Occasionally, there are miscommunications about car shows that were cancelled. This results in car enthusiasts being disappointed. The Knights of Columbus and Long Island Plymouth Car Club asked me to extend a heartfelt apology about one such miscommunication. Please see below:
Good Morning Car Enthusiasts,
It has come to our knowledge a grievous error has occurred. Last February at the Presidents Council at the Moose Lodge our show representative announced that our show would not be scheduled due to a loss of venue. Apparently, some miscommunication has occurred and the show was still listed as active and located in Farmingdale, NY.
Needless to say it was totally incorrect and should never have been posted. The reasons behind this error has not be determined as yet.
On behalf of Our Lady of Grace Council 11968 of the Knights of Columbus and the Long Island Plymouth Owners Club please except our heartfelt apology to all of our Follow Car Enthusiasts who unknowingly came to support our event. Please understand it was not our intent to mislead anyone or create any undo inconvenience. It is the dedication and support of all of our follow car clubs members and individual car owners such as yourselves that has made our event so successful in the past.
The good news is that we have attained a new and larger venue for next year. It will be located in Bablyon and will prove to be a great place bring your cars and just enjoy yourselves. We will be announcing the time and date in a timely manor to allow everyone the opportunity to schedule us into your summer agendas.
We look forward to seeing you all again next year.
Again our deepest apologies for any inconvenience this might have caused,
With greatest appreciation of your continued support,
Robert Lodato PGK, DW
