche 911S Coupe featured in Metallic Green (#8383) with Cork leatherette interior. This car has been subject to a meticulous, thoroughly documented, nut and bolt restoration. It has known history going back about 40 years and a huge photo file showing the best craftsmanship applied to a sound original car. Its current configuration matches the included Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. From notes in the history the car appears to have been owned by a mechanic in Palm Beach, FL from 1982-84. He purchased it from the wife of a fellow who owned the car from 1973-82. The mechanic sold it to another fellow in FL who owned it from 1984-2004. During that time he advanced the odometer from 72k to 104k miles and it is reported to have had an undamaged history. At one point he painted and re-trimmed the car. In 2004 the car was sold on to an enthusiast in Los Angeles. Then, in 2005 the car was purchased by another enthusiast in the East who after owning the car for many years commissioned the total nut and bolt restoration putting the car is the superb condition you see today. The 1973 911S is powered by Porsches 2.4L motor with MFI (mechanical fuel injection) with a 5-speed gearbox. These are rated by enthusiasts among the most desireable and best handling of the early 911s. With 185 HP, this 911S does 0-60 in about 6.6 seconds, which was outstanding for the period. Here is an investment-grade collectible Porsche with known history, documented restoration, matching numbers, and a delightful special order color combination. Drive, tour or show with pride.

Description:

For sale in our St. Louis is a super-fun 2008 Porsche Boxster. Picture blasting through a section of curvy back roads behind the wheel of a beautiful sports car, but not just any sports car, a German engineered Porsche. With the engine placed in the middle of the car for weight distribution, and a proper 5 speed manual transmission, youre piloting a real drivers car. The raspy flat 6 growls with an intimidating exhaust note and the wind is in your hair with the convertible top lowered. What could be better? As sports cars go, this baby is a bargain. With only 50,785 miles on the clock, this hardly broken in Porsche is begging to be driven even more. The metallic brown paint shimmers in the sunlight and looks great against the dark tan leather interior. The dark brown cloth top goes up and down at the push of a button, but this Porsche looks its best with the top down ripping through the turns on sunny days. Options for this 2008 Porsche Boxster include: Air Conditioning, AM/FM Radio with CD Player, Cruise Control, Leather Interior, Seat Belts, Driver/Passenger Airbag, Anti-Theft System, Anti-Lock Brakes, Tilt Wheel, Traction Control, Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Power Mirrors, Radial Tires, and Aluminum/Alloy Wheels. Theres only seating for you and your closest friend, but with ample trunk space, it would make for a great weekend getaway car. If youre more of the adventurous type, Boxsters make great track day cars, and there are even racing divisions dedicated to the model.
