Description:

Manufactured in January of 1972, this Jaguar XJ6 is registered as a 1973, as was often the case back then. The car was listed as the year registered as opposed to manufactured.

This is a Series 1 Jaguar XJ6 and has the much sleeker lower, chrome bumpers without the massive, ugly rubber inserts and the split grill.

The 4.2 Litre engine is the original to the car and she is completely numbers matching.

The interior was redone and the engine and trans rebuilt by Bassett Jaguars in RI. At the same time, the brakes were completely overhauled. There are less than 2000 miles on the rebuilt engine. At the same time, there was a new exhaust installed, new electronic ignition, spin on oil filter adapter installed, 5 new BFGoodrich Touring T/A tires, 2 new gas tanks and the carburetors rebuilt. The car has power steering and power brakes, but did not come equipped with A/C.

The car itself has 101,000 miles on the clock. The blue leather interior is in beautiful condition, very soft and supple. The wood within was taken out and stripped by the owner's Dad before he passed away several years ago, he installed a Momo steering wheel at that point.. The car runs and drives extremely well.

This car has a clean CT title. The asking price is negotiable.

Please contact me to make an offer, with questions, comments, etc.
Thank you for the interest in this great driving jaguar XJ6.

Description:

For sale in our Nashville showroom is a 1970 Plymouth ‘Cuda 440 6 pack and by 6 pack I don’t mean Budlight®. This 70 ‘Cuda for sale has everything going for it, it is a numbers matching car, it is the right color, has a 440 CID V8 and a 4 speed manual transmission which is controlled by a Hurst® pistol grip shifter, it has just under gone a rotisserie restoration and it has less than 15,000 miles on it total only about 300 since complete rebuild. Ok that is the summation, now let’s get to the specifics. Covered in Hemi Orange this 1970 Barracuda for sale looks better than it did sitting on the lot before the first car salesman had a chance to dust off the tires. Looking through the open door and the high-backed bucket seat and Hurst® pistol grip shifter are a dead giveaway to the power lurking under the hood. Once you open the hood the secret is out for anyone who glances as the oval air cleaner is indicative of the 3 two-barrel Holley® carburetors that can’t hide underneath as it is clearly labeled 440 SIX PK. Backing all this muscle is a Dana® 60 rear axle that is more than up to the task of planting all this potential power to the pavement. This ’70 Cuda for sale was purchased by the current owner with less than 15,000 original miles on it. If I had been the original buyer, I would have put that many miles on it on the way home and most if not all of those miles would have been in front of Mustangs and Camaros! If you are looking for a car that will bring the “oooh’s “and “AAAAAhhh’s” at your local car shows, is fun to drive and almost certainly be worth more in 5 years than it is today then stop looking and start dialing. Options for this 1970 Cuda SIX pack for sale include: AM radio, Seat belts, Vinyl interior, Posi traction, Rally rims and Bias ply tires. For more information call the Nashville showroom at 615-213-1800 or email us at nashville@gatewayclassiccars.com http://www.gatewayclassiccars.com/NSH/670/1970-Plymouth-Cuda

Description:

For sale in our Dallas-Ft. Worth showroom is this gorgeous tuxedo black 1959 Chevrolet Corvette convertible. This stunning car has a beautiful red interior, a 270 hp 2x4 solid lift 283 with a 4-speed transmission and wide whitewalls with knockoff hubcaps. To the credit of all involved, the 1959 Corvette was “cleaned up” considerably. For one, the chrome “suspenders” were removed from the design, providing Corvette with a more swept back look that was synonymous with speed. For another, it was decided that the faux hood louvers would be eliminated, returning the Corvette to a semblance of its former self. While these features were key identifiers of the 1958 Corvette, there was no question that the elimination of the excessive chrome would reduce weight and help increase performance. Much like the exterior of the Corvette, the interior received minor, but significant updates as well. Both the door handles and the armrests were repositioned and a small-item storage compartment was added beneath the passenger side grab bar. In addition, both the driver and passenger seats were redesigned to offer increased lateral support of their occupants. All tachometers now indicated up to 7,000 rpm and offered redline and safe limit indicators. Sun visors were introduced to the 1959 Corvette as a new option and concave instrument lenses replaced the flat covers of the 1958 Corvette, thereby reducing sun glare (and other reflections) that might cause a driver to become distracted. To view this vehicle in greater detail including 100+ HD photos and videos, visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Description:

Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is proud to offer this absolutely stunning 1962 Ford Thunderbird Sports Roadster at our Scottsdale, AZ showroom. This beautiful bird from a long-ago era known as the Jet Age definitely makes a statement, whether its sitting still or in motion. A recent recipient of a full frame-off restoration that took nearly three years, nothing on this Black Beauty has been overlooked. Starting with the body, a true Sports Roadster was purchased to start the project that had no rust. It was professionally disassembled, media blasted and straightened, primed, painted, and color-sanded with high-quality PPG products. All of the exterior trim, bumpers, grille, taillight housings, etc. have been sent out for refurbishment to like-new condition. The entire drivetrain was sent out to the most qualified professionals to get everything done right. The engine has been up-graded with Edelbrock aluminum heads, intake, and carburetor. It now produces in excess of 400 HP! Many of the underhood components have taken a trip through the chrome shop and really make the engine pop. Underneath the car, where really nobody looks (but critical) to the functionality, comfort, and safety of driving this Ford classic wherever you may want to go. All major systems, including, front suspension, rear suspension, U-joints, braking system, and exhaust system are fully rebuilt. The interior has new seat covers, new seat foam, new carpet, a new black convertible top, and everything else has been perfectly restored. The car has manual windows, an AM radio thats been converted to AM/FM/Bluetooth, tilt-a-way steering column, power brakes, a fully functional clock, and provisions for air conditioning, although at this time is inoperable. It appears as though the majority of the components are on the car; it just needs to be completed. The convertible top and all associated components work flawlessly and turn this two-seater roadster into an all-weather car in a few minutes with the flip of a switch, all thanks to nearly every part in the system being replaced with new. A three-owner car that has received an amazing restoration and that has traveled less than one hundred miles since completion, along with full documentation confirming that there is well over $150K in this no-expense-spared restoration that had the goal in mind of being one of the top Sports Roadsters in the country. Dont miss this rare opportunity to purchase one of the rarest Thunderbirds ever to leave a Ford assembly plant. You wont have to spend three years to get another car to this level of near perfection. Buy this impressive bird now and enjoy it immediately. To see 100-plus pictures and a video of this 1962 Ford Thunderbird Sports Roadster, please visit www.gatewayclassiccars.com. Gateway Classic Cars welcomes this legendary American ride, a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS to our Philadelphia showroom located in West Deptford, NJ! This 1969 Camaro is a true ss that has been transformed into a custom restomod built by THORNTON out of Telford Pennsylvania. This stunning ’69 stands out from other Camaros with its modern fuel injected engine, updated suspension, and smooth shifting new 4 speed automatic transmission. Chevrolet engineers made this production Performance LS3 6.2L Crate Engine to deliver a stunning 495 horsepower and 473 lb.-ft. of torque. This car is the dream mix of bad to the bone appearance with modern fuel injection modern technology. A major benefit of EFI systems is the greatly improved cold and hot starting performance. This follows from the ability of the system to calculate the optimum air/fuel mixture for starting as well as from the superior atomization that results from injection of the fuel as compared to fuel delivery from a carburetor. If you take a peak under the car you will notice that this car could be literally eaten off of. The HEDTS suspension for the front and rear are all new and set up to be a comfortable driver with coil over shocks. This Camaro SS is set up with a Ford 9” rear end and has amazing stopping power with its adjustable master cylinder and Corvette style disc brakes. This car rumbles with its duel exhaust in idle and has a pure performance feel when accelerating. The style of this car comes from the exterior with its beautiful dark red paint, white hockey stick stripes, and white SS badges. The aggressive stance comes from its deep dish offset 18” in the front and 20” in the rear custom wheel setup. Matching the white accents on the exterior, the interior has comfy white leather bucket seats. The modern feel follows to the inside of the car with its custom sound system and Bluetooth paring abilities. This car is a dream to drive with tons of extras like power steering, power brakes, power windows and locks, and even a tilt steering wheel. Whether you are a collector who wants to put mirrors on the ground and win trophies at shows across the nation or even someone who wants something to enjoy the drivability and put some miles on this beautiful machine, this ’69 SS is perfect for all hobbyists. This breathtaking 1955 Chevrolet Bel Air has been restomoded to bring the best of the past and the present together.
