Description:

For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1970 Plymouth ‘Cuda 440 6 pack and by 6 pack I don’t mean Budlight®. This 70 ‘Cuda for sale has everything going for it, it is a numbers matching car, it is the right color, has a 440 CID V8 and a 4 speed manual transmission which is controlled by a Hurst® pistol grip shifter, it has just under gone a rotisserie restoration and it has less than 15,000 miles on it total only about 300 since complete rebuild. Ok that is the summation, now let’s get to the specifics. Covered in Hemi Orange this 1970 Barracuda for sale looks better than it did sitting on the lot before the first car salesman had a chance to dust off the tires. Looking through the open door and the high-backed bucket seat and Hurst® pistol grip shifter are a dead giveaway to the power lurking under the hood. Once you open the hood the secret is out for anyone who glances as the oval air cleaner is indicative of the 3 two-barrel Holley® carburetors that can’t hide underneath as it is clearly labeled 440 SIX PK. Backing all this muscle is a Dana® 60 rear axle that is more than up to the task of planting all this potential power to the pavement. This ’70 Cuda for sale was purchased by the current owner with less than 15,000 original miles on it. If I had been the original buyer, I would have put that many miles on it on the way home and most if not all of those miles would have been in front of Mustangs and Camaros! If you are looking for a car that will bring the “oooh’s “and “AAAAAhhh’s” at your local car shows, is fun to drive and almost certainly be worth more in 5 years than it is today then stop looking and start dialing. Options for this 1970 Cuda SIX pack for sale include: AM radio, Seat belts, Vinyl interior, Posi traction, Rally rims and Bias ply tires. For more information call the Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or email us at nashville@gatewayclassiccars.com http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/NSH/670/1970-Plymouth-Cuda

The Plymouth De Luxe was produced from 1946 to 1950, with the top trim line being the Special De Luxe model. The first post-war Plymouth Deluxe rolled off the assembly line on October 22, 1945, at the dealership people arrived in droves to get their name on the list for a brand new car. Plymouth literature claimed there were 50 updates on their post-war model that improved upon the pre-war model. For the 1946-48 model years, the 3.6L Inline Six was boosted to 95hp. This engine was produced from the 1920s to the 1970s, proving that if it isnt broke you shouldnt fix it this long-lived engine became a Legendary motor. Plymouths tag line during this post-war era was “Outside and in, its a completely new Plymouth. Compare it feature for feature. Sit in it. Ride in it. Drive it. Then youll surely agree. This car cruises down the road with the best of them, and represents an era for Chrysler where they put function before style. Reliability and function were at the forefront of design, Chrysler President wanted a consumer to be able to sit bolt-upright wearing a hat comfortably while he drove down the road. The Plymouth is a perfect example of 1940s practicality its comfortable, spacious, smooth idling engine, built to withstand the wear and tear of use. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to offer a stunning 1939 Plymouth Road King P-8 street rod. This award winning street rod has been beautifully assembled with help from some of the best in the business. This all steel 39 has been professionally stripped and prepped for one of the nicest black paintjobs you will find. The body modifications are subtle, such as removing side vents, bumpers and mounts removed, and the addition of a custom rear roll pan which houses the single exhaust outlet. The body style is so beautiful, there is no need to chop or channel, by simply smoothing and simplifying, a custom looking body is the result. This sedan sits on its original chassis that has been modified to accommodate a Mustang II front suspension and air ride and has been powder coated for durability. The Mustang II setup is from Lakeshore Fabrication which features air ride, Heidts 2 drop spindles, and Unisteer steering. The brakes are supplied by Wilwood and are drilled and slotted disc in all four corners. The rear suspension features a 4 bar setup with air ride. The rear end is a 9 Ford with a 3.26 final drive ratio and limited slip. The Plymouth sits on one off Foose wheels, 18 in front and 20 in the rear wrapped in Nitto tires. Under the hood is a hot LS2 GM crate engine. These LS engines have become the go-to for street rodders looking for a powerful and reliable drive train. The LS2 is mostly stock but does have a custom made air intake which utilizes a classic style air cleaner from a 56 Buick Nailhead. To stay true to the car, custom valve covers have been made as well to sport the Plymouth name. The LS2 breathes through Sanderson headers and dual exhaust that exits through a center outlet. The transmission is a 4L80-E automatic with overdrive. The interior is very tastefully done with saddle leather throughout. Wood grain on the dash and window surrounds give a classy look as well as the original steering wheel. Modern comforts like power seat and air conditioning are nicely integrated so they dont look out of place. To quench your thirst during those summer month car shows, the center console doubles as a drink cooler which drains to the outside. The air compressor and battery are nicely hidden behind a panel in the beautifully finished trunk. The entire interior features square weave carpet which adds to the classy look. Overall class and refinement has been kept in mind when building this street rod. Theres no flames, or TV screens, or gaudy colors. The Plymouth still has the spirit of the original car, with the comfort, and performance of a modern car. You can see this 1939 Plymouth Road King P-8 in greater detail in our St. Louis showroom or at www.GatewayClassicCars.com. Please contact 618-271-3000 or stl@gatewayclassiccars.com with inquiries.

Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of St. Louis is proud to present this mean Sassy Grass Green 1971 Plymouth Barracuda for sale in our St. Louis showroom. The Plymouth Barracuda is a two-door car that was manufactured by Plymouth from the 1964 1/2 to 1974 model years. The first-generation Barracuda, a fastback A-body coupe based on the Plymouth Valiant, had distinctive wraparound back glass and was available from 1964 1/2 to 1966. The second-generation 1967 to 1969 Barracuda, though still Valiant-based, was heavily redesigned. Second-generation A-body cars were available in fastback, notchback, and convertible versions. This car you see today was originally a 318 car but was long gone before the restoration took place to this gorgeous machine. This second generation 1971 Barracuda is not a numbers matching car, but it is one bad ass looking and running machine. The engine is a built 440 with Aluminum Edelbrock Heads and a set of Hooker Headers bolted to them. It is backed by a Tremec Magnum 6 speed transmission with a pistol grip on top to make it a blast to bang through the gears. The Barracuda was changed slightly for 1971, with a new grille and taillights, seat, and trim differences. This would be the only year that the Barracuda would have four headlights, also the only year of the fender gills on the Cuda model. The most popular items from the remodel on the 71 model Barracudas was the cheese grader grill and the gills on the fenders. The exterior color is Sassy Grass Green which is one of the most popular colors from the choice of high impact colors available at this time. The Sassy Grass Green is complimented very nicely by the black interior and black body stripes denoting the 440 engine that sits under the hood. This 1971 Cuda is true example of classic Mopar muscle and is ready for a new home and can be yours! What set our Laser apart from the pack is that; it is in fantastic factory condition, it is the fully loaded turbo all wheel drive model sporting the 6spd transmission, and it comes with extensive service records detailing the history of maintenance done to this factory original, 66,000 mile laser. The is no better way to relive 90s performance than hopping into this factory fresh DSM! Be Sure to visit our main web page, www.gatewayclassiccars.com where you can view 100+ pictures, and a short video of this amazing car in action. Or better yet, stop by our Indianapolis showroom and see the car for yourself! We are located at 4400 West 96th Street, Indianapolis, Indiana. Were available Monday thru Saturday from 9am to 5pm EST. Description:

Our Nashville showroom digitally showcases this stunning well built 1950 Plymouth Special Deluxe! The Plymouth Deluxe was a full-sized automobile, produced by Plymouth from 1946-1950. It came in two trim levels, the Deluxe and the top-of-the-line Special Deluxe. As the war in Europe wound down, the U.S. government slowly began allowing the automobile industry to return to the car-making business. It had been four years since any new cars had been built, and those cars still on the road were beginning to show their age. Plymouths new models for 1946 were once again offered in two series, the P15S Deluxe and P15C Special Deluxe. Deluxe body styles included a four-door sedan, two-door sedan, club coupe, and business coupe. Waiting lists were common at dealerships. Those wanting a new car placed their name, and often a cash deposit, with the dealer. Customers hoped that as new cars became available. The first post-war Plymouth, a P15S Deluxe, came off the line October 22, 1945. Special Deluxes would follow four days later. Bodies for the P15 Plymouths were virtually unchanged from 1942, with only minor trim differences. Engineering magic greets you right from the start. You dont grope for a starter button or pedal. You dont pull on a choke. You simply turn the ignition key- and the engine starts. Plymouth literature claimed fifty improvements over the prewar cars; many were of little significance but were changes nonetheless. Mechanically there were few changes. The 217 ci engine stayed the same and was still rated at 95 hp, attained at 3600 rpm instead of 3400 rpm. An economy engine package using a smaller intake manifold and carburetor with 1 inch bore returned to the option list. Aluminum pistons replaced the cast iron ones that had been mandated during the war. Like many vendors, Carter couldnt supply enough of their model D6G 1 carburetors to meet Plymouths production demands; Stromberg, which normally supplied Ford, provided its model 3-84 carburetor. Replacing the disposable oil filter was a new cleanable canister that contained a replacement cartridge. This is what we call a great survivor, repainted and ready for the road. Description:

For sale in our Ft. Lauderdale showroom is this very nice 1958 Plymouth Savoy. The Plymouth Savoy is an automobile model produced from the 1954 through 1964. Plymouth used the name Savoy on several automobiles. From 1951-1953, the Savoy name was used on a station wagon, upgrading the base model Suburban. Later was a line of full-sized Plymouths from 1954-1961. Another incarnation was among Plymouths downsized full-size cars from 1962-1964. As with Plymouths Plaza and Belvedere models, the Savoy was named after an upscale hotel, the Savoy Hotel in London. For the 1957 and 1958 model years, the line added a four-door hardtop sedan. This four-door 1958 Plymouth Savoy looks very good with the White and Red exterior in great shape and highlighted by just the right amount of chrome. The Red and white cloth interior looks just as good and perfectly offsets the two-tone exterior. Powered by a 4.6 Ford motor and an automatic transmission. This 1958 Plymouth Savoy will make a great addition to any collection. It would also make a really cool daily driver. Description:

Now for sale in our Houston showroom is this one-of-a-kind Hemi Orange 1971 Plymouth Cuda. Fresh out of a 3-year restoration, with parts accumulated as far back as the beginnings of its owners planning stages 8 years ago, this car is a complete nut-and-bolt build. Under the hood is one beastly Elephant. Starting with a fresh Indy Cylinder Head-built 770HP 572 CID Hemi, built from a World Iron Hemi block with 4.5 x 4.5 bore and stroke, stuffed with top-of-the line Diamond 10.75:1 pistons atop forged Eagle 7.1/2.2 H-Beam rods, connected to a Forged Eagle crankshaft, and topped with a set of 426-S/R Aluminum Hemi Heads sporting 2.25 intake and 1.94 exhaust valves, this thing will wrinkle pavement. Chrome Moly retainers with 7-degree locks keep the valvetrain in check under the MP Roller Rocker Arms (1.57 and 1.52 intake-exhaust ratios, respectively). A Comp Cams .574/.551 cam with 242/248 duration and a 110-degree lobe center provides tons of torque through the powerband, and a very healthy lope. Indy Cylinder Head cast valve covers with custom 572 engraving fitted with Keith Black breathers, and a Mopar Performance dual-plane single 4bbl intake with an 850 CFM Mighty Demon Carb with mechanical secondaries sit atop the massive mill, while a Milodon 30930 8-quart deep sump oil pan complete with windage tray keeps the vital Brad Penn oil ready to flow foam-free throughout the crankcase. An MSD Pro Billet distributor and MSD coil send MSD 6AL-boosted spark to each cylinder through ICH Fire Core plug wires, ensuring complete and massive fuel ignition. A custom heavy duty hydraulic clutch grabs the billet steel flywheel, which is housed in a titanium bellhousing mated to a specially-built Tremec TKO 600 5-speed manual transmission, sending the twist out back via a special HD Dom steel driveshaft to the Strange Engineering-built Dana 60 rear end with 3.54:1 gears and limited slip differential. An LPW Racing aluminum differential cover (rear-end girdle) keeps things where they should be in the third member and helps maximize gear life and performance. Slip inside into the pilot seat, and youll feel like you were back in 1971, only better! An all new interior, complete with new door panels, carpet, etc.; along with new leather seating all around (done by Legendary Leather), fills your nostrils with the scent of fine hides and new car...until you fire it up...but, well get to that part in a minute...Gaze at the new dash, filled with NOS gauges behind the vintage Cuda steering wheel on the adjustable steering column, and youll note that this baby has only a tick over 1000 miles on it. Let your right hand slip down to the pistol grip shift knob atop the Hurst Competition Plus short-throw shifter, and youll be itchin to fire it up, with your anticipation going into overdrive about hearing this beast come to life. Go ahead, twist the key in the ignition, and ITS ALIVE! The mighty Elephant roars to life, and quickly settles to a lopey burble. Youll practically feel the spent fossils exiting the exhaust ports into the custom TTI Ceramic-coated headers (coated both internally and externally), as the gigantic 2 1/8 primaries suck the gases from the engine into the full 3 stainless dual exhaust system, exiting from the through the valance exhaust tips out back. While youre anticipating the carnage youre going to wreak on the massive 295/50R15 BFG Radial TA tires (on new vintage 15x10 Cuda wheels) out back, tune in your favorite station on the Cuda radio (a new Antique Auto Radio head unit), switch on the GEN IV Vintage A/C to max cool (because YOU are now Max Cool in this gnarly ride), depress the clutch and slip it into first of the five gears youre getting ready to grab, and BOOM - youre off! As you hit the asphalt, youll feel how well the car handles, with its special rate springs and QA1 shocks at each corner. Adding to the improved driving feel from the shocks and springs, are the tubular control arms with all new bushings, sway bars, upper and lower ball joints, tie rods, pitman arm, and new steering gear box (by Firm Feel), all contributing to making this car drive with a smooth and tight feel. If you launch hard, youll feel how well the fully-welded subframes and Caltracs traction bars keep the power down and the body straight. If you decide to explore the velocity limits of this mighty Hemi Orange Cuda, youll be glad to know you have a full Wilwood 4-wheel disc brake system, complete with Hydra-boost, to haul you down quickly and fade-free. While the Vintage A/C keeps you cool, the massive HD Racing aluminum radiator and twin electric fans do their part to help the HD aluminum water pump moving cooler coolant through the mighty 572, making for a trouble-free drive. Its black-powder-coated serpentine pulley system keeps things tidy in the engine bay and provides greater precision in belt alignment and more uniform operation of pulley-driven accessories. Options on this 71 Hemi Cuda for sale include: AM/FM Stereo Radio, Air Conditioning, Custom Leather Interior, Power Brakes, Power Steering, Radial Tires, Seat Belts, and Tilt Steering Wheel. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars is pleased to offer this heavy hitter, a 1970 Plymouth Hemi Cuda tribute located at our showroom in West Deptford, NJ! Shedding its Valiant roots, the Plymouth Barracuda entered the scene with a brand-new look in 1970. Featuring a radical restyling on the new E-Body platform, this car was ready to do battle against GM and Ford pony car contenders in performance and style. The challenging task of fitting Chryslers 426 Hemi engine into the previous A-Body Barracudas was one of the main reasons a redesign of the car was necessary. The Hemi fit like a glove in the new E-Body thanks to the larger cowl structure and all was set to rock the muscle car world. This incredible Hemi Cuda tribute continues the legend from the powerplant to the paint! Nothing was left untouched during the extensive restoration by Clark Classic Restorations in Greenville, NC. While it started life as a 318 Barracuda, this car underwent an unparalleled transformation into the performance machine you see now. Utilizing original sheet metal, the body was mounted on a rotisserie where the real work began. A gorgeous coat of Lemon Twist Yellow paint was applied along with the sporty hockey-stripe bodyside stripes that accentuate the performance aspect of the Plymouth Cuda. The heart and soul of the car, the fully-built 426 CID V8 Hemi crate engine rumbles with authority through Mandrel bent exhaust and ceramic long tube headers. Linked to the powerplant is a Mancini Racing 727 automatic transmission that shifts beautifully thanks to an iconic pistol grip slap-stik shifter. Press on the gas to feel that familiar launch found only with a Big Block Mopar! Thats a Mancini Racing Dana 60 9 rear with 3.54 gears! Additional performance features include Heavy Duty Dutchman 35 spline Axle, light weight driveshaft and 1350 Spicer U joints, Heidts Front End, Hemi K Member, Correct Hemi Leaf Springs, Powermaster Starter and Alternator, Adjustable Koni shocks, Track Style Front and Rear Brake Linings, Power Front Disc Brakes with slotted drilled rotors and so much more! Stroll to the inside of this gorgeous ride to reveal a crisp white leather interior that looks just as it did when it left the factory thanks to Legendary Auto Interiors. Take a seat in the comfortable buckets and blast that AM/FM Radio with 8 Track and MP3 input rebuilt by Wards Classic Radio Repair! Cruise with the matching white automatic convertible top down on those sunny days and relax knowing you are driving the coolest car of them all! Wrap your hands around the custom wood steering wheel and take note of the clean gauges including a fully-functioning clock. From the unique slotted courtesy lights to the seat belts redone by Ssnake-Oyl of Texas, the interior on this Cuda is off the hook! Simply stated, this Cuda is awesomeness in physical form. Just look at that Shaker Hood, a standard option with those who checked off the Hemi box when they sat with their Chrysler-Plymouth Dealer. This hood did more than just shake when the Hemi unleashed its fury, it allowed cooler, denser air to enter those twin carbs! The pice de rsistance is the set of 15x8 rallye wheels that convey the message that this car means business. The 1970 Hemi Cuda produced some of the most frightening quarter-mile times ever back in the day and it remains one of the most revered muscle cars ever made. Heres your chance to own one! This build was highly documented and was done right as anyone can see. With only 284 miles on the build, this car is ready to run! Give us a call today to make this beauty yours! Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is ecstatic to feature this wild 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner for sale right now in our Arizona showroom, located in North Phoenix. Well, ok, its not REALLY a Roadrunner- at least not underneath the surface anyway. This vehicle is a unique mating of a 1969 Roadrunner body and a 2017 Dodge Challenger R/T Scat Pack running gear, interior, engine and transmission that was painstakingly assembled and adjusted over two years. The 2017 Challenger was a salvaged vehicle with around 4,300 miles on the powertrain but only the body was damaged on the car. Better yet, this Road-Challenger (call it whatever you want- thats what Im going with!) comes with a clean branded, 1969 Plymouth title. Painted in “Vitamin C Orange with Matte Black Rallye Stripes on the hood, this amazing build just keeps getting better when you take into account all the details. The 20 inch chrome wheels, satellite antenna on the roof, “392 air-brushed graphics on the hood scoops and air intake through the driver side front lights hint at whats hiding below. Otherwise its hard to tell what youre looking at from the outside, especially with the correct Roadrunner stickers and badges in place. Open and close the doors with your modern keyless entry remote and youll notice that they fit much like a new vehicle. The door trim itself is a custom transition between old and new and once youre in the Challenger Orange/Black buckets you are transported to the 21st Century. From here, its modern Mopar with a familiar layout that includes a functional 8.4 inch Uconnect touch screen infotainment system and a long list of creature comforts you wouldnt get in a classic car. You can even operate remote engine start on this Road-Challenger! Have you ever lamented the demise of vent windows? They are available on this one-of-a-kind build! I havent even covered whats powering this Road-Challenger, because theres nothing to complain about there. The Challenger 6.4l Hemi (392 CID) V8 making 500hp and 470lb ft of torque is tied to an 8-speed automatic transmission. With the performance that modern engineering is putting out, its a no brainer to combine it with classic muscle car styling. This ones all done and ready to show off! Give us a call today for more information on this 1969 Plymouth Roadrunner- an epic Mopar marriage of old and new.
